A new year dawns on Kagetora high school, and with it comes a new Student Council. The previous student council held the record for amount of time in power, which in the end was only one full year; but Kagetora that in itself was a feat. The thrones of the Student Council are the most coveted asset in the entire school after all, and over the years clubs would even forge alliances with others in order to take on the student council.
With the previous student council having defended their title for a whole year until they graduated, the current student council already has enemies amongst the new Third and Second years. Those who were afraid of the previous generation's power. The largest obstacle between them and a council seat has been removed, and the current Student Council is mainly made up of those chosen by the previous student council, casting doubt on their strength.
The alliances grow bolder as the days go by, and the council doesn't seem to be able to do much about it. But this is hardly something new in Kagetora, this is something that has happened countless times before. If the council is not strong enough, then they aren't fit to stand above everyone else. If you want to rule, you're always going to have to be strong.
Score
Winning a fight or doing well on a test will earn you a certain amount of Score. This Score will determine your school ranking which basically serves as an indication for who's the best in the school. Score divided into two things which are 'Points' and 'Ranks'. As you gain Points you will gain the same amount of Ranks, but the difference is that Points can be used to purchase things and Ranks will stay constant.
Rank: As stated before, as you gain Points you will gain an equal amount of Ranks. You can only lose Ranks by betting them on a fight, or by breaking the school rules. Your overall school ranking is decided linearly with your Rank, which simply means you having more Ranks than someone else means you are higher in rank. You'll need a certain amount of Rank to pass the year level but that's not exactly difficult to do. You'll gain a set amount of points and rank for a victory and the other person will also lose a set amount of rank for a loss, but you can bet more or less if you really want to.
Points: Points can be used to buy resources such as food and club equipment for your personal use. Of course, certain things are pricier than others. You gain points proportional to your assessment scores with additional multipliers depending on the subject, or you can fight for them just like Ranks. You can bet a certain amount of points and the other combatant will have to bet the same amount of Points.
Each student who starts their first year begins with 1000 Points and the same amount of Rank. Every 1% on any given assessment will give 10 Score for an average subject. For exams it's a little different, if you score over 90% you'll get 100 Score per 1%, 50-90% will get you 50 Score per 1% and anything below that will just be normal.
Regular fight points are split into the three dorm tiers. C-tier will give 100 points for a win, B-tier will give 500 points and A-tier will give 1000 points for any average win, while the loser will lose that amount depending on their tier.
Fights
Fights are a regular occurrence. If there aren't any random fights breaking out in the school, then that just means that an event where you'll have to fight hard is coming soon. You can fight for any reason, or even no reason at all. There are very little rules when it comes to fights, but the ones that do exist are strictly reinforced. They include:
Both sides must consent to the battle
No fighting can occur before or after school hours
Fighting can occur anywhere, but if Rank is at stake then fights must take place in a designated fighting area
Anything wagered on a fight must be given when the fight is over
The specific rules of the fight can be decided by the participants, but other than that anything goes
Breaking these rules can result in a Point deduction or even a Rank deduction
For some people, fights are their main source of Ranks but for others who can do well in their studies they don't need fights to pass. But if you really wish to excel in this school, you're going to have to fight.
Structures
The school itself is divided into two places. First is the main school complex, and behind it are the dorms. The dorms are split into four 'tiers' with the first three being available to all of the students, and the last one is exclusively used by members of the student council.
Rank Requirement: 0 The C-tier dorm is a fairly normal dorm by anyone's standards. It has normal accommodations with a maximum of four per room (using bunk beds), but you can request to have less. You are able to arrange who lives with you if you want, and meals are provided for you in the communal meal area but they are relatively standard in comparison to other dorms. C-tier houses the most residents.
Rank Requirement: 10,000 The B-tier dorms are simply a step up from C-tier, requiring a certain rank to move up. The rooms are larger and each can even have their own desk inside. B-tier rooms also have their own bathrooms even though meals are still only communal. You can either have a full sized bed or a bunk bed and you can still live with other students if you wish.
