[IC] The Necromancer and Her Doomknight –[rivaan & Silver Fox]

“We are taking this one then, have it prepared for riding right away.” Naisha stated to the man and he quickly dispatched one of the workers to prepare the red horse for Alex. She doubted the horse was going to give them any problems, this horse practically was begging Alex to take it.

Now Nai turned to the other four horses the man recommended for them. She approached them and the thing she thought would happen, did indeed happen. All the four big strong horses began to cower and back away as much as they can from her. So the four of the best horses in here couldn’t stand her presence… was it because her darkness was much more overpowering than Alex at current or was it because of the after presence the demonic boons left… ‘Will I have to create myself a skeleton steed?’ The vampire wondered, it wasn’t going to take much time though it was dead giveaway what she was.

It was in that moment that she noticed a jet black horse that while smaller than Alex’s, still looked as a mount of significant quality. What’s more it’s eyes were focused on Nai to the point, the vampire wondered if it was planning her demise. “ What about that one?” She asked the seller and pointed at the black horse.” Ahhh… that one. We got it a few days ago by a man who wanted to quickly make some money. We are still having a lot of troubles with that one. It refuses to listen to anyone.”

Having heard that, the necromancer quickly walked near it. It’s eyes were still gazing at her, and then revealed a lot of intelligence. “ What are you exactly…?” Nai asked as a joke as she was right in front of it. The mount’s eyes flared up for a moment… really flared up! As fire appeared in it’s eyes it also blew some through it’s nostrils.” What in the bloody hells?!” Naisha exclaimed and jumped backwards in surprise. “ I was just about to mention it… that’s a demonic horse.” The man from the stables said.” It appears to have been possessed or corrupted by demonic energy at some point. It won’t be inferior to the red one, but this one is impossible to control. We lost a lot of money when we bought it without realizing what it was. It was such a fine steed too… now I will have to call the knights to purge it.”

“I will take it.” Nai said to the man’s great surprise. When he heard it, he pretty much immediately said the original price he bought it at as he was glad he could at least restore his investment in it. When the vampire tried to reach with her hand to touch it, the demonic horse tried to bite her. She managed to pull her hand in time to avoid it’s teeth.

“What do you think?” The vampire asked her knight.” Shall we bet on if I will be able to tame it?”

Alex grinned brightly, stroking the red hare's nose and watched it snort before the man started to ready the horse with a saddle for riding. Looking to Naisha as a horse caught the vampire's eye, Alex chuckled a little in amusement before glancing to Naisha. "Mhmm course you choose the demonic one. Quite feisty too. Think you can take it eh? Alright we'll see how that goes." the red head teased as she poked the necromancer's cheek.

When the man returned with the readied red horse, Alex beamed as the horse nudged her in the back with its snout before turning its head toward the demonic horse. Neighing at it, hoofing the ground with its right leg. Alex watched as the man pushed a harness and saddle to her.

"You can ready that thing. Rather not get bitten or beaten to death." he grumbled, making Alex roll her eyes before looking at Naisha.

"So. Guess we can start the bonding sessions." she joked.

“Stop it… or I will jump on you for a piggy back ride!” Nai pouted slightly annoyed. She didn’t really hate it when Alex poked her cheek, but it was distracting when she was trying to win a staring contest with the demonic horse.

As the man handed the saddle and the harness to Alex, Nai smirked, still not breaking eye contact with the horse. Both were narrowing their eyes and making slight moves with their legs. With a cry the horse charged her and Nai quickly used her advanced reflexes of a vampire to jump on it’s bag without a saddle and she quickly wrapped her arms around it’s neck to attempt to stay on it.

“Don’t worry… I’m okey!” She shouted as the horse was running and jumping all around in attempts to throw her off. “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” She shouted as the horse nearly threw her off actually. This thing packed hell of a kick… She was glad she decided to jump on it, if she tried to stop it’s kicks, she may have ended with broken bones even though her vampire body was a lot sturdier than any human’s.

“Time for you to give up and obey me, horse!” She shouted and began tightening her grip around it’s neck in attempt to cut it’s breathing so it can tire faster. These creatures usually gave up to superior being which usually meant someone who can beat them. Nai could kill it right away with her magic, but she wanted to ride it! Still even with it’s flow of air cut, this thing continued to run and jump like before… though there was a very slight indication her plan was working, just not as well as she hoped to." Prepare that saddle... WHOAAAAAA" She began saying, but was cut short when the horse kicked so hard with it's back legs that the vampire nearly flew straight ahead, luckily she managed to hold on. Good thing she was in these adventuring cloths. If she still wore her robes, she wasn't going to be able to.

"After years of you doing that since we were kids, I'm kinda used to getting ridden by you. Not that I mind or anything." Alex chuckled with amusement at the threat, watching Naisha have a stare down with the demonic horse. Never thought she would ever see something like this. It was kinda odd and kinda amusing. Glancing to the red horse who seemed to be watching with a soft snort of either amusement, or just snickering at how ridiculous this was. Thinking for a moment, Alex tried to think up a name while Naisha had her staring contest.

