Lady Violetta was working on the Bulletin Board in preparation of the new students that would be falling in today. All of the empty rooms were ready for those who will be attending the Academy.......She sighs as she puts a Spell Lock on the Bulletin Board turns and sees Thomas Skywalker walking up to her with his long legs and a limp on his left side. He was still a handsome man but he does not pay her much attention to her. "Good day for new students to fall in." she spoke calmly.
“Yes, it is a good day. I have made sure that all of the boxes contain what is needed. I just made up five of each one." Thomas spoke in his warm voice that melts anyone's body including the Headmistress of the Academy.
“That is good to know. The Level 2 students should be ready soon or so I hope. Everyone should wear their cloaks and equipment belt to show that they are part of this school." Lady Violetta spoke firmly to Thomas who did not wear the cloak any more than he needed to.
"Yes, m'am." A cloak fell around Thomas' shoulder and his Native American staff appeared in his hands.
“Looks much better. Thank you. " she spoke softly.
Thomas simply nodded and left for the Grand Doors of the Castle.

Form for Creating New Creatures Name of your Creature: Your name to remember you by: Animal Type: Species: Magical Affinity: Habitat: Food: Life Span: How it bears its young: How long does the young stay with the parent: NOTES: Young Adult: Suggested equipment: Arthropods (ones that can walk on the hind feet for the most part) None at this time Avian Firebirds Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Avian Magical Affinity: Air, Fire Habitat: near heat sources such as volcanoes and deserts Food: fruits and nuts Life Span: 12 years How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: Several Weeks NOTES Brilliantly-plumaged birds of iridescent fire colors, firebirds eat only fruits and nuts. Their feathers are shades of red and orange. Firebirds give off false sparks along their tail at will, but when agitated (frightened or angered) they have a tendency to set things on fire. Firebirds are shy creatures that are easily frightened and therefore very dangerous. They are intelligent and flock together. They do not spit flames, but when upset they spark and set things aflame.* A new bondbird stock was bred that is much calmer. It bonds with one person and forges a telepathic link. The bond bird stock is larger, and therefore heavier than wild firebirds. It has a proportionally larger brain as well. Bond birds communicate in simple thoughts and emotions usually, though some breeds are smarter than others. Depending on the strength of the link, a bond bird and it's bond mate can see through each other's eyes in a strange sort of double vision. This double vision will be disorienting and can cause nausea, but once you adjust and get used to it, it can prove helpful. Firebirds have long trailing tail feathers, and a delicate head and neck. Firebirds are rare. Suggested equipment Egg sling, nesting box, cage, tall perch, ladders, bells, mirrors, rings, bird skates, boxes to put toys in (a hide and seek game) leash, cage cover, sandpaper perch, bird piano (will give out treats and can be set in a variety of ways), food dishes. Bling and shiney things are great gifts! Egg No one had ever seen a firebird egg until the first pair of firebirds were befriended and bonded. This pair is where the bond bird stock originally came from. Before, if one was very very lucky, one might find a piece of shell. The egg is an iridescent red flecked with gold. The inside is an iridescent cream color and resembles the outside of a pearl. The egg is about the size of a fist. Youngling As hatchlings their colors are of ash and embers. Little birds are ravenous and must be kept warm. When they are hungry they must be fed a sort of smoothy made of various nuts, and fruits. A few supplements of calcium may be needed. Birds will molt and new feathers will come in place. One must be careful with the feathers, unless a feather is imped in, a damaged feather may inhibit a bird's ability to fly. One must be careful of blood feathers which are the newly growing feather. The hollow center of the feather becomes a vein and is filled with blood as it's growing. If a blood feather is broken, the bird might bleed out and die. Adult A perch and a tray to catch droppings will be needed, even if a window is left opened to let the bird come and go freely. It is advised that, a small tray of grit be provided to help the bird with digestion. As adults, firebirds become much more dangerous.*
Lyre Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Singing Birds Magical Affinity: Air, Earth, Enchanting Habitat: trees in the wild usually in gardens or meadows or cages if a pet Food: seeds and fruit or smoothies made from bugs, fruit and seeds Life Span: 25 years or more How it bears its young: Egg How long does the young stay with the parent: 3 weeks in wild or hatched in a home as a pet NOTES Lyre is the largest of the singing birds, growing up to 30- 35 inches long with 2 to 5 extra-long feathers which have pale eye markings on them. These birds can and often do figure out how to get out of their cages due to mostly boredom. They will learn how to sparkle which will light up a room and spark out which is how they disappear into thin air. No known way to stop them but each one will be tagged with a communication gem tag for retrieval. They may be left alone. The interesting things about these birds are that their songs have power. Their sparkle and sparking out is a noteworthy ability, and makes them useful as messenger birds, but these magic birds have another trick up their sleeves. Lyre's songs are captivating and enchanting like a charm. Lyre's song can effect emotions of those who are around it.
