The point of writing fiction based on characters is to see people from the perspective of the writer. If everyone was roleplaying as people posting in spam, it wouldn't be interesting because A.) They'd all just do things regularly and B.) They'd try too hard to make themselves interesting, which in turn makes them suck hard.

Also, Spam doesn't roleplay. We just bitch about topics.