Just then, the demonic horse charged at Naisha whom quickly jumped on its back. Riding it bare back, or clinging onto its neck. One of the two. Alex's nonchalant stance grew tense and she moved to follow until Naisha called how she was alright. The undead woman stood straight and crossed her arms over her chest. Watching as the horse kicked and ran about with Naisha still clinging on. The red head had a little difficultly not bolting in and dragging Naisha to safety. Alex was just so used to Naisha being frail, it was like built in instinct. But Naisha didn't seem to need as much protecting. But she'd keep a look out. Just in case. Alex was Naisha's knight after all.

Whistling as she watched and stroked the red horse's neck, Alex grinned a little. "Well... My little Nai turned into such a little badass." she laughed a bit, listening to the red horse let out a whinny. "Mhmm I think I'll call you.... Val." she grinned before perking as Naisha yelled to get the saddle ready, watching as Naisha was flung foreword by a massive buck, but managed to still hang on.

"Well, Val. I'm going in." Alex said before bolting foreword, moving quickly before leaping. Smacking the saddle on the horse, quickly landing on the ground and reaching and strapped it in. But the demon horse didn't seem to enjoy that and the red head was delt hard blow by hooves as the black horse bucked. Hitting against her chest and launching her back, landing flat on her back and skidding a bit. It didn't hurt so much, since she was armored and still... Well undead. But it did hurt and ache a bit. Damn thing hit the injury she died from.

"Bah shit." Alex grumbled as she sat up.

“Whoaaaaaaaa!!!” Nai shouted as the horse kicked Alex with such force that the knight flew backwards a very good distance at that too. Considering Alex was quite big and that armor she was wearing wasn’t too light. What was more interesting was the fact the horse seemed to not have even felt the kick. If a normal horse had kicked a doom armor like that, it’s hooves might have cracked or even the bones. This one just continued to jump and kick around, while Nai was still holding it in choke hold, at least now she had a saddle to use.

“Alex, you okey!?” The vampire asked as the horse finally began to calm down from the lack of oxygen and it slowly laid on the ground.” Phew… good thing it didn’t kick me…” She whistled when the horse was finally completely on the ground and unable to move anymore. “ Listen horse, you are mine from here on!” The vampire commanded.” I’m stronger than you and the only reason you still move is because I need a ride.” She stated and looked into it’s eyes again. Then she moved a hand and stroked his head, before finally sinking her nails into it’s skin and leaning close to his ears.” Did I make myself clear?” She whispered in his ears before the horse’s body relaxed completely and it nodded in submission.

“I’ve never seen someone do something like that! Are you two adventurers?” The man who sold the horses asked.” Are you some kind of or martial artist?” The man asked, since Nai wore no armor or swords. She giggled at the fact she was taken for a fighter. Well she was able to fight now, but still considered herself a spellcaster.” Not exactly.” She replied and looked at Alex.

“Let’s go! We have a sunken tower to explore!” She said with a huge grin to the doom knight. The man next to them looked at the two women in shock. To a small backwater town like this adventurers passing by was a rare thing. It usually happened exactly for the sunken tower, but never before had he seen someone tame a demonic horse or survive a hit from one like it was nothing.

“Come on, horsie, stand up.” Nai commanded as the demonic mount quickly stood up and allowed the vampire to get on it’s back.” As for your pay, here take this.” Naisha said and tossed the man a small ruby. It was going to be more than enough to cover the costs for two horses of this caliber. What’s more this was all taken from the vampire lord so Nai felt nothing from spending it, considering how that man loved his riches. She totally should have had bound his soul to an item and drag him around so he could witness his riches being wasted and his “fame” disappearing as his name was forgotten. Too bad she didn’t think of it sooner.

"I'm all good. That horse can kick though. Good thing I'm heavily armored." Alex answered her Necromancer's concern as she stood, rolling her shoulders a bit and twisting here odd to make sure everything was fine. It would take time getting used to this body. That kicked didn't hurt even though her mind registered that it should of. She could probably get her arm cut off and not really feel too much.

Walking over as Naisha subdued the demonic horse, Alex grinned as the stable owner questioned them and the tall woman just shrugged. "Mhmm basically. I'm the knight and Miss twinkle toes here is my little Empress." Alex smirked, playfully ruffling the top of Naisha's head before. Nodding in agreement at the mention of going to the sunken tower.

"Sounds good to me!" the Doom Knight grinned before mounting the red horse and started off on their adventure. Val giving a neigh and snort as the large horse trotted along.

The two traveled for some time, only stopping to give the horses a mild break. The sunken tower seemed pretty far, and after a couple of days, they came upon a forest to stop for the horses to drink. Alex dismounted and stretched out her tall body, glancing to Naisha.

"I'll be back. Going to take a look around the area." the red head said before starting to walk deeper into the forest. Her large armor clunking against the ground. Her body probably always was suited for heavy armor, but she didn't used to wear it all the time cause it slowed her movement. But she didn't mind it. Made her feel a bit powerful.

As she walked, she blinked as she took a step and felt something wrap tightly against her ankle and before she could react, she was pulled up in the air. Hanging upside down as her body flailed a bit and she growled curses. "Hey what the hell?!" Alex barked angrily as she reached for her undead sword to cut at the rope that held her ankle before pausing at the rustles in the bushes. Blinking a bit as some women in scantily clad armor revealed themselves. What surprised Alex the most was their height. They were just about as tall as her. The red head couldn't help but stare, having never seen another woman reach her height, especially several.