Egg Lyre eggs are brown and black speckled eggs. Lyre eggs take four weeks to hatch. Never forget to keep them warm and turn them from time to time.
Hatchlings Lyre hatchlings are brown and black colored. They have a strong curiosity in them which requires the owner to have plenty of toys to rotate in and out of its cage. As they grow they will need more room to stretch and exercise their wings.
Adult Lyres are high flying birds with a beautiful voice that can enchant anyone around. The wings are wide and there are 5 to 7 long tail feathers that extend beyond the rest. These tail feathers are what attract the opposite gender in the mating ritual. Once the lyre is mated it stays mated for life. If one of the pair does die first, the other one will mourn its loss with a melancholy song. Most do not remate again but live alone for the rest of its life.

Arkie- Not Sold Anywhere! Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ Zane Species: Arcane Hound Magical Affinity: All types of magic! Habitat: Anywhere that Magic is stored or wasted. The rogue magic will make a form of some sort of an animal usually a dog and the size varies due to the amount of magic left sitting around. It is the ‘rat’ of the magical society. To get rid of the Arkie, a Weaver must be called in to unweave the rogue magical properties then the rogue magical properties must be properly bottled. The bottled rogue magical properties must then be taken to a containment center.

Difficult to handle and must be left in the kennel when not with its owner. Cerberus is the guard dog of the gate to Hade's domain. Some say Cerberus is a hellhound. How exactly a litter of Cerebus pups came to be is uncertain. The Cerberus pets are three-headed snarling little beasties. They are also smaller than expected. Whatever the case is, Cerberus looks and behaves like the guard dog in mythology. Cerberus is much more surly and bloodthirsty than a Hellhound. Full grown Cerberus will only eat live meals and fresh kills. They are predators and only will follow one person. Training is extremely important if one wants friend's intact. Brute force may be needed to enforce commands if the Cerberus is not properly trained. Pup Puppies are born blind and deaf. During this 4 week period, the puppies learn how to find their way about using their keen hearing, sensitive touch and superior smell. They are fragile at this time and need a lot of milk to strengthen the bones. Once their eyes and ears are open, there is no stopping them from their playful antics. Their hides are thick which is necessary because their razor sharp teeth can rip a chunk out of your arm. The mother is a strict disciplinarian and keeps the pups in check. As the puppies grow into their huge paws, they will tend to be clumsy and uncoordinated which will endear them to your heart. It is imperative that they be trained to heed commands from their master absolutely. Once they get older, Cerberus become considerably less friendly to everyone around. As they grow, the cute growling and play bites can become much less adorable. One should always be wary of their jaws, but never forget their claws or fire breath. Adult Bloodthirst is strong in these creatures. If cerebrums are trained to not kill friends, make sure friends never show weakness or appear injured in its presence. Its keen nose will smell blood or sickness.
