Amaya

Name: Amaya
Gender: Female
Warframe: Valkyr
Appearance: Behind the armor Amaya is a tall woman, nearly 6'2 in height and 134 lbs. There hundreds of scars on her body, some from glorious battles while others are reminders of her captivity and torture. Amaya's eyes are a simple brown color and would have matched her hair if she didn't keep it shaved down. Finally she has several ports on the left side of her head, places where wires were driven into her brain.

Personality: Among her fellow Tenno, Amaya tries to keep to herself. While she isn't a brooding child her torture did change her and she would just prefer not project her pain onto others. Consequently she has a lot of baggage that she is unwilling to ease up. Those close to her do see a little bit of the old Amaya though, little glimpses that shine through the cracks. Laughing heartily, smiling widely, and quick to hug the closest ones in moments of weakness. Others mostly refrain from mentioning the Corpus in casual conversation around her as it rarely ends well for all parties. On the field of battle she is your average Valkyr, howling and ripping into her enemies like a wild animal. She really likes rain and around the Dojo she tends to stick to the gardens were she can meditate peacefully or the observatory where she can gaze into the stars.

Appearance:

Chroma stands at a staggering seven feet in height, dwarfing most other tenno and has few that rival his size. Due to the height and mass he weighs in around 265 pounds with the suit on and about 220 without the suit. Underneath the suit, is a man who has seen quite some fights, his face marked with a rather large scar on his left cheek. His eyes seem to glow like dull embers but brighten at times when feeling great emotions and seem to even shift colors from the elements he uses. If fire they range orange to red, electricity a vibrant electric blue to dull yellow, a sinister green for when he feels toxic rouse up from him, and ice seems to make all color disappear replaced with only white.

Personality: He is primal nature incarnate, He bends the elements to his will. He is rather impassive towards his fellow tenno and likes to be blunt about things, not afraid to speak his mind even if it will agitated his brother and sisters. On the battlefield he prefers to meet his foes head and show them his elemental wrath. His effigy ability is basically his sentinel and companion, to guard his back when enemies surround him. On the battlefield he utilizes his manipulation of the elements within him and spews out his power before jumping into the middle and slicing all those who apposes him. If they don't die from his power or melee, he then can just shoo them. Either way he will make sure they die. He is loyal to his clan and will fight to the end with those that are his allies.
He will aid the Grineer or Corpus if need be but only if they have something good to offer him. His personal preference of either faction would be to watch them be wiped out along with the infected but until then he must make do and play nice with them from time to time.
In the dojo he more then likely can be found in the dueling arena, taking on anyone that dares challenge him, wanting to be able to keep his own against other tenno especially when they are at odds against the Lotus. His greatest desire though would be able to kill the one tenno they call Stalker. For the Stalker kills without honor other tenno, and if there is one foe that should have honor in death it should be fellow tenno be it friend or foe.

Oh hey, I... Don't know if this is full already or not, I came across the Interest check and it looked empty, then found the OOC and I still see one slot left.

I wanted to ask a question first, though it may not matter if I happened to be just a little too late to join in. Can 'fan-made' warframes be used if they are sufficiently 'not gimmicky pieces of crap or OP macguffins'? Like Typhus, who's practically all but already in the game forums.warframe.com/index.ph..

I've seen that design before and I do like it. There is one slot open, while there have been multiple applications, I'm going to look them over after work today and pick one. So go ahead and make Typhus, but don't be disheartened if you aren't accepted into the RP.

What Typhus looks like under the suit is a mystery, but the knowledge that there are countless parasites inhabiting his armor implies it to be anything but human.

Personality: To say that Typhus views things differently than others is a bit of an understatement, and as with much about him this too is thanks to the Parasites within his suit. Altered senses, torturous origins, confusing past, the inner workings of his mind are a mystery to those around him, the seemingly only certainty being that he held Shinto in high regards for one reason or another. While he is not outwardly hostile to any who do not threaten him, he is often apathetic towards the idea of frivolous interactions and keeps to himself, yet will still engage in such interactions if invited. One thing of note is that his interpretation of 'frivolous' seems to change on a whim, and aside from periods of frequent meditation he has been known to ask seemingly random questions of others at the strangest of times, perhaps hinting at a hunger for knowledge, perhaps some form of instability, or maybe something deeper.

Faction Preference (If any): He considers each side with Neutrality as long as they stay out of the way of his objective. The Corpus can be expected to be of use if they profit from it, and the Grineer can be expected to at least point their guns at a more hated enemy first... sometimes. The infested? Well, they make for exotic snacks. All of this said, there are certain individuals in each faction that he will gladly see eviscerated in most imaginative and violent manners.

After looking at the applications, I'm going to accept @Pathfinder's Amaya. I like all of them though, it was a tough decision. I am going tog o with Zarkun's idea and have a waitlist, if a player become inactive, I will PM another player to fill the spot.