One woman, perhaps dead even in height, with short dirty blonde hair that was a bit disheveled and carrying a spear and sword. Grey eyes looking Alex over with a unmoving serious look, pointing the spear toward's the red head's throat. Alex couldn't help but think these woman were a bit similar to herselg. Having a wild sort of beauty to them. Perhaps like seeing a wild Chocobo running along the plains freely.

But Alex had little time to think of this as Alex growled. "Hey! Let me down you dumb bimbos!" Alex shouted, snapping her left hand on the spear as she forcefully pulled, bringing the warrior woman foreword only to backhand her. While the right hand raised the undead sword and sliced the rope. Freeing herself as she landed with a large thud before getting up quickly, drawing her newly acquired beast sword.

Glaring all around her at the other women, but they didn't move, seeming to be just watching as the dirty blonde woman swung her blade at Alex who quickly parried with the undead sword. Dodging left as the blonde jabbed with her spear, Alex swung the beast sword horizontally at the woman who jumped and landed her toes on the blade. Moving to jab her sword downward's at Alex's skull. Quickly the Doom Knight slammed her undead sword against the blonde woman's incoming blade, forcing it out of her hand before slashing upward to knock the blonde off balance of her beast sword. The blonde front flipped over the Doom Knight before turning and jabbing the spear just as Alex turned and stabbed both swords forward. Crossing the swords just over the attacker's throat, causing to slight slices over the tanned skin as the spear lightly sliced against Alex's own throat.

They both glared at one another for a moment in that position before the blonde seemed to relax, returning her spear to her side in a vertical position as she stood up straight. Her serious expression still there but there was a hint of respect in her grey eyes and a slight amused smile played on her lips.

"Impressive Sister. What tribe do you hail from?" The blonde woman asked, as the other warriors seemed to nod in agreement.

Alex blinked in confusion at the sudden change of mood, slowly lowering her weapons. "Um... None? I'm just a adventurer." she answered cautiously.

“Have fun!” Nai replied as Alex began walking away.” Don’t forget to be careful!” She added, but wasn’t sure if the redhead heard her. Alex had the tendencies to not really pay attention sometimes and walk straight into traps. She had seen it happen a few times in their old world, so she hoped that didn’t repeat here… not that it mattered much. As a doom knight, Alex’s body was incredibly hard to destroy now, Nai didn’t gather all the expensive materials for that armor the knight was wearing just for nothing. The necromancer had to make sure that her friend won’t leave her a second time.

As she was taking care of the horses, brushing, taking off the saddles for a while and etc… She noticed a few presences sneaking up on her. It wasn’t even from her vampire senses, those were quite useless during the day, she managed to hear what was almost impossible to discern sound from someone’s sneaking. Whoever it was, to be able to move so silently inside a forest of all things, showed they had great skills.

The stalkers appeared to have noticed they were found out, so an arrow quickly shot from one of them, aiming at the vampire’s leg. The strength behind the arrow and it’s speed were almost insane, there was no wait to really block or dodge it with her bare hands. The arrow, passed right through her left leg, just under the edge of her skirt.

“Surrender and you will not be harmed!” She heard a woman’s voice as two huge women appeared from the forest. They were not any smaller than Alex… ‘Wait… amazons?’ The vampire thought and looked around.” Heh… I will have to decline. You see, my friend will return soon.” Nai said, and reached to the arrow stuck through her leg, breaking it and pulling the pieces from the limb. The wound barely bled and the necromancer looked at the women, her red eyes, locking into theirs.” I will have to return your ultimatum at you~” She whistled and the two amazons looked at each other, slightly smiling and turning back to her.” Vampire… great! This will be a worthy fight then. Take your weapon, vampire! We will capture you and if you want to avoid that, you’d better defeat us!” The amazons replied, one pulling her sword and the other a spear.

“Gladly~” Nai whistled once again, and swung with her empty right arm, as her necromantic staff appeared in her hand.” I’m also a magic user, so do take care.” The necromancer stated and quickly hurled a few wind arrows at the amazons, who in turn dodged them and dashed at her, slashing with their weapons. Nai originally was a physical fighter as a child in her world before her body fell sick. Now her body was beyond healthy so she spend some time, sharpening her skills. She dodged the spear and with a wave of her staff, deflected the sword swing. Following that, the skirmish between the three turned into a close quarters battle, as Nai’s enemies were wielding their weapons with great skill and dodging her spells by a few millimeters. The three of them were dancing around the forest without any real victor coming out on top. Since before Nai’s body was so weak she had great practice with refining her movement to use as little excess moves as possible. That was all paying out now as she was barely keeping up with the attacks of the amazons. It was time to change the plan…

“Flaming empress, heed my call, grand me power to defeat my enemies!” As the spell was cast, a flaming magic circle formed around the vampire. Her right had was quickly enveloped by the fire and a few moments later, in her hand, she held a long fiery sword. Banishing her staff back to the magic chest, Naisha swung the sword in her hands at the amazons. She had not felt this sensation for over a decade, since their last battle in Spira, where she last used her limit. Her in this world, her limit just did not work. Instead she managed to use magic to pull from the power of her summons and use it herself. Like summoning the Flaming empress’s sword. The personalities of her summons also vanished from her mind when she was turned into vampire. She still held all their memories so, she was more than adept enough in swordplay.