Frost Wolf Made by The Wolf ‘Found by’ The Wolf Species: Arcane Hound Magical Affinity: Cold, Water, Freeze, Ice Habitat: Snowy and icy regions Food: Meat Life Span: 12-15 years How it bears its young: live birth of 4-6 pups How long does the young stay with the parent: 12-15 weeks or they stay with the pack until it joins another pack. NOTES Pup Pups are born blind and deaf for their first week of their life. They soon become the roly poly snowballs by the time they are a month old. They have sharp teeth and strong bones from birth. Frost Wolf pups will accept freshly killed meals and can eat tiny live creatures by the time it is a month old. By the time it is 2 months old, they can catch small rodents for themselves. If the pup is to be kept as a pet, now is the time to take them from the pack but be aware of the pack members! They will protect the pups from intruders.
Suggested equipment Plenty of chew toys, animal shaped toys, balls, Frisbees. You will need to have a leash, collar, food dishes, bed, brush. An instrument must be learned in order to control the Frost Wolf. You will need to learn an instrument such as a flute or whistle for controlling your puppy. Its keen nose will smell blood or sickness. They are also pack animals and prefer to be with several other Frost Wolves. They can and will freeze another creature if there is a need to so for the safety of the pack.
Hellhound Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: Deamon Hound Magical Affinity: Fire Habitat: Volcanoes, Deserts, graveyards Food: Meat, charcoal, sulfur Life Span: 15 years How it bears its young: live birth in litters of 6-9 pups How long does the young stay with the parent: 8-10 weeks NOTES An instrument must be learned in order to control the hellhound. One must beware of gas and flames. Will need to have charcoal on a rare occasion. Will need chew toys, burn muzzle, collar, leash, brush. They are a one person animal and is very loyal to its master. Difficult to handle and must be left in the kennel when not with its owner. Cerberus may guard the gates of the underworld, but hellhounds guard the graves. Hellhounds patrol graveyards and burial grounds. They are said to hunt lost souls and unwary travelers near graves after dark.
Puppies Puppies are born blind and deaf. Once they get older, hellhounds become considerably less friendly to everyone around. At their larger size the cute growling and play bites can become much less adorable. One should always be wary of their jaws, but never forget their claws or fire breath. Suggested equipment Plenty of chew toys, fire resistant balls, Frisbees. You will need to have a leash, collar, food dishes, bed. One must beware of flames and gas so you might want a gas mask. Will need to have charcoal on a rare occasion. Burn muzzle, collar, leash, brush. An instrument must be learned in order to control the hellhound. Adults Hellhounds are large black dogs with red eyes that glow in deep nights. They are unnaturally strong. They are said to breathe fire and their burps/belches may reek of sulfur. The flames are yellow to blue in color and the smell will be of sulfur. They grow to the size of Great Danes and weigh as much. These are large dogs with equally large teeth.
Equine None at this time.
Feline
Firecat Made by The Creator ‘Found by’ The Creator Species: housecat Magical Affinity: Fire, Teleport, Telepathy, Jump Habitat: houses Food: small rodents, fish, some grasses Life Span: 10-12 years How it bears its young: live birth of 2-4 kittens How long does the young stay with the parent: 6-8 weeks
NOTES Firecats have cream colored fur and have the same markings as Siamese cats except that rather than brown their markings are a brick red. They have a triangular head and blue eyes. Firecats are fast and lithe. Their sense of balance is superb. They are flexible and agile creatures. They take three years to grow into adulthood, but they have the same lifespan as a man and are sentient as well as intelligent. Don't expect them to obey orders, don't even try to give them orders, cats will do what they want. Regard them as an equal and a partner, and you'll probably do alright.* Firecats are a bit strange in their abilities. They are capable of mental magic such as telepathy and have a skill called jump.*The skill called jump is one of the stranger skills. It is essentially the ability to teleport. The cats can jump themselves around pretty easily, but it wears them down. The more they have to carry with them, the faster they're exhausted. Jumping a human around is extremely taxing and the cat will need plenty of food, water, rest and other care after jumping a human around. The further the distance of the jump, the more energy it takes. The more tired the cat is, the more likely something will go wrong. Firecats do not bond themselves to *person like a bondbird or imprint like a fire lizard. They do, however attach themselves to a person. They can talk to anyone with their telepathy, but they choose who they help. They will be loyal to whoever deserves their loyalty. They are more of a partner than a pet. Firecats have close ties to their families and no one can stop them from jumping to their families. Fire cats teach the kittens and all have their own names given to them by their parents. They can be traced with a special communication gem but the cat will need to wear it and being a cat gives it the advantage for it can take the collar off if it should want to do so. It is best to encourage a close relationship with the kitten from the beginning.
