Family comes first for her, above everything else. Now that she is a mother-to-be, Lissa will put her baby before anyone else, especially since she is a widow. Lissa is an emotional person, but that doesn't necessarily mean she is light-hearted. However, it does only take one rude comment to make her cry and it already doesn't help that she cries very easily. Over the past year or so, she has been suffering from mild depression due to her husband's passing.

History:

Lissa was born into a family of Asian-American immigrants as the only daughter to a hairdresser and a civil engineer, both of them being refugees from the Vietnam War. While her father was fairly laid-back, her mother was strict but grew lenient as she got older. She had a lot of trouble making friends growing up, so for most of elementary school and all the way through middle school, Lissa was the type of girl who would keep to herself unless she had to partner up with another student, for whatever the reason may be, but it gave her an excuse to focus on her academics. In middle school, she was exposed to the world of dating, but wasn't exactly allowed to date until sophomore year. However, she never really had a reason to rebel against it because she was just that nerdy-looking Asian girl with braces. At the beginning of high school, where her grades really mattered, Lissa was more into her academics then ever. Her mother loosened up because she didn't want Lissa to become a workaholic and shifted to encouraging her to being more social. To appease her mother, Lissa decided to join the Girls' Tennis Team. She was a natural at the sport and made team captain by junior year. Around then, her mother and father would completely loosen up and allow their daughter to start dating.

She would then meet her high school sweetheart, Mitchell Shen, a star player on the basketball team. The two had excellent chemistry and their relationship caught all their classmates by surprise. Their relationship would last through college, where Mitchell got a Basketball Scholarship and Lissa received numerous scholarships for her academic achievements, which made her happy. Lissa herself would do a double major for Nursing and Medicine, wanting to become a doctor or medical technician even but could settle on becoming a nurse. At the age of twenty-two, she landed her job as a clinic nurse at the local hospital. She and Mitchell would get married shortly after both of them secured their careers. Both Mitchell and Lissa dreamed of starting a family but were too focused on their careers for the first two years of their marriage. As a nurse, she had to work long hours and was often exhausted, she only got a few hours of sleep every night. It was a killer, so she eventually decided to quit and instead went back to school study Sports Medicine so that she could be a School Nurse. This was a bit better, as she got more sleep and was more or so able to prepare to start a family.

* Lissa is 5'4" tall maybe a little taller with heels. She initially weighed exactly one-hundred pounds, but after she became pregnant, she gained an additional thirty pounds due to pregnancy weight gain. She once had a slender build, but was also lean and athletic. Her skin is noted for being very soft, but can be rough if she does not take care of it. Temporarily, she will have the "pregnancy glow" due to carrying life. Because of the growing baby, her stomach has expanded considerably. As of current, she is estimated to be at least 34 weeks along in her pregnancy. At this stage in her pregnancy, she has trouble walking, let alone she can't run.

* She is a nurse, so medical aid is her strong suit, as long as she has access to the materials required.

* She is also strong-suited for a moral compass for her friends and people close to her, sometimes strangers unless they are very dense.

Personality:
On the surface, Seamus comes off as a rather silly and lighthearted person, frequently engaging in comical behavior and retaining his oft-present grin even while making threats. He displays a childlike amusement for new situations whether or not they prove adverse or even potentially fatal, he has a penchant for wandering off his own only to end up somewhere he does not want to be in. Even with all these idiosyncrasies, he is extremely personable and has a particularly complimentary nature that easily gains him the friendship and trust of those surrounding him.

Of course, these aspects only hide the complex and determined young man underneath. On the reverse side of his frivolous nature is his considerable shrewdness, which makes him quite capable of reading people and situations. He is particularly observant, taking into consideration even the smallest details of his surroundings in order to better understand and deal with challenges and is not above using cheap tricks or questionable tactics to ensure his own survival. Being singularly ambitious, he has a remarkably tenacious will that allows him to overcome virtually insurmountable obstacles and accept inhuman burdens for the sake of his own ultimate goal. He has a considerable pride that will not stand for having his humanity insulted or condemned by his enemies, but is also capable of shelving his pride if it becomes something that will stand in the way of his objective.

