@Archmage MC ok so here's where i stand with light: yes, she's op, but honestly i trust you with that because auto-hits were a common occurrence and she did lose every fight she was in. so my issue isn't so much that i think you're gonna abuse light's power, but moreā¦ it's not as interesting to have her when we know her opponent is guaranteed a win. she's more of a shiny ornament than an actual contender, and we're constantly told she's super strong and powerful but we're shown someone who can never manage a victory. my advice would be to nerf her some more to make her powers more on par with the other metas in the rp. she'd be weaker, but you could remove the auto-hits and insta-losses, and actually make her a more powerful character. she'll still lose some fights, sure, but now there'd be the possibility to win some, too.
now, for the powers, i'm happy you started incorporating the fae thing and the weaknesses to iron and silver, but now instead of being a toon or being a fae she's kinda this odd mix in between. my suggestion is you pick one and stick with it.
Well I'm thinking her abilities are now faye related instead of toon, just that those are her abilities. And the iron/silver weaknesses should fix things I think.
Yeah, that iron weakness will make her much more managable. Remember, Steel/Stainless steel is exeptionally commonplace almost everywhere and thats just refined iron or an iron/chromium alloy. So if shes giving you trouble, just grab a manhole cover. xD
If you need explinations for each power I can give them no problem as to how I understand faye/demon things.
Name: Jackson Ducarthy, Kuro, Mu Alias(s): Age: 16 Affiliations:Independent, formerly held captive by a Corporation Factions: N/A Description: Jackson around 5'10, with black hair and dark blue eyes. He usually wear some type of jacket, jeans, T-shirt, and sneakers. His skin is slightly tanned, since he likes to spend a lot of time outside, and he sometimes dyes strands of his hair different colors when he feels the need to change things up a bit. He is somewhat good looking, but that is usually hidden by his hood if he has one. He has no costume Powers: Jackson's ability is known as Reality Shifting, basically, he can bend reality to his will, but the limitation on this is that the mind of the person determines the extent of the control of reality. Jackson ability is a type of power replication, but for it to work it must be something he can actually see and it can't be anything to do with the body, as his reality shift can't affect living beings directly. Ex. If he sees someone using pyrokinesis, he could do something similar, but he would only be able to do what he saw and little else, but if he saw someone use Telekinesis, he wouldn't be able to use it as he can't see the actual ability. Jackson also has Divided Mind, which means he has different personalities and thus, different powers as a result. Also, when he copies a move, he'll suffer an intense pain as his mind 'uploads' the information. The stronger the move he copies, the more painful it is and the longer the pain lasts.
Powers he has: Fireball, Lightning Bolt, Ice Spike, Earthen Wall
Kuro can slip out of peoples ability to perceive him and his actions, but is unable to harm someone while in this state, lest he become detectable again. This ability also allows him to affect others in a similar sphere, in which what ever actions he does that affect another person, like drawing on their face, would not be noticed until he was a certain distance away, in which it would seem to suddenly appear. He also has the ability to see and interact with spiritual and paranormal beings.
Mu's ability is that he can tear portals in reality that can bring in strange creatures from other dimensions. Once they have fully entered our domain, they'll be under Mu's control entirely. The creature can be as large as a semi-truck or as small as an insect. Mu has discovered a few creatures that he really likes that he summons the most often when he comes around. He possesses two variants of creatures: Leaders, of which he can only bring forth one of at anytime(and if it dies, he has to wait a few days before he can summon that one again) and Minions, of which he can summon about 3 to 5 of them at any given time, and can be replaced about 10 minutes after they die. Leaders are more powerful, intelligent, and generally more durable than minions, and also take more energy to summon and maintain, which is why he can only bring one out at any time. Minions are bestial and weaker than Leaders, but can serve the purpose of hunting down or holding back enemies for Mu to make his escape.
*I'll get around to adding the stats to the creatures listed in due time.
Two-face is around the size of car, and has the abilities of enhanced agility, sense of smell, strength, Tough Claws that can rend through metal, a low healing factor, one head breaths a type of acidic gas that causes painful boils to form if it comes in contact with your skin, the other head can breath a highly combustable gas, than light it by using a specie organ located in the back of it's mouth.
Crawling Jaw is about the size of a Monster Truck, has thick skin that is resistant to low caliber bullets, human-like intelligence, able to track scents with it's tongue, Greatly Superior strength, relentless hunter, faster than it looks, but still kinda slow
Whisper is the size a regular human, makes very little sound when moving, very intelligent, is very swift, very dexterous with it's hands, enhanced strength, it's incense holder is actually a high tech holder for a nano-bot queen. The nano-bots she creates can scan and recreate most objects, but it takes time depending on size and complexity. The max time it'd take is about a couple hours. The nano-bots are also able to interfere with technology, not really hacking as much as renders it either unusuable or highly malfunctioning. His main use of them is for concealing himself from view in the form of a chameleonic
Skills: Some knowledge on gun use and decent aim, small amount of combat training Equipment: Nothing but the clothes on his back Ranking: Jackson is around B Rank, Kuro is C-B rank, Mu is B-A rank
hey guys, so just in case any clarification is needed, the ugm launched an attack on an anti-meta hate group, and the reformists are being called upon to deal with it. so that means their respective members are to report there, and y'know, make stuff happen. if you don't belong to either of those groups then obviously you don't have to go down there, but it'll likely be an easy way to score some interactions.
rai, ian is probably accepted? i'm pretty sure.
archmage, i think wait for acer and tate to weigh in on light.
@NytefallIt's more like that scene from X-men: days of futures past with quick silver, but he can only do it for a small window of time, and only after he's been in a fight for a while. It probably won't make that often an appearance.
I edited my character equipment description to say that Chainz now has a second chain wrapped around his torso like a bandolier as a backup. Didn't think it would be an issue.