Kitten When first born, Firecat kittens are not blind. Once cleaned up, they can see and hear clearly. However they cannot be taken from their mother until they are weaned in about two months. Young kittens must be treated like superior toddlers. They instinctively recognize danger. However, one must be careful with thoughts as much as words around firecat kittens. They hear thoughts as well as they hear regular voices. Kittens are mischievous and curious. When they learn jump, beware. It is a skill instinctive to them as swimming is to a fish. They'll likely get themselves or their caretaker into a lot of trouble. Firecat Yearling kittens will not be able to jump a human around many times or very far. *Their second year it may be possible to jump a human a few times a week, provided they get superb care and the need is great.

Golden Lion Made by an RP friend ‘Found by’ an RP friend Species: Big Cats Magical Affinity: Amplify plus the ability of ‘Borrowing of Companion’ Habitat: Jungle Food: Meat Life Span: 30 years maximum How it bears its young: Live birth How long does the young stay with the parent: in the wild- 1 year: as pets- 3 months.
NOTES Growing up to 300-500 kg, and a length of 8-10 ft maximum. Gold Lions are called so because of their coat, their mane, and even their eyes. A species' entire body is coated in a way that it would seem gold and it has a special characteristic where in it has the same shine as gold which sometimes confuses people; this is how a lion in the wild would feed. Animals drawn towards the gold shine were curious enough to come closer as the lion would stay still, then when prey is within striking distance, then it would strike.
Aside from that, these lions have a very powerful roar, a known characteristic even in earth lions, but this is not the only thing that makes this special creature very special. Once bonded with a master, these lions are able to take in magic from their master as long as it is channeled towards them and use it in a way to benefit itself in whatever current situation it is in. Very loyal, brave, and proud animals, they often seek for masters who have the same quality as themselves as the masters they have usually shape the adults they become.
Kittens Kittens are blind and deaf at birth and their sight as well as their hearing come around 2 weeks old. They are very active, inquisitive and generally feisty. They are a pride type and like to have other cats about.
Suggested equipment Needs special collar, cat post, toys, litter pan, brush, comb, leash, food, bed, cat tree, litter pan
Adults Once bonded with a master, these lions are able to take in magic from their master as long as it is channeled towards them and use it in a way to benefit itself in whatever current situation it is in. They are very protective of their master and would protect the master with it’s life. They do play with balls and climb as adults. They can learn tricks if the owner would take the time to teach them.

NOTES If you notice, shadows are rarely pure black, and so are Shadow Cats. Their furs are usually in patterns of grays, browns, and blacks. Shadow Cats are carnivorous creatures in the habit of stalking small prey. Shadow cats are about the size of your average house cat. As their legs are shorter, they have less speed than firecats. They are; however, easily overlooked.* Shadow cats are capable of disappearing into shadows. They see at night just as well as they see in day. Their ability is different from jumping in that it is more stable and requires shadows. They are less combat oriented and naturally blend into shadows except for their brilliant emerald eyes. They can jump from shadow to shadow in a firecat manner. Their shadow jump ability is less exhausting than a fire cats jump.* Shadow cats are not sentient in the way that firecats are. They are cunning and sneaky, but not as intelligent. They are like bondbirds in the way they relate to their owner or bondmate. They share an empathic and telepathic link with their bondmate. With their larger brains they are also better at communicating with their bond mate than a bondbird is. Kitten They come into the world with sight and hearing, but must be weaned before they could be made into pets. They are the size of, and grow at the same speed as, a normal cat. They must be well fed and well cared for to grow. They need to be groomed and trained and kept out of trouble. It is up to their bondmate and others to raise them and teach them until adulthood. A healthy young shadow cat is always curious. They can often be found spying by their bondmate when they let thoughts slip down the link. Adult It's body from tip of nose to base of tail is about three feet long when full grown. The length of the tail matches the length of their body. At this size their claws and teeth are quite large. Trees outside will do as well as scratching posts. By adulthood they've learned sensibility and become practical and vain creatures. They are formidable in fights. They are predators, never forget that.