He is very protective of his comrades, and family, refusing to allow any harm to come to them and often deeming their safety more important than his own in spite of his own personal ambitions and goals. He has to be reminded several times that his own safety is something upon which many people depend on and uses his loved ones as his primary motivation when all hope seems lost. As such, he becomes furious when observing those who willingly or remorselessly cast aside their own comrades or brethren and is sickened by the idea of superiors who reject their duty to those who trust them.

History:
Seamus was born into a 2 generation Irish - American family in Chicago, Illinois. His mother was an aspiring Aerospace Engineer, who unfortunately ended up a stay at home mom, and his father was cook at a fairly prominent restaurant, and an avid hunter. Seamus's relationship with his father was a special one, he could be called a daddy's-boy. He would copy his father in every possible way, even finding interest in in the cooking profession. He would regularly spend time in the kitchen, helping his father cook meals although his help wasn't needed. Despite his love for his father, their was one thing that he couldn't get into, hunting. It was funny, he hated killing the animals he would eventually help his father cook. This didn't stop him from joining his father on his regular trips to the forests, finding a duck to kill for dinner the next night, his father even thought him how to shot, although he never used the skill when they went hunting.

As Seamus grew up, his career path became clear, his obvious skill in cooking gained him admonition by even his father bosses. By the time he hit 18, Seamus was working along his father in the same restaurant he grew up with. With parents having another baby on the way, his money was going towards. helping out the family, although his pay was small due to familiarity and other loopholes, he worked their for about 2 years before gaining admission to The Art Institute of Atlanta’s International Culinary School, a prominent school in the city of Atlanta. The family wasted no time moving with their soon, opting to be with him so he didn't stray off his designated path and become irresponsible. Seamus's grades were on point, amazing in fact, despite his grade school track record, he had worked hard in a subject that he loved. By graduation, Seamus already had job offers from the prestigious Bacchanalia Restaurant. At this point, Seamus's life was all planned out, all he needed to do was walk the path.

Other:
- Seamus stands at a whopping 6'1" and weighs about 180 pounds or so. He definitely not muscular, nor is he scrawny, cooking and reading books never did much for his physique. Seamus is lean and tall, made apparent by his height and weight. He has short, dirty blonde hair, that he rarely combs or brushes for reasons even unknown to him.

- He can be called and expert cook despite having no solid working experience. Although this may hold him back some, Seamus can cook a good meal with almost anything edible, maybe.

Personality: Vincent is the kind of person who will be honest in any case, he is a born leader and a exceptional marksman. He seems as if he's a grumpy so and so but he looks out for people to the best of his abilitys. Vincent is easily befriended if you get to know him, he hates reaching out and speaking about his feelings as he had a rough childhood, when speaking about childhood he cries or gets frustrated. This makes him sound emotionally confused but really he is just a man with child issues.

He gets very protective over friends and family.

History: Vincent's home life was rough, his mother died giving birth to Vincent's younger brother Graham, his father had a drinking problem and his sister was paralyzed from the waist down. Vincent had to take care of his siblings as the oldest one without a disability. His father was away drinking his children's education and not coming home till dark. This made times for Vincent and his kin practically impossible, but they over came the odds.

At school Vincent wasn't quiet he was the class clown though he is different now only telling a joke time to time. Everyone seemed to like him, this made school life a breeze but home life was hell, since no one could take care of them Vincent did making his academics drop, he used all sorts of excuses but no luck. When he went to his final year of middle school his father died choking on his own vomit in his sleep. This was sad to Vincent even though he was never there he felt as if his mother would not be happy about what happened to her husband. This stopped Vincent's school life and he couldn't go through the last 3 months of school failing him.

With nothing left to do he join the military going through immense training day and night. He was unfortunately sent home for failing that too. It didn't stop Vincent though, no, he became a regular at a local gym and went to a shooting range once a week, so that one day he could try to be in the military after his horrible and unexpected failure.

Personality: Angry, jaded, perverted, and very very senile; the Mr. Cantrell is not the man to be fooled with. Since he lost his leg, Cantrell had adopted a pessimistic outlook on life, and it had only gotten worse with age. In order to keep his emotions in check and Cantrell from going into sudden outbursts of rage, Cantrell must take a cocktail of drugs every morning and evening. Thanks to his erectile dysfunction and insecurity of said condition, Cantrell often makes comments about his penis. Cantrell will mention his penis almost every time he speaks. That said, Cantrell has adopted a fairly morbid sense of humor.