Rank Requirement: 100,000 The A-tier dorms are rather luxurious in comparison to the other dorms. Rooms are spacious and meals can even be delivered if you don't want to come down to get them. The A-tier dorms also have their own lounge and entertainment area. A-tier usually houses the least students of the three open dorms, but not just because of the rank requirement. Some students don't move up because they wish to stay with friends who aren't on their level.
The Student Council Dorms are a little different from the others. Instead of having any set structure, their rooms change depending on what they want. Actually, the entire dorm's structure changes according to their wishes. Over the years, there have been greenhouses, tea parlours and even a store-front selling products and guided tours of the dorms. It should be noted that those tours actually took about an hour to complete. Changes are made by the school's phantom re-constructors, only the Student Council know their identities and none of them have told anyone.
The school complex also has its own host of unusual structures. In the center of the school is an auditorium with a large pit fighting arena at the bottom, the school courtyard has spectator seats ringed around the outside, and most of the classrooms can be re-purposed as arenas in case some students are having a disagreement without disturbing the class.
Besides those there are the standard structures such as the library, sick bay and staff room; there are also many spare classrooms in case some get destroyed during the day.
Character sheets
Name: Appearance: Gender: Age: Year Level: Faction/club: Power: Bio: Score:
Appearance: It would be nice if you could just go anime pictures and whatnot but you can do whatever you really want.
Year Level: It's either 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Like how it is in Japan, ages are usually 16, 17 and 18 respectively but you can have skipped grades or not moved up grades if you really want.
Faction/club: I haven't done any faction yet, but at least you know there's the student council. You don't have to wait for me to start making factions, you can make your own factions or clubs if you really want to. Just ask me about it so I can give the OK.
Power: For your powers, you should give it a name and add strengths and weaknesses if you want. But for some powers strengths and weaknesses are a bit weird so you don't have to do it.
Bio: You can make it however long you want but if it's getting to 3+ paragraphs then put it in a hider for our sakes. Make sure to include some history and personality, it's also good if you can have some history with other characters, it makes things interesting.
Score: First years start with 1000 and anyone above should probably have more. Your Rank also determines what dorm you're in, but you don't have to be in your rank specific dorm if you don't want to.
Factions
A faction is basically an alliance of clubs usually based on mutual benefit. Sometimes though, Factions can basically be just like extended clubs. They are obligated to have a display during festivals and during certain events, they are basically their own team. There are many factions within Kagetora but the most noteworthy factions are the alliances made between the biggest combat oriented clubs in the school.
The Fighters are a collective of all of the Martial Arts clubs in Kagetora. Their main traits are their sheer physical and mental strength, as well as being mediocre on the grades. The clubs in their alliance are:
Judo Club
Fighters. They’re fighters. Fighters who practice some sort of art that goes back hundreds – literal hundreds – of years. They’re strong physically, and they’re even stronger mentally. They prefer only to fight when necessary, trying to avoid all sorts of conflicts until it is absolutely required, and even then, they try to end the fight as quickly as possible.
So, simply put, they’re fighters.
Need I say more?
Boxing Club
They’re fighters. Fighters who prefer to fight with their fists – and only their fists – to try to subdue their opponent. They’re strong physically, and mentally… well, they might not be so “right” in the head with all of those punches going to their head, but they’re strong.
And hopefully exciting.
No one likes a Mayweather sort of fighter.
Fighting Club
… Do I really have to explain this one?
They’re fighters. Fighters. Fighters.
Fighters.
They like to fight.
The Fighting Club is more or less a sort of “trash bin” for every other martial arts, such as Krav Maga or Jiu Jitsu. Those likes. The Fighting Club was also formed to be a sort of “middle man” in the alliance between the Judo Club and the Boxing Club. They’re fighters. Club descriptions written by @Ryu
The Imperial Regiment fashions itself as a sort of army if their name wasn't enough to clue you in. Quite possibly the largest Faction in terms of members, mostly due to the popularity of the clubs that make up the Imperial Regiment.
Kendo Club
Oh dear god.
It's the samurai-wannabes.
They practice Kendo -- or in this case, known to the Otakons, the "samurai art form."