I'm gonna have to heavily agree with you here. We added the auto-hits as a way to balance her from a GM perspective but if substantial nerfs were made to her then we would no longer need to balance her as GMs as she would naturally be on-level with the other characters. I understand the idea that Toons can go through anything and still get back up but if we maybe worked on adding some element of mortality to Light, I think she'd certainly be more balanced.

Well to be fair I suggested auto hits because people complained that they couldn't punch light until she keeled over and allowed them to see if people could hit then contain her, but that didn't happen either and I had to write how she got beat so yeah... In essence it was mostly useless overall.
And I still don't know why you don't think containment is bad, esp now where Iron = burns and silver = spontaneous combustion.
I'm here I'm back I've made it! What did I miss, besides everything?
I'll skim through the OOC in a bit, but if someone could give me the cliff notes of what I need to know, that'd be aces.
TDLR I was in the previous two RPs, They want to nerf my character but don't give any good ideas on how to do it to their liking and I'm complaining that no one is even bothering to use the actual weakness I gave her/having to think of the weaknesses and they like them but still don't like them, if that makes any sense.

I'm sure that's an informative, comprehensive, and not at all biased viewpoint on the events of the last four days.

You can keep Light the way she is if you want but at the end of the day, she is still going to lose every single fight she's put into. We were offering you the chance to change her so that she could actually have the potential of winning a fight. Due to the fact that there is no real risk when Light actually fights, we can't offer you any reward for it; understand? Light cannot really be permanently injured nor can she be killed so the worst she'll ever have after a fight is a deflated spirit due to her loss. So there you go - put a bit of risk into Light fighting and you'll get the reward. If you don't want the risk, you don't get the reward. Simple.

It's the weakness of everyone ever. Few examples of containment/sealing being used in mainstream media: Kaguya Otsutsuki (Naruto), every immortal Edo Tensei ever (Naruto), Sosuke Aizen (Bleach), Ganondorf/Ganon (Zelda). Pretty overused and ridiculously difficult to perform if the character is really, really stronk.