Even so, Cantrell typically trusts everybody. He thinks himself a little too trustworthy if only as a means of making himself feel better after being let down. When speaking to younger men, he will often degrade them in some way. When speaking to a woman, he will often degrade them in some way. The only exception would be people with rank, and even then his respect for a person is hit or miss. Even so, he will refer to people as sir or ma'am.

History: Born January 28th, 1947 Cantrell was raised by a humble family living the American dream in a small town in Oklahoma. He was raised well by his two parents who were purists about the American dream, at least as far as the young David was concerned. He grew up alongside 3 brothers, all older than he was. The family seemed to have a lot of boys on his father's side. Growing up was fun, for the most part. His father, after being boarded medically boarded from the Army after losing his left leg, had all the time in the world to spend with his family. Many compared Cantrell to his father, but at the time he did not heed their words.

Growing up with a lot of testosterone, Cantrell competed very hard against his brothers. He wasn't the biggest or strongest kid in school, but Cantrell would always try to be. He was rough and tough to the core. Most play revolved around sports which Cantrell loved. When he got in trouble, Cantrell used to be punished with push-ups. When his father realized it wasn't working, he moved onto sit-ups.

When they came of age, the Cantrell brothers all joined the military. His oldest brother commissioned through ROTC into the airforce- not something he particularly liked doing, but it was a nice bid to spite his father who hated airmen; the middle brother joined the army as an infantryman to make his father proud, knowing he was looked down upon a little bit as the middle child; the brother second youngest after David joined the Navy as a SEAL. David had a sense of obligation to join the military. The only question was which branch.

After a year of working, Cantrell eventually decided to join the army after getting into a debate against an anti-war protester. He joined as a combat medic- 91B at the time. Cantrell went to basic training at Fort Benning, then trained as a medic at Fort Sam Houston. His first deployment was to Hanoi, and he had been on several missions in Vietnam since. Strange to say, Cantrell had fun. This was until Cantrell lost his leg to a punji trap, his comrades putting a tourniquet on the leg to stop the flow of poison in his bloodstream and the blood from escaping. The tourniquet was on for too long, and the leg had to be severed otherwise it would have caused harm to Cantrell's liver, leaving him dead.

Out of Highschool, Cantrell married his sweetheart, the girl he took to prom. After he left for training, his girlfriend left him for another man. This was his first divorce. Cantrell met his second wife, the daughter of a migrant worker, in San Antonio while in training. She died in an incident regarding drug cartells. Cantrell's fourth wife was a Vietnamese woman he had met on deployment. She eventually gave birth to his only legitimate son- something Cantrell is still ashamed of. He divorced his wife shortly after his son graduated. Cantrell had been sleeping around with other women ever since.

Cantrell retired as a First Sergeant at the age of 42. He has no regrets. Still, he spent a bulk of his retirement drinking and smoking while hitting on any girl he looked at.

Personality-

Keita, or Kei for short, is the type of person that does not come off as a friendly person at first, but once someone gets to know him, he is a really kind and caring person. Kei is not the type to speak out against others but if the situation requires him to; he does not hesitate to say something. One flaw of his personality is that he is selfless to a fault; basically he will do things for others to the point where he doesn’t realize he needs to help himself. Tying into that, he does not like to ask for help unless he absolutely needs it since he does not like to come off as weak to others. Kei is not the type to give up easily, once he has a goal in mind he does not stray from that goal, which can also be a double edged sword for him.

History-

Kei spent a lot of his childhood in Japan and South Korea. Since his father was Japanese and his mother was South Korean he spent a lot of time going back and forth between the two countries; obviously he spent enough time in both to complete both grade school and lower secondary school. He didn’t keep to himself much as a child, it was the opposite really, wherever he was, he always managed to find himself with a good group of friends, he did get in trouble here and there, but as a kid who didn’t get into some trouble here and there. Although he did get out a lot he found time for himself through playing video games and such. His life was pretty laid back and easy since his family wasn’t strict on him. As a child he did spend a lot of time with his sister so as the years went on they were very close with each other. The day he decided to move away was a hard decision since that would mean leaving his family behind, especially his sister, along with his life basically.