They fight with bamboo swords -- as typical of them -- and when the going gets tough for them, can fight with an actual, real, steel katana.
More or less, they despise the Boxing, Fighting, and Judo club simply because they... fight with their bare fists.
The archery club prides itself on being able to use bows.
As in really use bows.
Either do a triple backflip and still shoot straight or pin a fly to the bullseye and then you'd be considered good.
Standards for their higher ranks are tight, but not so much with the rest of them. One thing is always constant though, they hate the ballistics club with a passion.
Maybe they like to overcompensate.
Ballistics CLub
You thought Archery was the best ranged option? Think again.
For Kagetora's Ballistics Club, guns are where it's at.
At school, you're legally allowed to carry and use a gun because even if you basically kill someone they just pop back up again the next day with no memory of what just happened, so target practice is going to be the least of your worries.
Not being the target is the problem.
The Coalition of Ichor is considered to be a rather strange group of clubs in terms of open combat. Those who are in the clubs that make up the alliance tend to have powers that aren't suited for direct combat, instead the clubs share resources to create ways of going around direct combat.
Science Club
Well, they say 'science' but no one knows what really goes on in the club rooms after hours.
Students sometimes report momentary blackouts as they walk by, among the few identifiable symptoms.
Of course, the students in the Science club are always eager to 'examine' them. [/hr]
Occult Research Club
The combat powerhouses of their alliance, the Occult Research Club have probably the strongest direct damage powers in the Coalition.
That being said, there aren't very many of them because they only take people with occult-themed abilities.
They are perfectly capable of getting by on their own, but they seem to have been the ones who formed the Coalition of Ichor.
Going Home Club
A club made entirely of introverts, it's amazing that they even managed to last as long as they have.
When every club meeting consists of a whole room of people staring at each other too afraid to say anything, you'd wonder why it was made in the first place.
Rumours say they were allowed into the Coalition of Ichor because the other two clubs felt pity for them.
Current Student Council
The current student council is unique in the sense that their members didn't come from Factions, but the previous student council decided to choose who would initially be the next after a certain incident. Concerning one of their own.
Currently there are only actually four members, the Acting President/Vice President, the Treasurer, the Public Relations Officer, and the Student Relations Officer.
The Acting President took over the role of President since the actual president disappeared saying he would have to go for a while.
The current Treasurer is the person who was sort of responsible for the student council ending up where they were now (@Ryu's character)
The Public Relations Officer takes care of school events and most of the things to do with school events.
And the Student Relations Officer has the task of keeping an eye out on how the students are 'interacting' with each other. Basically, who's fighting who, why are they fighting, and is a war going to break out soon?
Power: 5 Palm Buddha Mountain Eruption, a martial arts passed down the Kagenuma clan, emphasizing power and technique, and above all, channeling fire through their inner ki. As a side effect of the harsh training, she gained prodigious strength and endurance, and particularly resistance towards heat. Training includes fighting with a myriad of weapons, but because of her own strength and the requisite fire the martial art produces, most weapon besides those made by her own clan usually break after a few swings, unable to withstand the effect of her power on it.
Bio:She was raised in a faraway village way up in the mountains, where her clan still owns a large amount of land and a few dojo teaching the basics of their martial arts to students. From time to time they would get the occasional challenger who journeyed there, whereupon she would sneak into the dojo to watch her father fight. Her father always looked resplendent as he fought, his techniques flawless, his strikes precise and powerful. That was not to say the challengers were mostly weak either. Many of them were strong in their own way, some were fleet and deceptive, some had this seemingly flawless ability to predict her father's moves, and some were straight up as powerful and durable like her father.
One day, during the customary dinner with a challenger after a fight, the challenger casually mentioned of a school where a lot of strong young people gathered. It was extremely obvious afterwards her father took an interest to that, for the very next day, she had a few new clothes and several bags, even though she couldn't go there yet for a few months. Her training grew steadily more intense during those last months, before finally being sent to school. As much as she disliked the rather intense training her father put her through, she understood his desire and enthusiasm.
