Liz woke up early because she was the owner of the Underground. Her job was to make sure that the place was ready for whoever and whatever came to the Underground everyday. She was good at her job. This sanctuary was important to her. She wouldn't let anyone destroy it for any reason. For many people it was the only safe place they had. She might look and sound fragile but she wasn't. She was powerful enough to keep this place from becoming the war zone the rest of the world had become.

It was rare that Zakuro left the Underground. She had no love for spilling blood, although she was an expert swordswoman. For her, the beauty and artistry of the weapon and the way it was used was far better then the violent reason for which it was made.
"Good morning." She greeted Liz quietly, moving into the common room with her hands tucked into her sleeves. Her six tails swished gently behind her and her face was calm and serene, as it usually was in the early mornings. There was little that Zakuro loved more than an early morning spent in peace with a cup of jasmine tea.

Xeron sat in the furthest possible table, hidden behind a pot plant, slowly drinking from a white cup that steamed slightly. – English Tea. One of the things that he enjoyed every time he came to the Human Realm. By his side was a newspaper, detailing a new ‘rehabilitation’ for young prisoners to some degree, all he knew was that soon there will be souls that will need collecting, and it will be his job to do it.

Xeron didn’t sit away from the crowd because he didn’t like social interaction, in fact he quite enjoyed it, but his job and title often meant that people weren’t keen on having him around, using the souls to expand your own life was a sin among sinners, and instead of ruining people’s day, he was sit away from people as for them not to feel too harassed by his presence.

Having prepared her tea, Zakuro took it to her usual table, a small one near the wall. Using a small bit of magic, she reached out and identified everyone currently in the room. Average supernatural, average supernatural, Liz, average supernatural - wait a minute. Something here is different; there is an aura I've never felt before... an aura of darkness. Interesting. She considered sending a message to the owner of the interesting aura, but decided against it. Instead, she turned her head towards the aura's owner and smiled slightly.

Xeron looked up from under his hood just enough to notice a pointed ear fox girl looking at him. Here he was debating if it was actually him she was looking at, there had been one too many times when mistaken identity had landed him into awkward situations, but what the hell. He lowered his hood to reveal his surprisingly young, fresh face and brown hair that he roughly neatened. He raised his left hand slightly that passed for a wave.

Very interesting. Zakuro lifted an eyebrow at the man and tilted her head, flicking her eyes between him and the only other chair at her table pointedly. She wasn't much of a people person, but some people were to interesting to ignore.

Liz watched the two interact. She tried to encourage conversation between races. She thought it helped. But she was shy by nature so she approached the people she knew first. Zakuro was someone she had known since she had been appointed guardian of the Underground a couple of years ago. She walked up to the other woman and smiled. "How are you today Zakuro?"

Xeron stood from his seat, tea in one hand and the newspaper under his arm. This person clearly had no idea who he was, and or was just crazy, either way he was about to find out. He carefully moved past a few people, all of who ducked from him and placed his cup and paper neatly on the table which Zakuro sat.

“Hi there, I am Xeron na’Itania, Page to the Demon King of the 9th Realm.” He said formally, bowing slightly as he did so.

"I am well, thank you, Liz." Zakuro smiled up at the woman, using her magic to bring over another chair, as she hoped the dark-aura man would still join her. "Join me?" Liz was one of the few Zakuro counted as friends, so the kitsune was genuinely pleased to speak with her.
With that said, she turned to Xeron. "Greetings, Xeron-san. I am Zakuro, a kitsune of the Wind clan. Pleased to meet you."

Xeron sat down and sipped his tea.

“A pleasure, but if you don’t mind me asking, well not many people are friendly to a soul thief.”

Xeron’s hand trembled slightly. Dealing with a mass army and destroying them, that was easy; sitting down and having a ‘normal’ conversation, that was his biggest challenge. While it helped that she was a demon of sorts. He looked up at Liz, he knew she was the boss and knew that under that frail looking body was a beast that would be unstoppable if released.

"You are unknown to me." Zakuro sipped her tea and looked at Xeron. "In over six hundred years of life, I thought I'd seen it all. I was interested."

“Trust me, even with 4,000 years under your belt you will never truly see it all, there will always be something new. Anyway I’m surprised you haven’t heard about the Prince of Death, most people like to avoid me if the can. But enough about me, tell me about yourself and what brings you to the Monster Haven.”

Liz blushed when the male demon joined her friend. She was vaguely familiar with him. She smiled shyly at Zakuro. "Thank you friend." she said softly. She took the chair the other woman had briyught over. She was young compared to them. She had a lot to learn yet. She thought this was the perfect place to do that.

Shadows moved and slithered to a table in the corner like snakes, and a bone like staff started rising in the corner and A bone figure showed in dark evil robes and looked around, and waited. Derg. The scourge of his kind, and cruel by his nature. He looked around and spoke in a raspy voice "Good Evening to you everyone."

Sorichiro had his nose tucked in a book. He always had his nose in book. He had been reading for an hour without leaving his room. "I suppose the rest of the imbeciles are waiting for me. I'll be off." He placed his book by his bed, and walked to the common room. Even when he was moving, he was in constant thought. He was thinking mainly about his book, and about what he would be able to deduce from the others. "Good day." He said slowly as he entered the common room. He pulled out a chair and kicked his feet up on the table, furrowing his brow.

"I have no love for bloodshed. There is artistry in the weapons, a sort of dance to the way they are used, but what they are used for..." Zakuro shook her head. "Here, there is peace, and that is what I treasure."

There were two voices of men speaking outside of the Undergound, one was Lucian, the other; a random vampire.
"The humans?! I think they are filthy! None of them deserve to live. It's strange how they are alive at all with all of those diseases and such. Eugh." Lucian barked.
The other vampire laughed.
"I agree with you brother!" He spat out as he drank, laughing.

"And yet, it only takes a single act to destroy that fragile peace."
Xeron looked down at his sheathed katana, he knew all too well how peace could easily be severed. The faint smell of blood caught his nose's attention and turned to Liz.
"I take it you accept creature from all walks of life, or well, unlife. But is it wise for someone to be drinking outside?"

"Indeed." Zakuro agreed, before she caught the scent of blood. An expression of faint disgust crossed her face. Using the same bit of magic that had brought Xeron to her attention, she quickly identified the creatures outside. "Vampires." She sighed. "I wish they would feed somewhere else."

@LadyTale
"We welcome all. As long as the vampire only feeds from the living I cant do anything about him. The rules are there to protect all species. Not just the ones we like. He will feed out of sight though. That is one thing I will not allow in the public rooms. There are too many with bad memories of vampires to allow them to feed in the public areas." Liz told her in a soft voice.
