@KoL Judge, jury, and executioner into a single avatar. You call it hypocrisy, but it's far better an ideal then to simply accept the inherent nature of Deep Ground and give into the blind lust for blood and battle.
So maybe the Sweepers haven't been successful in being the defenders of the weak and innocent. Being good is not a series of successes in its name, but the willingness to go against the grain and defiantly renounce evil against overwhelm odds against them.
Nobility has been twisted into an ironic word nowadays, more associated with decadence and corruption, but I dare say, it is the word that represents the Sweepers as they try to maintain the honor and obligations as the only driving force in Deep Ground d who willingly oppose the tiger rather than flee as most vermin do.