To showcase the might of their martial arts to the world.
Elize is a tall willowy girl, standing about five foot eight. She works out regularly and thus is cut like a professional athlete.
Elize Vanzant
Gender: Female Age: 17 Year Level: 3 Faction/club: Imperial Regimate/ Archery Club
Power: Elize's power consists of the ability to manipulate the air around her. If it rains she does not get rained on, if you make her mad expect to be punished severely for it. Elize can control any gaseous substance because of this she can literally rip the air out of your lungs or from anywhere else she would like. She can also produce a sort of hyperbaric chamber and depending on what she puts in it it can either help or hurt, a lot. Her powers still have a lot of time to grow and she works on her endurance of using them daily. Moving a lot of air requires a lot of energy and concentration. The longer Elize is forced to hold air or continuously move it the harder it becomes to do so. Long stents of continuously moving air, which is required for stunts like keeping air away or pushing it towards something because of the nature of gases which everyone should know from science class, can result in serious consequences. These consequences can be anything from a serious nose bleed to unconsciousness. Any amount of work with the powers over about 20 to 30 minutes will without a doubt result in a serious nose bleed and have drained quite a bit of energy. Once Elize reaches about the 45 minute mark she generally has a headache and the longer she pushes past that mark the worse it and her nose bleed will get. This is one of the reasons she works hard to increase her endurance.
Bio: Born to Iris and Slade Vanzant, Elize grew up with parents who had powers. Iris and Slade met at the academy and married shortly after graduating, Elize was born just two years later. Elize's father is an illusionist and her mother is a water manipulator. Elize's family is very well off, and she was sent to a private school for regular children before she moved to this academy when she was old enough. When she was younger her parents hired private tutors to help her in school and to learn to control her powers. Even as a young girl Elize showed a tremendous penchant for working hard to earn what she got. When she was around 6 her parents bought her her very first bow, a small 15 pound recurve that she still owns. It was from that day on that she practiced with her bow alongside practicing with her powers. When she was 10 Elize acquired her first horse, a Sugarbush Draft named Hexa's Sugarbush Princess or Princess for short. This quickly became Elize's third and favorite hobby. She quickly got the mare to accept Elize shooting her bow from her back and by 12 she was competing in competitions regularly for mounted archery. Horseback riding and archer are Elize's true loves. Elize has developed a rather fierce reputation because her powers allow direct damage without physically touching anyone.
I like how the very first character can already destroy anyone without highly superhuman resistance in a single attack at touch or range, can make things explode, has extremely effective defenses, heightened speed, toughness and pain tolerance to cover what those defenses don't and weaknesses that don't really apply because his abilities naturally counter them. Really sets the tone here, as seen by the character than can just literally rip the air out from your lungs at a whim.
I'm not really sure what sort of powers we want here to be honest. I thought of a martial arts thing, but thought it might be too tame so I added some. ^^;
@Zero Hex I'm not quite sure why you find it necessary to be so sarcastic, especially in that manner. What did you expect when the roleplay is based entirely on fighting?
Lol chill mate. I have no idea on why people find it so necessary to be sarcastic and passive aggressive.
I'll change some stuff up. This is a character I've already had for a super-power RP, and I decided to throw it back into an RP because I didn't have much time to play as him. Drink some gatorade and chill out.
Oh I don't know, fighting instead of characters who trade instakill abilities while also having amazing defensive abilities such as no physical means of damage can ever work on them, because they're instantly completely nullified. But don't mind me, just expressing my opinion, it's up to the GM really.
No, your opinion was legit and useful, but there's really not a reason to be a sarcastic dick about it. We're human, not the characters we RP as.
Anyways, it's edited. I'll see what the GM says about it now.
Edit: Actually, GM, hope you have a fun RP bro. I sort of have a bad taste in my mouth now, so I'm gonna head out, but this is a pretty fun idea, and I hope you can have fun with it. Peace!
