@Weird Tales

I know, I was mostly joking anyway as I don't really know enough about the whole IRA situation to comment on it properly. And I know they gave a warning about the bomb and most people got evacuated.

Eden can mix and match PCs' skills, and if a PC gives up most of his mundane skills, said PC can have two powers.

Also, I can age him up to sixteen; Jackson's age.

Repost for @AcerRo.

Show me some one that's gonna give up there meta power@Letter Bee

Point taken. But even though Eden's powers are useless, said powers fulfill several RPing needs:

1.) They establish Eden as a strategic, tactical character whose modus operandi relies on subtlety and striking from the shadows, instead of being a frontal character.

2.) They are an ideological challenge to Edge and the Underground Movement; someone who muddies the waters for them by blurring the line between Human and Meta.

3.) They allow me a set of contacts and NPCs that, though powerful, are openly flawed because they either lack powers or mundane talents.

But the most important to me is Number 2.

Damnit, I hate being an inflexible idealist; I intellectually know it's wrong, but emotionally, I don't.

Nah, you're fine. It's not like we can all come in walking away from an explosion.

You guys write fast! >.< Looks like everything is mostly sorted out here except for a few small things. Errr... let's see. Personally, I think Bee should be fully able to have Eden in this if he wants to. Just because a power is mostly useless and not overly effective doesn't mean it shouldn't have a place in the story. Owlman is case and point for that argument. Granted, I do understand Acer's dislike for children who behave like they're some wizened old leader.

Also I'm very glad that @OfficerHeadbutt cleared everything up because I was about to kick into nationalist Potato mode and that ain't pretty!

My counter to that is Owl man was the a huge PR guy for the Reformist. He served a purpose and he was beloved by everyone. But fine Bee can have him. Just know I'm leery of all this.

Things are really gonna start picking up here before long. By Friday things are gonna get pretty dark and hectic.

Nah, I'm not playing Eden. Can I at least have George Maxwell, my Secretary of State character? For reference, here he is:

Name: George Maxwell

Alias(s): None

Age: 55

Affiliations: Heroes

Factions: US Government with sympathies to the Reformists

Description: An old, but well-built man with greying red hair and striking green eyes, who, though wrinkled, still displays the traces of a well-exercised youth. His preferred attire is a grey suit with a maroon tie, kept immaculately clean, as well as shoes of the most precious leather. On his nose rests a pair of gold-rimmed glasses, which give him the air of an intellectual and wise man.

Powers: None; he's not a Meta.

Skills: Politics, Foriegn Relations, History, Economics, some knowledge of Wartime Strategy and Tactics.

Equipment: His suits, a gun equipped with Anti-Metahuman shells, a smartphone, a laptop, and a Government Car.

Ranking: None.

(Optional) Brief History: George was born in 1965, to a working-class family in Oregon, but through hard work, a steely intelligence (although he is not a genius), and some well-timed scholarships, managed to graduate from Harvard itself with a degree in Foriegn Relations, landing a job in the Embassy to Great Britain in the 2001, right before 9/11. After these attacks happened, George wholeheartedly supported the War in Afghanistan, but opposed the War in Iraq due to him sensing that the American and British Governments were lying about WMDs, and, in fact, saw many of the oncoming blunders, including the reliance on Iraqi Exiles, the blind trust in American superiority and brute force, and failure to check corruption and sectarianism.

His accurate predictions of the consequences of the conflict won him as many enemies as allies, but they managed to propel his career upwards, landing various ambassadorial jobs in the Bush, Obama, [Unknown Past President] administrations, finally landing a job as Secretary of State in the [Unknown Present President] presidency. A known supporter of Metahuman Rights, George is a friend of Sable Smoake, but is willing to work with elements that doubt her (coughLucascough), so as to maintain an independent stance. Now, with the Underground Movement rising, George is ready to put his knowledge of counterinsurgency to the test...