Rodentilia Name of your Creature: Nunbola Your name to remember you by: Mafu Animal Type: Rodentilia Species: Frost rabbit Magical Affinity: Ice, Water
Habitat: Typically found in the coldest regions of the mountains, usually near the mountaintops.
Food: Nunbola are complete herbivores and prefer to eat dried out or frozen vegetation, with dried fruits being given out as an occasional treat.
Life Span: 18-25 years How it bears its young: Live birth in large litters How long does the young stay with the parent: 3-4 months
NOTES: Nunbola are very small creatures resembling a rabbit with a squirrel-like tail, growing up to weigh no more than 5 pounds as a full grown adult. They survive in the mountainous regions of the north through blending in with the environment and having both quick reflexes as well as speed. When caught, their body temperature quickly drops to freezing levels as a fear response and normally causes a numbing sensation to the predator in order to force them to release the Nunbola. Their coats range from white, grey, or white-blue in color and can also be found in a mixture of said colors. Nunbola are covered in a very thick, soft fur to protect them from the harsh temperatures of their natural habitat and even huddle together most of the time for extra warmth. Because of their fur being so thick, snow and frost seem to quickly accumulate deep within it, especially so considering Nunbola roll around in very fine snow to clean themselves. Nunbola can be seen shaking out their fur to release this frost from their coat and creating small mounds of snow by the time they are finished. By nature, these animals are very skittish of strangers and will take time, kindness, and a whole lot of dedication before they full bond with their owners. They tend to operate in large groups and as a result, will crave a lot of attention from their owner when kept alone.
Young: Nunbola are born fully-furred and with a complete set of senses, however, their newborn fur is nowhere near as thick as an adults. Not only that, but the reflexes of a kit are extremely sluggish, so they are kept in the center of Nunbola huddlings until they are at least three months of age. At this point their fur and reflexes are strong enough to sustain the Nunbola outside of their den.
Adult: As an adult, Nunbola do not grow very much past their three month stage, but their speed and snow buildup does seem to increase as they age. They become very attached at this stage as well, so it is suggested that a nunbola not be given to an owner that does not think they will be able to take care of it for the rest of its lifespan.
Suggested equipment: A small insulated rocky den, chewing blocks, dried fruit treats, food, brush, water bottle, small collar, thick gloves for taming, pocket or other form of room on person to carry the Nunbola around in after bonding

The first strike was falling and the second was landing on the grass. It wasn't exactly a dizzying feeling like he had expected, but the third strike was definitely wondering where he was and why he wasn't inside. Just a few moments ago, he was helping an old man help clean the interior of his house to raise a little extra money and now Ruby Maddox was sitting on the grass in an unknown location.
There was the painting he was asked to move, something that. . called to him. Almost like it echoed in his heart --
. . and that sounded totally ridiculous.
But none the less, he touched it and ended up falling through. Ruby shook his head, looking around. He seemed to have landed in front some sort of school. . well, he didn't exactly believe in magic, but he didn't disbelieve in either. This would probably be a good time to start believing -- better than any other, he had to admit.
As Thomas was walking out the door he saw that his first student fall from the sky. "Good day, young man and welcome to Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. My name is Thomas Skywalker and I will be your instructor. I hope that your landing was a good one. Anything hurts?" Thomas asked as he walked to the student.
"No, I didn't hurt anything," Ruby states rather casually, before standing up. "It was about as smooth as I can expect after. . . erm, falling through a painting? I don't know, I've never done that before," he shrugs, "I'm sorry, where did you say we are?"
"You have arrived at Caldwell's Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. Please step off the Fall Area and we shall wait and see if any other new students will Fall In. What is your name?" Thomas asked as he lead the way to where it was safe on the side of the walk." Thomas spoke as he lead the way off of the Fall to grassy area on the other side of the walk.