Alex blinked as she watched these women seem to carefully examine her closely. The red head couldn't help but be curious over them. We're these the so called amazons that she was often mistaken for? In Spira, they were mere legends said to be have been extinct for thousands of years. Seeing actual ones now seemed like a folk tale become reality. The way they moved and fought as well. It was no wonder people sh't ought she was a Amazon. Their strength and skill and speed were incredible, despite how big they were, they knew how to handle themselves. If Alex was not a skillful fighter herself, she'd probably have a lot more trouble.

The blonde woman sheathed her sword but kept her spear in hand as she stepped closer to the red head until their chests just about touched. Alex narrowed her emerald gaze as she watched the grey eyes examine her. Before blinking as two strong hands held her face. Turning it slightly as the blonde examined her. Alex felt herself bristling uncomfortably but was unsure what to do in this particular situation. They had stopped trying to fight her and just seemed more curious.

"Mhmm a undead? Shame, seems you were quite pretty as living. You must have a master nearby. One who quite preserved as much of the original beauty your living self had." The blonde hummed, brushing a finger along the large scar across Alex's face.

"You're battle scars are quite impressive as well." she murmured.

"Hey I'm not a pretty toy you can look over Ya know?" Alex growled, shifting a bit and trying to lean away uncomfortably, but this woman's grip was quite strong. Again, it did remind Alex of her own abnormal strength. At least when alive.

After a moment of examination, the blonde grinned a cocky grin and gave a approving hum. "A fine Amazonian warrior, pretty skilled in combat and not a bad body, you'd make a fine concubine." she seemed to announce, the others nodding in agreement.

Staring for a moment, Alex trying to process what exactly this crazy lady meant, she stiffened as sudden lips pressed against her own and she instantly reeled, stumbling and retreating a few steps back. "Whoa whoa whoa whoa! The hell lady?! I appreciate the compliments but no!" Alex shouted, blushing furiously, body shaking at the unusual predictiment.

The blonde woman simply chuckled in amusement. "Now now warrior, you must have traveled long and must be curious. Our Queen would most certainly like to see you." she said.

"Uh yeah sure, let me just go Uh, go see how my friend is doing yeah." Alex said before turning and heading back to where she left Naisha and the horses.

When she returned, she found that Naisha seemed to be fighting a bunch of more of the throut of tall women. "Oh.. Guess they found you too." Alex stated before stiffening as arms wrapped around her neck from behind as the blonde examined the red head's apparent companion.

"Ah... Another woman. Smaller.. But seems to be strong as well. Take it this is the master." she mused.

With a shout, the vampire dashed towards the amazons, slashing horizontally with all her strength, which turned out more than enough to push the huge women if Nai had good stable ground as while she had a lot of strength now, since she lacked mass compared to amazons, if they clashed on unstable ground, their sheer mass would have meant that the vampire would be the one pushed.

“Huaaaaaaaaaaa!” Nai shouted again, doing an upwards slash at one of the amazons, throwing her in the air. But before she could deal a blow that makes sure the woman is out of the fight, the other amazons dashed in, making sure she couldn’t. This was getting annoying since she didn’t really wanted to kill any of them and they also seemed to mostly be trying to disarm or capture her and maybe deal enough damage to make that easier since her vampire body was durable. Some of them also had pondering expressions, probably wondering how was a vampire walking under the light.

“Ahh yeah they did…” The vampire replied as she heard Alex, but didn’t turn as she had amazons to deal with.” They are such a pain to subdue if not wanting to kill any of them *sigh*” Nai added and finally got a look at her knight. Her shock was too great react for a moment as she lost control of her strength and slashed at the sword coming for her, blowing the amazon wielding it, at a nearby tree. The amazon still moved but held her leg, must have broken it at the impact.

Ignoring all other attackers, Nai dashed at Alex, sword first at the woman who held her arms around the knight’s neck. Nai was fast and the other didn’t react in time, she may have had taken some serious injuries to her arms. Nai quickly pulled Alex by the hand towards her.” GET LOST, YOU…” Nai started shouting a lot of mean words at the amazon, from whom she just took Alex away from. The vampire was indeed small compared to the other women present at the place, but her voice was currently shouting loud enough to cause ears to hurt. Not to mention her choice of words was not something she had previously ever used back in Spira.

“ALEX IS MINE!!!” She shouted, hissing at the amazons in anger, waving her sword in their direction.

Alex chuckled at the comment on their diffuclty and nodded in agreement. "Well if they are anything like me, of course they're tough." she said as she tried to pull away from the blonde Amazon as Naisha continued her little fight. Alex wasn't exactly sure how she became a attractive object for these amazons but she wasn't sure how wthe felt about it other than discomfort.

