@Card Captor LOL their sole purpose is retrieving the pen. Once they get your pen, they leave you alone, unless of course you try to take it back from them, which then, they become a little more aggressive. And their prosthetic eyes probably use some of kind of signaling technology. They can tell when a pen is no longer working based off an electronic signal between their eye and the pen. So they definitely know.

He didn't know it would work, he just thought it could work. That's why he tested it out (breaking it, then fixing it, then breaking it again.) I only asked what they would do so that I would know how to make them react. But again, there was no detail ICLY leading up to the fact that it was possible in the RP. No one knew of the eye being prosthetic or of an electronic signal between the eye and the pen. You literally took the information you learned from the OOC and immediately applied it to your character as his "plan". Metagaming at its finest, even if you didn't realize thats what you were doing. WE know it was possible, but its bizarre that he suddenly had this grand epiphany in the heat of battle. He just randomly had the idea to break his pen? I don't buy it. And besides, why would you even want to do that? It kinda killjoys the action when you can simply break a pen and nullify the entire challenge. And it doesn't make sense that someone like Edmund would be able to think like that. He isn't that type of character.

I'm not mad or anything, but sorry, I'm still gonna have to say no to your post. Your gonna have to redo it and come up with something else.

For plot purposes, it sort of kills the whole challenge. If everyone just broke their pens and was able to walk away, it wouldn't be much of a test and the whole segment would be null. The I-men are supposed to test the student's combat abilities foremostly; the faculty probably would have precautions against certain powers.
While Ed's idea might've been an effective one in theory, we may have to rethink the way they recognize the pens (more biological thought-process?) or just leave it in the air and re-do it from the last post.

Modified Mizuki's ability to make it clear he is unable to negate all of someone's power by touching only the manifestation, and that will only negate the manifestation instead.
Edit: Also, added that all healing powers would be negated so the original idea for his flaw would work again.
