Hi everyone!

I'm going to be flying for the rest of the day, but I'd like to just check on everyone. I know that everyone's pretty busy, but we're coming up on two weeks without an IC post. Are we all just that busy (Totally okay if we are)? Do I need to add something to the current IC post? Should I re-open the cast for applications?

If this comes down to "Naril Just Needs To Be More Patient," I'm okay with that. :3

Hi, everybody! I already shot our patient GM a message, but I just wanted to drop by and apologize for being so out of touch this week. My trip turned out to be kind of miserable, but I'll be home tomorrow and hopefully back in the swing of things!

I had my wisdom tooth removed, another one goes probably later this fall. It was an interesting as I didn't know it'd be removed IMMEDIATELY AS I GO TO DENTIST TO CHECK MY TEETH!

...It was surprisingly fun. Though I've been spitting blood for 4 hours now.

Doing well on this end, Naril! Little kerfuffle here over how, exactly, I'm going to get to work tomorrow, but that's an adventure to be dealt with in the morning, at this point.

So sorry to hear about your wisdom teeth, @Habibi359. At least it sounds like it's not...been...too...bad...? I hope the uncomfortable bleeding stops soon! I'm afraid I'll have to have mine removed in the very near future--I can't avoid it much longer--so maybe we can share war stories. (After the fact. Any scary stories you have right now, you just hold onto those until after I've already made myself do it. :P)

Bleeding's stopped but I'm keeping it safe and not eating anything too solid for now.

I'm sorry everyone! I'm really strapped for time right now, what with exams and papers due all throughout this week and next week. Not to mention me sorting out probably quitting my part time job because of this class load. I'll get something up as soon as I can, but I've got a lot on my plate atm.

I have never had such bad jet lag in my life, but I am settling in. IM staying with family at the moment though and their internet is epicly terrible.

Edit: I'm going to be quite a bit later on the next post than I thought - I wound up deciding to go an entirely different direction while I was doing an editing pass on what I meant to post yesterday. With luck, this will get the story out of the prologue and into a little more narrative motion. I'd expect it up by Monday or Tuesday, as I'm going to be either at the airport, flying, or checking into my hotel. Fortunately all this travelling ends on Saturday, and it's over for the rest of the year and substantially into next. I'm really beginning to despise the smell of my local airport.

I'll also point out, just as a hint, that Cat has said something very important that nobody's asked about yet. :3

CREEEEEEPY post, @Naril! :D Definitely worth the wait! I hope things are settling down for you--and for everyone else! I remember that struggle, @vietmyke; I wish you the best of luck this week. Knowing that it has to end eventually doesn't always help when you're in the thick of it, but I hope you're at least seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!

@lady horatio - Aww, thanks. :3 I have to admit that I took longer than I wanted to sort of "crack" that one, the ideas kept sliding together and apart. I like how it came together, though. :3 We're coming up on Halloween (one of my favourite holidays), and this story was always going to get a little creepy.

Oh, @vietmyke gave me express permission to puppet Jacob and Amanda around like that. Don't worry, I won't do anything like that to any of you unless I ask first. :3
