Sorry to keep everyone waiting another day, had some weird-ass family trouble and I've only been able to access the internet properly now, which feels too late for a post where I have to do some research on Greatsword guards and whatnot, which I know little about.

I'm not entirely sure it's fair for you to be charging attacks already Khan, as I can't realistically attack this turn due to having no idea what position your characters are in, particularly Dj's.

Hmm. Just thought of a significant issue we're going to have here.

Khan and Important are going to post before me, but I have every intention of interrupting the backflip dodge, so how are they going to react? Arena combat really runs into issues in anything past a 1v1.

Yeah, so IN will post reacting to what events transpire, but the issue is where the cut-off point is before things aren't locked in stone. Arguably the stop point is the end of a post which has been reacted to (as once you react to something you're accepting it happened.) so IN has to react to what has definitely happened, which is Judgement swinging his sword and your character ducking under it (there isn't a whole lot he can do to stop you dodging his strike as he'd have to react to something before it happened) after that however my character isn't going to stand around while you backflip away, so IN can't write that in unless he wants to go back and change it all after I post saying that didn't happen as you said it did.

I think once the battle starts into the two one vs one fights, it'll make things easier.

Except if the two fights happen in the same room, or if the two vs two continues being a two vs two.

That's the thing, I can't -really- see the fight ever leaving the current room, unless someone dives out a window. We might have to work out a different format, like a google-doc style collab or something, so we can react to each individual moment.

Dunno, your character could just be waiting to see what happens before coming into the room, and therefore be removed from the immediate combat until this sequence ends.