Just when Naisha looked toward her, Alex blinked as she saw the look of shock on her face and her reaction becoming uncontrolled as she basically flung one amazon into a tree and possibly broke her leg. Watching Naisha bolt over, slashing her sword at the blonde amazon's arms who quickly pulled them away, managing to be fast enough to only end up with slight cuts from the sudden attack. Alex blinked as Naisha forcefully pulled the tall red head closer, starting to shout rather vulgar language and waving her sword at the other tall women around them. Hissing at them like some fluffed up angry cat. The red head couldn't help but blink in surprise at Naisha's reaction.

Usually, it was Alex who held the most vulgarly, at least back in Spira. Naisha was always... A bit tempered like the red head but not as bad. It was quite a surprise to see such a reaction from her and being protective over the red head. Alex was used to the reversal. Not that Alex minded. It was kinda cute and sweet. Knowing Naisha was quite possessive over Alex. Course her screaming was surprising just as loud as Alex's or even more so than usual.

The blonde blinked her grey eyes in mild surprise, perhaps not expecting such a over the top reaction but simply grinned as she minorly rubbed her arms. "Ah you really are a tough little woman. You don't look it, but I see you're quite the domineering one. Interesting." the blonde mused, before her grey eyes turned to Alex.

"Ah so you're name is Alex? Like Alexandria perhaps? Fitting name. Pretty but strong." she mused before looking to Naisha with a bemused smirk. Almost a silent challenge Alex didn't really understand. "Awe I can see why you want her all to yourself. Big tall and tough, yet somehow she's quite soft to the touch. And tasty even for a undead." The blonde mused making Alex twitch and shiver before she quickly wrapped her strong arms around Naisha in order to comfort and contain her from blowing up the place. Considering how mad she currently was, she probably would rip someone's head off.

"I am Neoania of the Muyme Tribe. A pleasure to meet fine warriors. Seems both of you have proven yourselves worry and I'm sure our Queen would like to meet you. Won't you pay the Muyme Tribe a visit, adventurers?" Neonania asked.

Nai was angry growling at the blond amazon who appeared to have a thing for Alex. Something the vampire wasn’t going to just let happen… “ I will give you ‘interesting’… I will show you how interesting your broken arms are…” She snapped, shouting at the amazon. Who gave her the right to hug Alex like that, Nai had heard about amazon’s preferences and she knew well enough Alex was like their perfection for a partner.

The vampire’s eye began twitching as she heard what the woman said. At this very moment, she did not care about keeping anyone alive anymore. Her magic erupted into her body as the additional mana, allowed her magical sword to increase it’s power and it’s magic covered her arms, giving them the burning armor of the Flaming Empress. The fire didn’t cause any harm to her or Alex, but it exerted heat to everything else. She was just about to jump on the blond amazon, when she felt Alex’s arms around her, holding her tightly. “Alex, let me go! I’m going to teach her a lesson!!!” She shouted, but the arms weren’t letting her go.

“Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr….” She felt so angry that if her knight wasn’t holding her, Nai was going to jump at the amazon woman and probably rip her to pieces if she had the chance to do so. Now she basically invited them to visit the amazon queen… which meant even bigger problem. Still Nai wondered if Alex may actually want to visit them. She haven’t really met any other women like herself before…

“Alex, let me go, I promise not to kill that one, despite the increasingly stronger urge to do so…” She said, her eyes focused on that Neoania woman. When the hold on her lessened, the vampire quickly turned and jumped on Alex’s neck, going in for a kiss. She wasn’t going to let that woman have the last kiss on Alex’s lips… “ If you want to go visit them… we will go, but I’m not letting you alone with any of them!” She said, giving the blond angry looks. She was sure the Queen was also going to try to get Alex. Nai had no real way to know it, but she felt it down to her bones.

Alex only held Naisha closer as the Necromancer struggled and screamed, demanding to be let go so the vampire could basically rip the blonde Amazon to pieces. The red head hugged her closer. As she finally calmed down, Alex blinked as Naisha promised not to kill anyone so the red head slowly released her grip over the vampire. Blinking a bit as Naisha suddenly turned and jumped on the taller woman's neck and going in for a kiss.

Blinking in surprise, Alex instinctevly leaned closer and closed the distance, brushing their lips together and humming happily at the familiar feeling. She could feel a slight glare on them from the blonde woman but Alex paid it no heed. When Naisha pulled away to speak, Alex had to think for a moment. Her emerald green eyes glancing toward the other tall women. Though most of her was satisfied just continuing their adventure together, the red head couldn't help but feel curiousity over these amazons.

For the short time they've met them, Alex could see similarities between herself and them. And as someone who never knew who she was or where she came from, it made her curious. She always thought she had just accepted that she was a orphan, without family or never finding out her possible origin.. Yet perhaps even all this time, she couldn't help but be curious.

Alex smiled at Naisha's words and kissed her forehead gently. "Thanks Nai. Gotta say, you're pretty hot when you're protective of me." she chuckled a bit.

Neoania huffed but grinned as she turned and started walking. "Well then... Follow me lovely." she winked, swaying her hips as she walked along innocently, Alex blinked a bit before grabbing the horses reigns then followed, her other arm wrapped around the vampire.

