"Dear Wei,
I now begin as a second year student at Cadwell Academy. I shall henceforth reflect a bit on what has occurred, my love. Arriving here, it was as if I was a naïve child, unaware of the true nature of the universe. Now, it is as if I am enlightened, but my knowledge is not yet completed. Having known what I planned to do, I now know how to do it."
With the entry in Elizabeth's journal finished, she put it away. Now was the time to leave. Today was an important day, since Elizabeth began her second year at the Academy. She wore her students' robe, and put her wand in her pocket. Her Arcane Hound, Hesiod, was laying beside her.
"Master, if you wait too long, you'll run late," Hesiod communicated telepathically.
"No need to worry, Hesiod," Elizabeth replied in kind. "I know very well what I am doing. Come, Hesiod. I'm sure it will be necessary to bring you along."
"And what of Uriel?"
"I'm sure his time will come quite soon."
Uriel was Elizabeth's dragon, who had hatched some months ago. For now he would once again stay in Elizabeth's quarters, probably sleeping.
She exited her room, and planned to take the landing pad to the main hall. From there she would head to classes when they began. When Elizabeth left her room she saw a familiar face, a maid she had met before.
"My lady, I'd like to thank you for what you did earlier," the maid said.
"I told you to think nothing of it," Elizabeth said. "I have class to attend, so I apologize if I seem in a hurry."
"Of course, my lady," the maid said. "Again, thank you."
She then headed her way down to the launching pad. She told it to head down to the main hall, and it took her down. Those two students that Elizabeth met before, she thought that their names were Mystique and Ayaka, were there as well. There was a new student there as well, which Elizabeth was sure was awfully interesting to someone else.