Her body type is lanky. She's not some sort of fitness junkie, however she's a bit muscular from hunting. When able to she wears her favorite Gamo hoodie that has camo running down one sleeve (encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tb..) (If you ask her, one of her 'weakling' relatives bought it thinking of the airgun company), with a grey shirt underneath, and either slightly baggy blue jeans or cargo pants. Wearing the respirator with goggles is more of a need for her. She absolutely refuses to go without it. Most people think it's because she's a prepper and waiting for chemical warfare. For whatever reason, Olle sees it as sort of an insult if you ask why she wears it.
Gender: Female Age: 17 Year Level: 2nd Year Faction/club: Imperial Regiment / Ballistics Club Power: (I'm not going to make this OP at all.) The Power of 'Truth'. No, it isn't the one you've seen in books where the protagonist is able to make people speak the truth. Instead of that it's rather simple: The ability to sense ammo and catch it in midair. It doesn't work one hundred percent of the time, and the side effects aren't generous if performed regularly. Most of the time doing it requires her to go through both physical and mental pain. Knowing this she tries not to use it often. Bio:
Olle Mattis isn't some hero. She was born into a family that encouraged death, honor, and strength. Anyone weak was immediately picked on by the rest and wasn't expected to live too long; normally due to suicide or abuse. Kids were brought up to hunt and taught gun safety at just tender ages. Maybe that's why the academy wanted her. She could kill most game without even blinking. Was she a expert? No. Maybe it was because of pure sympathy for a 'tortured' soul.
Because that's exactly what the product was. A silent stalker that attacks viciously in a random manner. Unstable and fusing with pessimistic and realist thoughts; confusing love with death. But that was a secret Olle enjoyed keeping to herself. On the outside she could just be seen as a weirdo... But in the inside a hurricane raging against the barriers. Which is why she sometimes gets angry at small things and not analyze a situation properly.
Olle enjoys mostly neurohop, darkrap, alternative, rock, etc type of music. (Also, are characters allowed to bring instruments? I saw someone with a drum, but would, hehe a electric guitar be allowed?)
Weapons: Olle carries a Becker bk7 with her normally, along with a small pocket sized Victorinox Swiss Army SD knife. For a handgun she conceals a Glock 34 Gen 3 9mm on her basically everywhere she goes, locked and loaded with ammo. Her last weapon is a Browning A-Bolt 3 Composite Stalker rifle plus a sling. She doesn't carry it often around campus due to it's size, however she can be seen around with it sometimes. Score: R / 32,468 P / 31,093 Fight Log and Statistics: (Just putting this here so I won't forget during the RP.) W/L - W/L Ratio -
Honestly? Because fighting school can be fun, it's a simple as crap shonen setting and one I like. But when you turn it into powerwank central where characters need the ability to effortlessly instakill anyone that doesn't have some means of heightened defense to survive, let alone remain competitive, then it stops being as fun, because everyone tends to go for ridiculous powers in an effort to not be shown up by others. Then rather than a fun game about fighting and shenanigans it turns into everyone having a nuke button.
It's "fine" when it happens in bad shonen because there's a single writer controlling the narrative and he doesn't need things to remain balanced and reasonable. In a roleplay it just turns into a stupid arms race where people strive to be as overpowered as the GM will allow to counter or at least balance out with the other characters. But hey, don't mind me, it's up to the GM to judge and people should just follow whatever powerlevel's allowed.
Wards of the Emperor “Inside of him lies the incredible power of an emperor. Too bad he’s just some stupid little kid though” – Matsumoto Taiki, Souta’s Uncle
At any time, Souta is able to call upon two heavily armed samurai to either defend him or attack for him. These samurai can never die. They are not mortal men, but instead, are spirits sent from the heavens to serve under their master.
That doesn’t mean they can’t be defeated.
These samurais can be defeated in one way and one way only – in combat. If these samurais do find themselves defeated, they will kneel down and commit the art of seppuku before dissipating into the world of the spirits to rest and recover from their wounds.
This means that if these samurais are defeated, Souta is simply left undefended.
Be warned though, these samurais have served a long line of people before them, and thus have experience under their belt.
Once ago, the emperor of the Land of the Rising Sun had a need for a bodyguard. Someone who would stay by his side twenty-four/seven and watch over him, ensuring he would be always be safe as he slept soundly.