As they kissed, Nai’s smile grew at the reaction of the blond amazon. The necromancer knew Alex was hers, but still couldn’t help but feel jealousy at the way the blond woman acted. Especially when she implied she kissed the deathknight… Nai felt so good when she jumped and kissed Alex, what’s more when Alex actually expressed happiness at it. The vampire felt superiority to the blond amazon~

“…!!!” The vampire didn’t really reply to Alex’s statement, but she knew that if she was alive, it was her face that was going to turn bright red this time. While Alex went with the flow earlier she never really said that she found the vampire attractive. It was obvious she did, but actually hearing it, did some damage to Nai so to say.


“I never realized there was an amazon tribe in this area…” The vampire said to the knight.” I’ve passed through here a few times, but never really stumbled into any amazons and they never really bothered us so I never even knew one was here.”

“Keep attention and be careful when we get to their village.” Nai whispered to Alex.” They would love to have you and I’m not going to let them!” She said, throwing an angry look at the blond amazon. Though there was also the case with not really angering the queen which may turn ugly if the queen asks to have Alex and Nai wasn’t just going to let that happen.

Alex looked at Naisha's stunned expression and Alex couldn't help but glance away and rub the back of her head shyly. Now that she thought of it, perhaps she hadn't said too much on what she thought of her best friend attractive wise since... Their development in their relationship. Not like Naisha didn't know but she supposed in situations like these, saying the words held deeper meaning. The red didn't recall any reaction back in Spira, that she knew of at least. Or before she died.

"Maybe they're new around the area or just are a traveling tribe? Or maybe didn't feel like dealing with vampires?" Alex suggested as they walked, following behind the blonde as others walked around them. At the whisper, Alex blinked a little at the warning and couldn't help but chuckle.

"I don't really understand why. Maybe they're just curious of someone who kinda looks like them? You're much cuter. Ya know, even when your about to melt someone's face off." Alex said, obviously oblivious that quite a few amazons were looking at her. The red head was just used to not being attractive to most, so didn't find herself as such.

"But hey, think of it this way. If they get their paws on me, they might make me dress like them. Then I'd really fit the Amazon look. I'll have to get your opinion." Alex grinned as she looked over a few of the amazon's attire. Which wasn't a lot. Just enough to cover decency.

Neoania rolled her eyes and smirked. "Funny, I was going to ask if you were willing to trade your warrior, Bloodsucker. Doesn't seem you'll give her up too easily however." she said in disappointment as she weaved through the forest before coming along some stone walls. The gate opening for them, they entered a village, many other tall women roaming about. Several sparring, others brandishing weapons of all sorts, quite a few even making them.

Alex couldn't see a single man, perhaps some rumors were true then. Quite a few citizens looked toward them to see what was going on and eyed the two strangers. Some muttered and whispered, some chuckled. The red head glanced around in examination as they were led through the village to what looked to be biggest building of the village. Probably where there Queen resided. The guards opened the tall doors as they neared, and as Alex passed through the door, she looked up a bit.

It was odd for the door frame to be quite a bit away from her head. She was used to having to duck under doorways. So this was different, not a bad touch.

"My Queen, we have visitors from the outside. A Deathwalker and a Bloodsucker. One seems to be a sister. Both fight well." Neoania introduced, giving a sweet smile towards Alex, who shyly glanced away.

"Awe well not so sure on the sister part. I'm not really a Amazon. I think. I'm not from a tribe or anything at least." Alex clarified.

“Well, amazons prefer women who are more like themselves in general and as you said you do fit the amazon look…” The vampire stated, looking at her knight. She really had to get her a pair of amazon clothing! Alex was going to be a perfect fit for one and one hell of a treat for the eyes.

“It really would be nice to see you dressed like one…” Nai muttered as she was indeed tempted by the idea. Now the question was how to convince the amazons to lend them the clothes as no doubt, they will ask for something in return.

“Grrrr…!” Nai snapped at the blond amazon when she mentioned trading Alex. Nai didn’t do anything besides glare and growl at the woman.” I’m not giving her up for anything!” She replied, full of frustration. That woman was getting on her nerves.

When they finally reached the amazon village, Alex and Nai seems to have become quite the attraction for the ladies living there. Many turned to look at them, and whisper to each other about the visitors. Nai didn’t really pay them much attention, but she did like the town. It had a certain charm to it, she could see herself living in a place like this, but not now. She wanted to explore the world together with Alex~ There was one thing that she felt uneasy about this village though. She felt even smaller than usual. Nai wasn’t really short with her 1.73m height, but among all the amazons and the building made to fit them, she felt small.

As they entered the biggest building and the blond woman presented them to the queen, Nai couldn’t help herself, but dislike how she was just presented like a simple bloodsucker. Not that she wasn’t one, but still… Sometimes she regretted not having a living body, but the fact she could move normally was more than enough to help her forget her regrets. Still there was a lot of room for improvement in her current situation. Maybe she could find a way to restart her internal organs even if she didn’t need them now. She wanted to be able to eat normal food and taste it. Same with Alex, the red head liked her meals and Nai was thinking on a way to make it so that she can enjoy them once gain.

Snapped away from her thought, the vampire quickly looked around the room to see the amazon queen. Despite her reservations about coming here since many amazons will want Alex, Nai too was curious about the warrior women who lived here.

