Question, what class would Protection Spells fall under? I would think it would be in Creation, obviously, but I just wanted confirmation.

(Edit - Is it also okay, I create a God/Goddess of Protection in the Human Pantheon?)

@CrystalApple I hope you saw my other comment; she can have the organ if you want because I got rid of the points, but the facts about it still stand, though I don't think that that changes much for you, unless you were pining for the whole 'unknown' thing.

It depends on what you mean by protection; if you summon some armor or a shield, it would be Creation>Summoning, but, like my character has a "Light Shield," you can be pretty liberal with it. If it's just a support skill you can use creation no problem.

Like I said in the OP, there are a lot of minor gods that I have not mentioned. Feel free to make one for your use!

EDIT: Ok, reading over your character;

He doesn't use enchantment. Enchantment specifically refers, in the RP / the OP, to imbuing items with magic... Since he isn't an item that can keep an enchantment, that's not what his magic is. That doesn't change anything really, it's just semantics. His spells all seem to fall under the Summoning category, so he uses Creation magic. Enchantment, as a skill, would mean he could enchant things. Which he can't, because that's a different process (he could if you wanted! But i don't think that's what you're going for).

...I'm not exactly sure what you're getting at with these seals... I'm not sure what they are, honestly? Characters use magic with their own energy, mana, in this RP. What did you mean by they regenerate? Are they a part of his body..? I'm not opposed to them, I just need some more information. He himself doesn't cast magic, but he has these seals that do - that's the impression I got but I'm not sure if that's what you had meant.

Oh, that's why you said enchantment? Cause those are enchanted? So, their like just like a ring/wand/ect that can cast spells with a time reset? Is that it? I manage to get these things in the middle of responding all the time.

Magic users are limited in mana, if the point of the seals was to have restrictions/regulations on his magic use. But I'm guessing he doesn't use mana? Just the seals? (plz tell me what they look like/what they physically are for the sake of my mental images if you don't mind. )

The Seals are basically used as another component of a spell along with mana. They are created at the back of the head of Juno while in combat. But forget about that I revamping my character to Version 3!!! Sorry Im very fickle when I learn new facts and whatnot :P

Name:
Alexandra ???

Age:
58

Race:
Human - Lycanthrope

Appearance:
Long locks of wild ash blond hair flow down to the middle of Alex's back, her bangs barely cover her deep crimson eyes that seem to hold great wisdom and at the same time great loss. Standing at 5'6" she is far from the most impressive looking fighter with her rather feminine features, however on closer inspection one would see that she is rather toned and not one piece of her body was wasted on anything else other than training for combat. Combined with her sharp red eyes and natural threatening demeanor she can be rather intimidating when she needs to be, but often covers up as much as possible with the use of simple travelers clothes in black and brown, the only things standing out being the royal crest on the sword scabbard by her side.

Personality:
Alex has become very laid back in her 'old age' taking things as they come with a dry wit, maintaining many subtle mannerisms of her past station and animal like nature, such as being rather accepting of certain people with a kindly aura about them, being able to judge people at just a glance. Within combat she will show herself to be a no-nonsense warrior who carries herself with grace and dignity. However, she has deep seeded regret, blaming herself for being unable to stop it all that happened in the past despite how big the event was.

Morality / Religion:
She despises the gods, blaming them even more so than herself for what transpired, tho she considers those that still hold faith fools she wont openly state such. Once she wanted to be a hero, someone of noble intentions and strong will and though she did not consider herself as such she still maintained a code of never killing a surrendered enemy herself, or putting her blade to a unarmed enemy, no matter who or what.

Biography:
A baby left on the stairs of the castle, a common sight to say the least; the poor always hoped that they would bring up the child instead of sending it to the poor house, but it was never too be... Until a single rainy night when the servants of the castle brought in a baby from the rain, a ashen blonde baby wrapped in the finest of weaved cotton. However what gave them pause was the babies pure blood red eyes, a sight that made them call the master of the house.