The emperor watched as his guards trained, watching carefully as they walked down the halls of his grand castle, watching for many nights until finally selecting one guard who he had determined to be the hardest working.
With this guard, the emperor granted part of his power to, giving some of the divine strength which the emperor had to this lowly guard so he could do his new job of protecting the emperor well.
And that he did.
Over the span of five years, this new bodyguard thwarted over ten foolish attempts to kill the emperor and had even saved the emperor’s son – a job that he was not required to do – from being held hostage by a clan who opposed the emperor and his ways.
The emperor, impressed by this, ensured that the guard’s family would stay by the emperor’s sons and his sons forever by proclaiming the guard’s family as nobles, having them stay close by the royal castle.
For the next seven hundred or so years, the Matsumoto family did a fine job as bodyguards for the emperor, each one of them inheriting a small portion of the power they were granted from the emperor before. It wasn’t until the founding of the Imperial Guard that they were dismissed, but by then, the Matsumoto family had found a secure place in the society as nobles who had managed to start a rather successful company that is still here to this day.
However, their beginnings as mere bodyguards to the emperor would stay with them until the end, for with every single member in the family having access to the same power their ancestors before them had once had – the power of an emperor.
It is here where Matsumoto Souta’s story begins.
Souta was born to two somewhat loving parents, being the youngest child out of his older three brothers and sister, his siblings had proclaimed him to be the “luckiest” simply because he had gotten the “youngest child” treatment, where the parents are often a bit too lenient on the boy.
Of course, this did not mean Souta was exempt from everything that his parents had forced his siblings to do at a young age. Souta’s parents had to more or less force the young boy to take a martial arts class throughout his childhood as a way to keep the boy entertained while his two parents went off on business trips, and when he had reached high school age, had even sent him off to a high school his siblings had once go to before. More of a private academy than a high school, Souta had no idea what he was in for – or the incredible power inside of him – until his sister had to pull him aside.
Souta’s sister took Souta to the academy herself, giving the boy a tour of the facilities while telling stories of the staff members, the teachers, and the students themselves as they walked around. At the end of the tour, she had finally told Souta of the incredible power that was inside of him, and began to teach the young boy about it – albeit brutally and harshly just like the martial arts training he had received years ago.
As the end of her school year approached, Souta’s sister, knowing that no one would be there for the boy when he would enter high school (since she had to go off to some dreadful new place known as college) made sure that her brother would be well off when he entered by ensuring a spot on the student council for him by giving him her own seat when she would leave.
Souta, still just a measly young boy who has yet to realize the true potential of his power, is now entering a high school full of people he doesn’t know all vying for power – and he’s just been given a seat on the student council.
Appearance: A 5'8", scrawny dark skinned foreigner. Trinh, as he prefers to be referred as, has long, unkempt greasy hair to go with his pimpled, greasy face. His appearance is generally sloppy, though clean enough that he can be generally comfortable. He typically wears a white, long sleeved button-up with the sleeves rolled to his elbow; with a pair of blue slacks and running shoes. He is most notable for the single long eyebrow sticking out of the left side of his face. Trinh refuses to shave it off.
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Year Level: 1st
Faction/club: DJ Club
Power: Some could say Trinh's power is his super analytical nature which seems to pay a good deal of attention to detail. He has study habits which appear obsessive, which focus more on beating in and retaining information. In addition, Trinh is very good at recognizing patterns. These skills, however, were honed more by the draconian educational system of Vietnam more than a super power. To counter this, Trinh carries on his person; at all times; an AK103 with selective fire (three-round burst and safe), mounted with close combat optics, fixed bayonet, and five 30 round magazines worth of 7.62x39mm with 3 magazines of lead cased ammo and 2 magazines of brass cased ammo. He also has on him three CAT tourniquets, 2 packs of occlusive chest dressing, a bottle of Motrin, and a bottle of 91% isopropyl alcohol. His rifle is often slung on his back. Trinh carries a magazine of beass 7.62 in his left pocket at all times. The rest of his equipment along with his other school supplies goes inside a brown leather messenger bag that Trinh is usually not seen without on campus.