Although it was a hard decision he, in the end, decided to move away. He moved in with some relatives in the States. He also pursued his upper secondary education in the States since he moved there right after finishing his lower secondary education. He enjoyed his time there but as he was coming to his graduation he made his decision to move back to Japan. After a year and a half of post-secondary education, he moved back to Japan to continue his post-secondary education, but that wasn’t the main reason, his main reason was because he missed his family and wanted to be able to see them again. That all changed though as three days before his flight back the outbreak happened, changing his plans forever, and diminishing his hope of getting back to pretty much nothing.

Kei stands at an average 183 cm or 6’0” he weighs out at about 89 kg or 185 lbs. He is somewhat built but not to the point of a body builder. Since he exercised regularly his stamina is above average. Although he exercises regularly he still does not like to get exhausted as it makes him physically sick, so if he can avoid it he will.

Kei is well versed in various martial arts such as Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Kenpo, Kendo and Iaido. He may be well versed but that does not mean he is a master at them all. At most he has mastered only Kendo and Iaido and even then he did not do it long enough to officially master it.

Kei is a decent shot, as long as his target is within a reasonable range he can hit his mark.

Kei knows some basic medical procedures; pretty much stuff that any other person would be able to do as long as the supplies are available.

Kei is a self-proclaimed “amazing” cook but in reality unless it is instant or easily microwavable he is prone to catching it on fire.

Personality: Miles is kind of introverted. He is impulsive, he doesn't talk a lot and he's a big sleepyhead. He gets easily distracted by other things and he has problems with concentrating on things.

History: Miles was born to Natalie Beecher and an unknown father in 2000. He was raised by his uncle and his mother. As a kid, Miles never really missed his father, because Uncle Bertrand filled in that place. As he grew older, he began to develop an interest in historical warfare and swordfighting. He took lessons in fencing and he decided to save up for his own sword. When he was 13, he started to put some interest in his father. The only thing he got out of his mother was that his father was in the same city. At the age of 14, he was finally able to buy a good quality sword himself.

Other: He is longer than most of his peers. He has dark short hair. Miles has a lot of stamina, he is a fast runner and a good climber. He lacks in almost the rest. He is mostly dependant on his mobility and his luck.

Relationships: Her former boyfriend died before the outbreak in a car accident. Ever since she's kept to herself. She has a friend, Jeremy Thomas, whom she talks to every now and then, mainly because the line of work they're in tend to cross.

Family: Alannah comes from a family of six. Three brothers, herself, and her parents. Her family's whereabouts are unknown since they live in Spain and she lost contact with them at the time of the outbreak.

Personality: Alannah is a reserved person. She'd rather remain quiet and unseen than be the center of attention. Especially since her Spanish accent can be very strong at times.

Although she is quiet, it doesn't mean she's going to hold back if something needs to be said. She is a respected and respectful young woman but her temper at times can be a problem.

History: Anna was born in Spain, on an American Naval base, and raised there as long as her father was in the military. Anna's parents split up by the time she was seventeen, and she moved to the states with her mother.

A year after the seperation of her parents, Anna's mother once again returned to Spain to be with her family and Anna stayed in the states to continue her education. The young woman chose to focus on her studies rather than to enjoy her college years like the rest of her colleagues, which is why she seems to act much older than she really is. She managed to get herself a stable job at an animal hospital and graduated with her masters in Veterinary Medicine before the age of 25.

Other: Anna has no tattoos or extravagant piercings. Her hobbies were to stay fit and to help stray animals find homes before the outbreak. Running is not her forte but she can carry heavy objects and swim quite well. She has a paranoia of losing her machete so she tends to keep extra knives on herself at all times.

Appearance wise, Anna is about 5'5" and weighs around 125 lbs. Her brown hair falls in soft curls down to the small of her back but she mainly keeps it up in either a ponytail or a messy bun to keep the hair out of her face.