It was the uniqueness of the baby that saved it as it was brought into the house to be raised alongside Prince Elrin. When the boy grew into both king and man, so did the girl come to be a women and known throughout the land as the royal guard captain to King Elrin himself, a place of respect and power. How she became the kings right hand was never truly known to the public, neither were her unique powers, but her loyalty to him was unmistakable. She remained by his side, even during the Decent of the world, she was willing to face gods and worse to keep him safe but...

Now she comes to this city, looking for answers and maybe a new start, and maybe even a little bit of hope?

Other Notes:
N/A

Class:
Monk

Combat Style:
Alex uses a wild style of hand to hand combat from her more primal side, a style she has forged to be able to taken out normally armed enemies. However she is also a trained two handed swords-women, capable of using large weaponry as if it was nothing thanks to abnormal strength, though she has not shown interest in using a sword anymore other than training.

Weapons / Tools:
  • Broken Sword: A sword bearing the royal crest. It was once a huge sword but now broken in half it is no more than length than a longsword.
  • Light Leather Armor

Skills / Natural Abilities:
  • Transform
  • Strength: Thanks to her natural ability combined with her training Alex is very strong
  • Cunning: Years of living and experiences has molded her mind into one of a strategist and clever fighter

Miscellaneous:
  • N/A

General Equipment:
  • Backpack: 5 rations, water, bedroll with pillow
  • Small hunting knife
  • Formal dress

BOOM! Orodyuke 2.0 sorry it took me longer than I said it would >.>

Name:
Orodyuke Equites

Age:
177

Race:
Diamond Dwarf

Appearance:
Possessing the beefy, dense musculature typical of his race, Orodyuke stands slightly short for a dwarf at four feet, but nevertheless gives the impression of a rugged, ancient volcano, whose days of fire and glory are long past it, giving him a faded and wistful appearance. Icy blue eyes peer out from under his lined and deep set features, and though some streaks of black remain in his ashen hair, it has mostly turned white with age. He is typically garbed in a simple leather jerkin and pants beneath a dark green traveling robe. He wears his shortsword belted on at his side and a pack across his pace, with his pipe within easy reach.

Personality:
World weary and withdrawn, Orodyuke dwells in a sea of bitter memories, and can be a hard man to earn the respect of. He has no time for naivety or foolishness, and measures people in deeds rather than words. This often shows in his impatience and slight temper, especially with Priests, who he secretly envies intensely. Despite all this however, he is a mostly gentle man. And his gruff exterior conceals a great belief in the capacity of people, and a determination to protect those betrayed by their gods.

Morality / Religion:
Everything must have a price. As a priest-smith of the god Kurladt, this was the tenant to which Orodyuke held with unyielding conviction. There were many who said the god was avaricious for this law, but Orodyuke saw true virtue and justice in this, for surely if balance was not kept, and the god’s miracles were given freely to the people of Reath, then what would be left for them to strive for in life? He dedicated all his years to being Kurldat’s hammer on earth, believing he truly understood his deity in ways no one else did.

He was wrong. Kurldadt’s betrayal broke Orodyuke, extinguishing his power and reducing his ideologies to dust in the wind. Leaving him so lost he no longer trusted himself to know what was right. But seeing how the mortal races continued to strive and persevere in the face of the odds rekindled his will. He placed his faith in the people of Reath, and decided to defy the gods under his own strength, and make Kurladt realise the error of his ways. As powerless as he may be, Orodyuke vowed that before this apocalypse claimed him even a measly mortal like him would make a god feel regret.

