[IC] Not Your Average Fairy Tale

While surrounded by clothing, Basco simply sat back to watch everyone choose their outfits. He was still unmoving on the decision he made about getting any clothes........thaaat's until Lavender suggested something to him. Basco gave it some thought about wearing a belt with a pouch for his flute. That could come in handy....he couldn't carry it all the time in his hand. Basco gave Lavender a nod "Ok....but that's if I can find something to my liking." he then found a red loin cloth looking sash thing with a leather strap as well. There was a horned emblem in front of it which could serve as his flute holder. He didn't have planned to get anything but that plan went out the window ad he tried the clothing on and spin around to take a look at himself.

Basco after finding what he wanted, sat back and watched both Nyra and Lavender complimenting each other. he waited on the others to finish so to continue on their journey.

Lavender walked over to Basco and looked at his article of-whatever-it-is, "Ooooo, fancy-smancy thing you got. It suits you quite well."

"Thank you....I think I can rock this for a while...but...what all did you find for yourself?" he asked Lavender while checking himself out and looked over to check her out.

"Just some plain clothing," Lavender replied, "Oh why didn't I think to grab a bag?" She rushed back in and grabbed a draw string bag and came back out. "Now I am set for an adventure."

Basco thought for a moment "oh is that right? are those skorts part of the plain clothes? " asking and wondering if she grabbed anything worthy of making her eye candy. Basco was wondering why is it he was acting strange when even thinking about something naughty. Satyr's were known to be lustful creature in mythology. He watched lavender run back in to find and grab a bag and came back out claiming to be ready.

Lavender laughed, "No I didn't grab one of those. Why don't you grab something you would like to see me and and I will put it in the bag for later?" I really hope he doesn't choose something skimpy.

James grabbed something blue for each part of him. Blue top, trousers, leather fingerless gloves and finished with a navy robe. His shoes he didn't change from dirty white trainers.

Daemon walked over and grabbed a pair of black trousers, a white button down shirt, and a hooded cloak to hide his face and still look cool. Well, he thought cloaks were cool. They made people look mysterious and dark. His sister, on the other hand, laughed when he showed her his new wardrobe. "You look like a gay pirate!" Daemon glared at her and, with the huge mask tattoo on his face already making him look intimidating, Daena stopped in fear. She didn't need anything. Her outfit consisted of what the transformation gave her, seeing as the only thing that changed when she was angered was her size. She wondered if she had really cool abilities like everyone else, but she stayed silent because not even Daemon knew what he could do.

Nyra sat down, wondering about something. She was afraid to bring it up, though, but her idea might help. "Um..." She looked down. "I can help carry stuff, if you like." Nyra stood up, swinging her tail. "Just put a saddle and some bags on me, I can do it."

Basco thought to himself that this girl must be starting to trust him. Looking lavender in her eyes and nodding with a smile "Alright! I'll be back in a jiffy! You may like what I bring." he said, turning around to go back inside to find something for her.he looked around carefully to see what he can find. "Ok...Basco....find something as skimpy as possible...I'm sure she'll like it..." making a perverted facial expression while turned away from everyone.

"That isn't a bad idea. I don't know if they have a saddle though," Lavender stated questioningly, "We could just redo some of the bags to match your idea."

After looking for a few minutes, something caught his eye, something he really thought would fit Lavender well. getting closer and checking out the clothing, he smiled brightly, grabbed the outfit and ran back outside where Lavender and Nyra was standing "Yo Lav!...Lav! I found the perfect outfit for you....and I put my heart and soul into finding it....I hope you like it......" swiftly pulling it out:

"what do you think? nice huh?..."

Lavender stared at what Basco presented turning beet red. Her facial expression was somewhere between disturbed and wanting to laugh. Trance like she grabbed them and put them in the bag. "I don't even know," was all she could get out while blinking repeatedly. What the heck is this thing? Why out of everything did he have to choose the skimpiest thing?

(my apologies for not posting for a long time, my family was busy, and our wi-fi went out a few days ago)

Paige had made it to the clothing store without hauling her huge cloak. All of the clothing around her was interesting; very different indeed. She loved it this way, all of it was so unique, and it caught her interest quickly. Normally she wasn't this much into clothes shopping, but she couldn't help herself. She had decided to keep her cloak, but she had to do something about it, whether it be to find something sharp to cut the end of it off, or just to abandon it completely if she really had to.

She had settled on an outfit, however, consisting of a long cream white tunic with droopy sleeves, trailing behind her when she moved them, embroidered with dark blue lace, a dark grey pair of trousers, that were also moderately loose at the ends, trailing behind her like her tunic, and a pair of black boots that went up halfway down her legs. The boots had no heel. She also found a few rings to satisfy her other fashion needs, one on her left index finger, silver with a white jewel, one on her left ring finger, also silver with engraved symbols on it, and one on her right middle finger, light blue with a dark jewel.

She pondered around, her cloak still mildly bothering her before asking out of the blue, "Does anyone have something sharp? I need to cut something off..."

After showing her what he got for her and placing it in her bag, Basco waited for Lavender's response. when giving it, Basco expected a little bit more but I guess this was a situation where he left someone nearly speechless and not knowing what to think. "Well...whenever you finally try it, let me know how it goes...or....well...I can always see what it looks like on you?"

Nyra rolled her eyes at Bosco. Really? That thing was skimpy and he knew it. She sat down closer to him and whacked his head with her tail.

“Here, dear,” Terra says to Paige, producing a small knife and handing it to her hilt first. “Be careful with that. It’s quite sharp.” Terra looks around as most everyone makes themselves at home, and takes a seat in a chair that’s much too big for her, to wait for one and all to finish. As most of the group begins to move outside, she does as well, stopped only by Gale’s words.

“Off to see the Great Mage, correct?” He hands her a rolled up parchment, sealed shut with thick blue wax. “Do me a favor and give her that for me. In exchange, I’ll let you know that some of the others leaders of the Sun Kingdom might just so happen to be there today. Tread lightly. I hear there is some due unrest between a few of them, likely caused by your friends’ arrival here.”

She nods at him, not exactly pleased with what he is telling her. “As cryptic as ever, Gale.” Terra takes the scroll and puts it within her robe, seemingly to store. Then, she turns to the group once more, arms folded.

“Well now, if that’s all, is everyone ready to keep moving? Or does anyone need help finding something?”

Jacinta watched the group run around looking for clothing. Although it was not her usual wears she was content with what she was wearing. Besides, she was not one to blend in to a group. She just stood at the side keeping to herself. Upon Terra's comment she turns to her and gives a small nod

Paige takes the knife while muttering, "Thank you," and kneels down on the ground, tearing through the fabric, watching the fibers release from each other. The fabric was very thick, so it did take her quite a while to finally tear off the foot of cloth hanging from the cloak. She puts it back on and finds it to be somewhat lighter, and is more satisfied knowing that the fabric is no longer dragging behind her.

Hearing Gale about the uneasiness of the rulers worried Lavender. Snickering at the tale-to-head Nyra gave Basco she secretly put her fist near her to a fist bump.