This was strange. It was almost like they were expecting him. . just not him. He knew it probably was the best idea to trust strangers, but he can definitely make an exception for this case, "Ruby. . Ruby Christopher Maddox."
"Glad to meet you, Ruby. What do you think of being here in a world of Magic and being able to use Magic? You will have a chance own a magical pet." Thomas asked carefully.
"Good to meet you as well, sir. And uhh, I'm not sure how to feel," he admits, "I've never believed in magic before and I still can't tell if this is a dream or not, but I'm not against learning magic. . if I fit the requirements, that is."
"You fit the requirements since you were able to fall through the painting. I was skeptical last Level when I came through the painting. Now I have a young dragon and I am a teacher of Magic. I understand completely." Thomas spoke calmly.
"Well, that's reassuring. As long as I don't die or anything, I'd definitely love to learn magic," he says with a soft smile. Well, this could definitely be interesting!
Ayaka was sitting in her room playing with Rikami who was jumping around and barking at her playfully. The frost wolf was still just as playful as ever and she figured she'd try and get him to waste some of that energy before the day started since, who knows when she'll get the chance to play with him through out the day. There was always Ember that he seemed to like hanging around too, though. "Well, I should probably get ready. Don't want to be late to anything huh?"
Ayaka still remembered the Village incident from last semester when she lost track of time while shopping with Mystique and decided from that point on, she'll make sure she wasn't late again. So far, she's been doing a good job of that too. After feeding Rikami and Skye, Ayaka started getting ready. She couldn't wait to see who the level 1 students were.
Mystique was brushing her pets and was daydreaming of who might be the new students. She took a last turn around the room to see if anything was out of place. Normally, she was not as fussy about her room but today was a special day. She finally dressed and made sure that she had everything in her equipment belt and she saw her phone. She made a quick call to her friend, Ayaka.
"Hey Ayaka! I am ready to go down. I just need to get my cloak on. How about you?" she spoke when Ayaka answered.
Ayaka was in the middle of checking to see if she had everything she needed when she heard her phone ringing. It was Mystique asking if she was ready to go downstairs. "Yeah, I'm just about ready. I can't wait. Meet you there?"
"Sure thing!" Mystique spoke eagerly. She hung up and put on her cloak. A quick check in her mirror to make sure that her long braid was still neat and tidy. She hurried to the Floating Spiral Staircase and stepped on the Landing Pad. "To the main floor, please." she spoke firmly. Around and around Mystique floated downwards until she landed on the landing pad once more. She walked out of the Center Hall and through the doors. She nodded at the Grandfather Hall Clock as she passed him. "Open please, Grand Doors." the doors opened wide to let her out. She walked over towards where Thomas and a new guy were.
"Hello there. My name is Mystique. I am one of the students here." she spoke with a smile.
Ruby was still looking around, walking behind the man who introduced himself as Thomas Skywalker when an unfamiliar face approached the two. She had red hair and introduced herself as "Mystique". It was pretty name, if not unique. "Oh, hey there, I'm Ruby," he said, holding out a hand for introduction.
This is good, maybe she could give him some insight on magic, dragons and the academy or so he hoped.
"Surprising, short. It wasn't too bad," he stated rather sheepishly, though this type of reaction was fairly normal, he reckoned. And to his surprise, she was willing to help -- great! . . Now, what to ask? There was too much to ask, it might even prove to be difficult to wade through the murky depths of his slightly confused mind.
As soon as she was ready, Ayaka told her pets that she'd be back. She asked the staircase to take her to the main floor, then went to the grand doors and asked them to open. Outside, she saw Thomas and Mystique already talking to one of the new students who seemed to be the only new student for the moment.
She went up to the them to hear the new student pretty much ask if he was dreaming. "Hi, my name is Ayaka. I'm a student here, like Mystique is. No you aren't dreaming, though I can see where you would think that."
"No you are not dreaming. Magic is very real and so is this place. You must have many questions to ask. Lady Violetta is the Headmistress of the Academy. There is so many things to tell that I am not really sure what to tell you first." Mystique laughed softly.