Alex chuckled a little, humming thoughtfully. Unsure how to feel to be wanted by many giant women like her. Perhaps unsure yet a little honored. But she was much more than satisfied just being wanted by Naisha and being only for her. Plus, it felt quite better seeing Naisha being possessive over the red head. As Naisha snapped at the blonde for the mention of trading Alex, the undead wrapped a arm around the vampire's waist.

"Awe don't worry. I won't leave you Nai. You're the prettiest girl I've ever known, I'd be crazy to leave." Alex grinned before looking to see the Queen introduced, the thrown draped over in silks before pulling apart by a guard on either side.

A tall woman, even a few inches taller than Alex, wearing the what looked like a thin leather corset that covered the chest and wore thin armor around the lower region with a white skirt and a red flowing cape. Armor covering the arms and wore a necklace and crown, a spear in hand, and had long wavy Crimson hair and clear lilac colored eyes.



"Queen Karette of the Haunted Beast." Neoania spoke, crushing her fists together, making a loud thunderous sound and gave a slight bow. As did the other Amazons.

The Queen glanced to Neoania before looking at the two guests. She stood from her seat before elegantly walking closer despite her tall stature, moving with dignity and grace. Her tanned face both elegant and serious, holding both the experience of a war worned warrior and the wisdom of a leader. Alex blinked a little, standing a little straighter as the Queen neared. The presence of this woman feeling quite... Strong she supposed would be the closest word for it.

Simply looking and examining these two guests she had, the Queen looked at each of them, though did look at Alex a little longer. "Not often do your kind roam these lands. Especially with a conscious undead companion. Quite the strong will on both parts to pull such a thing. From where, do you hail from?" the queen asked.

“Agh…” Nai made a surprised and uncomfortable noise as she sensed the queen’s presence. The ruling amazon was indeed incredibly beautiful woman, but for the vampire’s eyes she was still lacking in comparison with Alex. The presence she gave was what irked the necromancer though. Naturally Karette gave of a feeling of dignity which was suitable thing for a queen, but she also had this strong feeling as if you were staring at a powerful beast. The queen was indeed the strongest of all the amazon present in this village at this point in time. A shiver went down the vampire’s spine as something told her that if that woman decided to attack them, Nai wasn’t going to be able to react at all. The amazons in the woods earlier were already able to completely dodge her target spells and an AOE was going to harm her and Alex!

Managing to shake off her own feeling of uneasiness, Nai blinked and slightly bowed as the queen neared them. She was a ruler after all so it was only fitting to show manners.” My name is Naisha, your highness.” Nai said, leaving Alex to present herself.

“We hail from another world…” The necromancer replied with grim voice. The memories of their final moments in Spira weren’t something that was easy to handle. Their end was an especially violent one.” When we appeared here, we traveled for a while, surviving day by day. Eventually we were ambushed by vampires in a mountain a about week – week and a half by foot from here. We were overwhelmed by their numbers back then. They killed my friend and captured me. I froze her body with the last bits of my power to protect it from everything. Soon after they turned me into one of them… I spend the following decade learning necromancy and plotting my revenge. About a week or so back, I destroyed my captors and brought her back into the land of the living…” Nai quickly explained their situation.

“Ohhh… now I remember – ‘The frozen beauty’!" Suddenly a beautiful melodic voice was heard in the direction of the queen’s throne. The necromancer quickly turned towards it and only now she noticed the highly decorated couch covered with soft furs clearly from the highest quality. On it laid a very beautiful women who probably was at least as tall as Alex. She wore a long elegant robe made from furs, had dark crimson hair long almost as her height and on her ears she had a pair of elegant silvery earrings. Last thing that grabbed the vampire’s attention were the barely visible from the robes tattoos on the woman’s neck which symbolized witchcraft. The question here was, how did Nai not notice her before this moment? She was clearly there, but somehow she slipped right past her awareness, maybe she used some sort of magic? Then the woman spoke once again as she elegantly stood from the couch.” Karette, do you remember when I told you how I found a woman encased in ice a few years back? This is her, I’m pretty sure.” She said pointing at Alex.” So she was yours? Too bad, I suppose I should have raised her back then myself, but she looked so beautiful in the ice, almost as a piece of art…”

Who was this witch!? She was clearly very intimate with the queen to call her only by her name and she actually managed to walk up the frozen space of the mountain and see Alex? The vampire had no idea exactly how strong the witch’s magic must be to completely ignore her own. The Vampire threw a challenging look at the witch, she didn’t like realizing how close she was at some point with losing Alex.

As the Queen stood before them, Alex felt the strong presence and she wondered where this strength was coming from. The woman had only walked over and it felt like she had just singlehandedly taken down a army. Even to Alex who was normally fearless in these kinds of situations, felt intimidated. Naisha seemed a bit comfortable as well. As Naisha introduced herself, Alex copied the bow to show some respect. Feeling like it would be bad to get on this Amazon's bad side.

"I am Alex, your Grace." Alex introduced before straightening and listening to Naisha speak of their tale. The red head was a little surprise that Naisha devolved such information but then again, there was just something about this Queen that made it understandable.