Jason's Personality is that of a serious computer nerd and is friendly but awkward in social situations. He genuinely likes people and and would try everything in his power to keep those around him safe from harm, but is extremely protective of those he cares for and would go to insane lengths to protect or avenge them.

he is however of a slightly disturbed personality. and has suffered from depression for most of his life, but has learned how to cope and hide it to the point that he seems normal, but it has darkened his view of the world and sometimes regards strangers with a cold calculation. which also gives him an advantage to survival, for he will survive. no. matter. what.

History:
Jason's childhood was a simple up bringing in Colorado with a mother, father and sister. It was a mostly uneventful youth. Jason's father introduced him to games and computers. He grew up immersed in games and computers. In high school he was introduced to science fiction which drove him to devour knowledge about random and disconnected subjects. These subjects ranged from Nano-bot technology to Fast neutron breeder reactors to a space elevator. This went on for many years until he attended a community collage to earn his EMT Basic Certification. The degree never seemed to pan out and he has forgotten much of the medical side of the training since then but remembers the trauma medicine quite well. He then went on to study forensic science during his studies of forensic science he began to accumulate some basic survival gear in the event of an emergency . He enjoyed speculating about a zompocalyse it was always a game, a funny theory and never actually thought it would happen.

during this time the family ran into some money trouble and moved to (Wherever this RP is taking place) while his sister stayed in Colorado to attend school and while his mother traveled a great deal and was in Canada at the time of the outbreak.

Personality: Being a firefighter, JT was initially taught to let go of fear. The fear of heights, the fear of fire, the fear of loss. Fear was no longer necessary in his field, so had to be let it go as though it were disposable. Of course, being afraid was part of human nature, so despite being forced into being absent fear - JT was not always courageous. But he tries to be anyhow and attempts to lead others in that direction. He sees himself as a natural leader, as was his father. JT also has a sort of temper when it comes to taking orders. He climbed the ranks because he hated being a bottom feeder and wanted to be the top dog of the firehouse - and it took effort. He didn't get there by playing around and not doing his work, the guy sweat, bled, and fought for his position. It was the kind of guy he was - not letting anyone take anything away from him.

History: Born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in decent wealth, Jeremy Thomas known as 'JT' was well off after graduating college. With a bachelors in marketing, JT's initial plan was to follow some kind of advertising career. Of course, major events lead to drastic change. At the age of 22 - right after obtaining his certificate - JT's father died in a building fire blocks away from his home. Peter Thomas was Firehouse 27's Fire Chief. JT and his family were informed that in attempt to save a fellow colleague, Peter ran into the burning building minutes before it collapsed on top of him. After the funeral - which was full of neighbors, friends, and even strangers who came to pay their dues - JT decided that he also had to honor the memory of his father. He felt as though he was doing nothing with his life that was classified successful. Therefore, the decision to follow in his father's footsteps sprouted.

Even his grandfather had been a firefighter, and his grandfather's father as well. The only reason JT had not originally followed in that direction was because he feared the thought of dying. He thought he had things to do and places to travel too - blinded by his needs. Eventually it took his father's death to make a man out of the boy. He enrolled about a week after the funeral, starting off as a candidate. He was forced to wash dishes, cook for the 'real' firefighters. He was in charge of keeping the truck spotless and ready to roll - full of supplies and necessities. He was working long hours and for little to no money. It was tough, but he managed.

Time skipping to about two years later, JT managed to get himself in the run to become Lieutenant. He surpassed his competition in the written tests and moved much quicker during the physical exams. Evidently, JT was the man for the job in everyone's eyes. The memory of his dad was what really sprouted his whole journey to join the firehouse, but it later became a part of himself. He found self worth in his job and purpose. He was in charge and overjoyed.

Personality:
John is one of those people who was cursed with resting bitch face. It usually happens when he is deep in thought or just daydreaming. He is somewhat awkward when he first meets anyone due to his borderline autism. He is really friendly and some take it as being hit on, although it is just how he is. Once people get to know him he truly opens up and cracks jokes. People he classifies as friend are just that. He would give his all to help them.