Biography:
In the golden age of plenty prior to the Great Descent, Orodyuke was a famed priest of the god Kurladt, and upheld his values as a smith and enchanter in the Diamond Dwarf city wherein he dwelt. The world was a wide and bountiful place, and many came from across the land bearing gold and other treasures to his hearth. Orodyuke gave these in offering to the god, who rewarded his follower with the powers to forge wonders from steel and mana for those who needed them. He plied his craft for over a century, hammering out the gods will, relishing the ability to help the people who sought him out, and grant them the opportunities their lives would have otherwise denied them.
Then without warning, the days came when the Great Creator turned Destroyer, and a blight came to the land. Terror grew in the hearts of the people, who spoke of whole cities levelled with a breath and shadow beasts sweeping through tunnels, killing everything they encountered. Realizing death was closing in, Orodyuke abandoned his forge, taking only his hammer, and distributed what artefacts there were left to the few warriors they had, and attempted to lead his congregation up to the surface before it was too late.
The abominations fell on them a few hours outside the city. Weapons of legend, charged with the powers of the elements beat uselessly against their armoured hides, and shattered in their bearer’s hands after but a couple of blows. Armour crafted to resist the strongest magic collapsed under their rending claws. It was then with horror that Orodyuke realised that these creatures sent to kill them were of Kurladt himself, and all hope was lost. They were slaughtered like rabbits in a burrow, and the blood of Orodyuke’s people soaked the tunnels as the machinations pursued them mercilessly, digging through the tunnels they collapsed behind them and hunting them into corners. Only those weapons that were not forged by the god-smith’s power seemed to help withstand the monstrosities.
When at last the few stragglers who had managed to break free reached the surface, what greeted them was a world of death and despair. The dwarves tried to find somewhere safe to hide, but after losing everything from his home to his religion Orodyuke needed answers, and so set off again soon afterwards. The chaos engulfing the world shook him to the core, but the efforts of those who still struggled similarly inspired him to find his lost sense of purpose. He vowed to do everything he could to help restore the world, and make the gods feel their mistake.
He now travels, desperately researching for ways to combat the descent and the Creeping Death without divine power and only the strength of mortals, and with that aim has arrived in the port town of Urenda, one of the few remaning places that supports a sizeable population.

Other Notes:
-The condition is not severe, but the years spent pouring over a forge and being a strong smoker have left Orodyuke weak of lung.
-Having spent little time outside his homeland, Orodyuke has a rather thick accent.

Class:
Mage (former priest)

Fighting Style:
By the Book: Orodyuke has drilled with a variety of weapons in order further his understanding as a smith, however he has little actual combat experience which makes his swordplay very standard and inflexible.

Magic Style:
Mana Weaving: Though relatively new to magery and inexperienced, Orodyuke brings with him his experience with infusing mana and knowledge of metallurgy to access the Elemental and Natural aspects of the Primal magic school, specialising in manipulating spells and bolstering his allies’ equipment or weakening his enemies’.

Weapons / Tools:
  • A keepsake shortsword forged by Orodyuke back in the day as a showpiece to complete his apprenticeship. It is enchanted to never dull and resist the effects of time.

Skills / Abilities:
  • Smithing:Though he may have lost the powers granted to him by Kurladt, he remains an exceptional Smith
  • Enchanting: Though the gifts granted to him by Kurladt are gone, Orodyuke remains knowledgeable in the art of enchanting

Natural Abilities:
  • Enchanting: As a diamond dwarf he is a natural enchanter
  • Magical Affinity: Though most dwarves seem to be less effective at accessing and manipulating magic, Orodyuke does not seem to suffer from this trait.

Spells / Magical Abilities:
  • Dispel: Breaks or negates the effects of a spell in progress. Effort required relative to strength of the magic in question as well as the “amount” of the magic being dispelled. Mostly limited to effects that would vanish by themselves after a duration. (e.g magical barriers, an ally has been rooted to the ground etc).
  • Fragile: Renders target material brittle and crumbly by targeting the molecular structure.
  • Thunderstrike: A bolt of lightning springs from the caster to the target, which can be sustained if desired, though the caster can do little else while this is happening due to the concentration necessary. Other than damaging, the spell is designed to stun or impede enemy movement. More resilient targets require more effort to be expended.

Miscellaneous:
N/A

General Equipment:

  • A pack
  • small amount of money
  • two days supply.
  • A single torch.
  • large forge hammer
  • An old pipe, no tobacco.