The Queen's lilac eyes stared down Naisha, almost unblinking as the vampire explained their story. It was then a familiar voice spoke up from behind and the Amazon Queen glanced back at the tall witch. Giving a slight amused smile crossing her red lips.

"I see Krieli'nas. So this was the one you so highly praised when you returned from your walk about." Karette hummed before turning her gaze to Alex who instinctevly stood a little straighter.

The Queen looked her over thoughtfully. "Indeed, you're taste does not fail you Krieli'nas." she mused before moving the spear to her left hand and reached out, fingers brushing over Alex's Crimson hair, making the undead stiffen, unsure what the Queen was actually doing.

"Crimson hair is rare among Amazons." Karette said thoughtfully before withdrawing her hand, making Alex blink in confusion before the Queen turned to look down at Naisha.

"Mhmm careful little sorcerer. Krieli'nas surely has more experience when it comes to magic. And she likes to play a few games. Isnt that right Krieli'nas?" The Queen said with mild amusement.

“You could say that~” The witch replied with an amused whistle as Nai continued to glare at her.” Ohh I’m going to enjoy this.” She said with happy voice and licked her upper lip. After that everything happened so fast that Nai was caught unprepared.

In just a moment, the witch’s eyes flared with mage, and she pointed her finger at Nai.” Bang~” Was all she said and a sphere of magic energy shot from her finger with incredible speed and power. Nai who was caught completely unprepared, quickly managed to activate her defensive barrier spell, but it was all for naught. With the sound of crystals shattering the moment the barrier was made, the witch’s attack completely shattered through the vampire’s shield and hit her. Nai couldn’t believe how fast it happened, her shield didn’t even slow the thing. The very moment the attack struck her, she found herself blasted backwards as if hit from a cannon. She was thrown back so strong, she found herself dragging on the ground outside the hall of the queen.

“Well, she is durable enough if she still moves after this, but your defensive magic is a joke, brat~” The witch’s voice rang happily as Nai struggled to stand up. Only now did Nai realized something very important. Her awareness was so consumed by the overwhelming presence of the queen earlier that she completely missed the witch’s. If the queen felt like a proud noble beast, the witch felt aura felt like that of a calamity.

“Hmm… you are still too green overall. Those demonic boons you carry seem to have lowered your magic abilities somewhat. Get rid of those and learn to walk under the sun by your own power. Also learn some proper defensive magic and maybe we will fight properly one day.” Krieli’nas sad, her melodic voice still sounding as carefree and calm as before.” I will excuse myself to the bedchambers for now then… see you later.” She said, passing by the queen and giving her a quick kiss, before calmly walking away from the throne room.

“Grr…” Nai grumbled as she was struggling to get up from that strike… only now she realized how much she depended on Alex’s protection in situation such as these. Alex was never really good in the defense, sure she had a lot powerful attacking spells, but only a basic barrier spell for protection.” Alex… a little bit of help please…” Nai said, as she found it impossible to stand. She felt that she probably had like all her bones shattered right now. She was a fool... she had forgotten the basic rule of survival: there is always a bigger fish than you out there.

Alex blinked as the events that unfolded happened so quickly, but she whipped around as Naisha was blasted back. "Nai?!" Alex shouted before rushing over to the Necromancer, gently picking up the broken body. The red head had seen Naisha be more durable, but that had rattled even a vampire's body with one simple hit. Who was that woman?

The Queen hummed in amusement as she witnessed the scene, unsurprised. Smiling a bit as the witch came over to her and gave a quick kiss to the queen, whom gladly returned, Karette nodded firmly. "But of course. Keep our bed warm Mhm?" she said watching the witch go before returning her gaze to the two guests, only to find Alex glaring at her and snarling at her like a angry beast. Yet the queen still held that serious calm expression, lilac eyes watching the undead.

"Why did she do that?! How dare you both!" Alex snarled, holding Naisha close but the Queen simply slightly raised a eyebrow.

"To prove a point and teach a lesson. If you want some sort of apology, you're free to face me to prove the similar message, Young One." Karette challenged in a calm strong voice, body standing tall and relaxed.

Alex growled a bit at the challenge. "Fine then! I'm going to make you eat those words!" the red head snapped, gently setting Naisha down before unsheathing her two blades and charging, slashing at the Queen.

Karette simply moved like a viper, dodging upcoming attacks and almost lazily deflecting them with her spear, yet it moved so quickly in time with the dual wielding Attack. Using all but one hand to take on Alex's usual strength that brought normal people to shame. Yet in this case, it seemed she was actually the weaker one. The Queen allowed Alex to take a few swiped before dodging right and firmly back handing the undead in the rib, sending her flying. Alex grunted as she skidded to a halt, struggling to stand only to find the tip of a spear pointed at her throat.

The Queen looked down at Alex before returning the spear to a upright position. "You show strength and skill, but you still have a lot to learn. If this was a true battle, you'd be deader then dead. And you'd be but a mindless corpse to leave for your master." Karette said before looking to the guards. "Show them to a room and let them get rest and lick their wounds for a bit. We shall speak again soon." she said before turning away and walking off in the direction the witch went.

Alex grunted and got to her feet before going over scooping Naisha up in her arms. "You okay Nai?" she asked, eyes softening in concern.