Bio: Trinh is a foreign student from Vietnam who moved countries when as his parents were fighting. Trinh moved soon into his aunt's house, his aunt paying for his plane ticket. When choosing schools, Trinh did not mind which one he went to. He was too unfamiliar with the new school system to really care. Eventually, he chose a school that provided housing so that he didn't have to live off of his aunt the entire time he stayed in the country. Unbeknownst to Trinh, it was a school for the super human.
A new student, he had little friends. He didn't particularly care. All Trinh really wanted to do was play video games on his laptop. He uses the DJ club as a nap room and a relatively quiet place to play video games in. Though he doesn't have any actual official affiliation with the DJ club proper, Trinh will protect his napping spot with life and limb.
Trinh typically does not make friends. With a language barrier barring him from interaction, his knowledge of the English language quite limited, Trinh only rarely raises his hand. His accent keeps him from speaking really to anyone unless he really needs to. However, long periods of using the Internet in English had given Trinh a grasp on written English and all the formalities of the language's syntax and grammar. If only he could solve his horrible accent.
Name: Kurosawa Misaki (Kurosawa Miki or just 'Mickey')
Gender: Female Age: 17 Year Level: 2 Faction/club: Captain of Boxing Club (Though really, Misaki would prefer to cheer on the accomplishments of her Club Peers)
Power: Malleability of the Body - Kurosawa Misaki has the ability to warp her body, being able of performing such feats such as being able to transform herself to look like others or creating additional limbs.
Bio: Kurosawa Misaki was born in Toyko. Growing up, Misaki learned that she had the gift of warping her own body. This did not provide incentive for her to go out and be social, as she was afraid of what she truly was and where she belonged. Although it did allow her to become one Hell of a Prankster. But back to the main point, this ability helped socially impair her, which worried her parents. Her mother and father talked, and decided to push her into an activity of her choice. Much to the surprise of her parents, she seemed interested in the idea of cheerleading. While hesitant, and feeling that she should instead just stick to playing card games and the like, her parents were enthusiastic in pushing her towards an activity where she'd have to be vibrant, whether she wanted to or not. She did enjoy the activity and made friends doing it, all the while doing it she became more social. However, her life would change when she was sent to Kagetora Academy. Now she hopes she can survive the turmoil within, and hopefully keep a relatively peaceful life as she goes through the school system...
Of course that is not be as easy as it seems. Especially since, as Mickey managed to become the Captain while all the other seniors were moving off to participate in real league circuits, while others were transferred to other schools. It just so happened that they managed to win the battle to claim the title of Captain of the Club. As such, to honor and preserve the honor of the club, relative peace may not be an option.
Name: Akira "Sting" Banchou Appearance: Gender: Male Age: 18 Year Level: Senior Faction/club: DJ Club, Botany Club Power: Akira's power isn't overt. After three years at the academy, Akira's body and clothing are infested with parasitic organisms. While this drastically increases his food intake, it also grants him a wide range of benefits. Bees nest in his hair, giving it a lustrous sheen from the honey and meticulous care of a beehive. The worms in his stomach make the acid incredibly potent, allowing him to spray it from his mouth. The strange beetles living under his jacket make hitting him akin to punching a stone wall, though force still sends him reeling. "One With The Power of Nature." Rank: 1,000,000 Bio: Akira comes from a loving family... who ALSO happen to be infested by parasitic bugs. His mother's colony of ants works constantly, and his father's beetle coating makes him nearly bulletproof. In fact, power over insects runs in the family on both sides. Although his last name refers to the position in the Japanese imperial guard his family once held, Akira just so happens to be a banchou, the leader of a school's delinquents. Mostly, this consists of fighting other delinquents in a show of physical dominance, then palling around with them later. The gang's secondary priorities include protecting the weak from bullies and helping old people. As soon as he heard of a school for those with powers, however, he recognized his best chance of becoming King of the Bancho! All it would take is bringing the delinquents here down a peg.