History:
John grew up playing video games. Came out of the womb attached to a Nintendo Entertainment System, obviously a joke. He beat his first Video game when he was two years old or so he was told when he grew older. When his parents were alive they moved around a lot. So besides the fact he is borderline autistic it was hard for him to form friendships. Possibly because he moved around too much and lost hope in that.

As he grew older he found that he loved the internet and could find anything on it. Besides all the porn he looked at for countless hours he looked into survival guides. Mostly because after his parents died leaving him alone and with barely enough money to get by… so he lived his life with friends who loved him. He would clean up the house, watch their animals and protect the homestead in their absence.

Eventually he got a job thanks to his friend Rip pumping gas at the Wolf Creek General Store and Texaco. At first he was slow to pick up everything but eventually got the hang of it. He would lightly jog around to pump the gas or propane. He really opened up to new people and some customers were even became regulars. They would come through every three days to a week. John would listen to their stories as he pumped their gas.

In the end he was let go because his boss had hired on family so John used his saved up monies to move.

Even though Tom has PTSD, the therapy he received helped it go down where he's social to other people. Apart of his training and discipline, Tom does his best to keep calm and act quickly, on the right decisions in the most intense scenarios. He's protective of other people, and will do anything to keep them safe from harm. Tom has times where he can be emotional, from his PTSD where he blames himself, such as those whom died in battle with him. His PTSD involves him acting aggressive provoked by someone whom he feels threatening him, he can lose control and attack somebody especially if someone picks a fight with him.

History:

Thomas “Tom” Murphy was born December 20th 1983. An only child he grew up in Ohio with his mother Maria Jane Murphy and his father Timothy Murphy. Tom’s father would be a very inspirational figure to him. Timothy Murphy was Vietnam War vet, unlike most men drafted he volunteered as Tom’s grandfather Liam Murphy whom was also a Marine fighting in WWII on The Pacific Front. Tom had always looked to his family. His father and grandfather very much played a role in his future after High School.

Tom graduated high in 2002. September 11th had happened when he started school his senior year, he carried on his father and grandfathers legacy becoming a Marine. He was immediately brought to boot camp, and underwent intense training for many months. Soon he was stationed in Afghanistan.

Afghanistan was an extremely hostile land, especially in the early stages of Taliban occupation. Tom had fought in bloody missions against the Taliban, losing too many friends at the battlefield some he knew since boot camp. There were horrors that he cannot describe to anyone to this day. One mission he was nearly captured, his helicopter had been shot down only him and two other men survived the crash. Trapped in the wreckage as an only fortress against attacking Taliban whom seemed to surround them. Tom and the other two fought them off until rescue arrived to support them. Tom and the other two Marines were recognized for their endurance and bravery given the Medal of Honor.

In 2007 Tom had finally came back to his family in Ohio. His father had been proud of his son, he grew up to be a Marine just like him, it almost seemed like a tradition in the making. All seemed better for him to be finally home, away from warfare. But it all changed for him, he found out the week after his mother and father died in a car accident. Tom’s parents were the only people he had in life, and their deaths devastated him. He started going into a depression, not only thinking about his parents but his friends during the war dying gruesome deaths by The Taliban. It was difficult for Tom, but seeking therapy helped him somewhat ease his pain, to function in society. Tom had to get away from it all moving to Savannah Georgia, he found a new life becoming employed working at a hunting store, helping make money and make him at least social. But the pain it still lingers to this day. 2013 Tom will fight a war against not the living but the dead.

History:
quiet idyllic family life. Family often went to church and she went to school. nothing out of the ordinary in her simple life.
The Church:
Sarah's mother brought her to the church while her father had to go do something. there where several families who boarded up the church with the pastor, some of them had weapons. the goal was to wait until the authorities came to rescue them

"Here they come!" shouted the pastor

the zombies battered down the doors and the fight began, but the families where not really prepared for the battle. after unloading hundreds of rounds into the zombies only a few fell from lucky shots to the head. some of the fighters where killed

"Don't let them near the children" someone shouted during the battle.

a zombie managed to slip through the fighters and attacked Sarah, its head was bashed in and Sarah's mother picked her up and took her out through the back and told her to run, and ran back to fight the zombies and give her daughter a chance. as Sarah ran out of the church she heard a voice shouting at her, she ran to him.
