Tara Niklos
I underestimated him. It's understandable. I'm ME. I'm a BIG DEAL. -
Vegeta, TFS Abridged
Name: Tara Alexandra Niklos
Nickname: Nada.
Birth Date: 5/26
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
In Depth Appearance: Short, but she seems taller. Whether it's the constant aura of anger or her sheer inability to back down, Tara has a somewhat imposing presence for her size. She'd be attractive, but few people can see past the nigh constant scowl. Ever hear of the expression "resting bitch face"? She's the definition. Long brown hair, big brown eyes slightly squinted in disbelief, a small mouth normally in a "how stupid can you be" expression. Her smile only appears in the throes of victory, or when assured of it in battle. At best, a slight scowl of determination is all that can be hoped for by people looking at her.
Clothing Style: Jeans and a t-shirt. Always. Till the end of the earth. If you catch her in a dress, she's crying inside and plotting everyone in the room's demise.
Likes:- Good old fashioned competition.
- Winning.
- Combat.
- Movies-the more action packed, the better.
- Boxing.
Dislikes:- People stronger than her because of some unearned reason-say, being the child of one of the Big Three.
- Losing.
- Bugs, though she'd kill anyone who figured that out.
- Things she can't get through by punching them.
Fears:- Not being the best.
- Large insects. Not as in, the size of your hand. As in the size of your head or larger.
- Death.
Habits:- Humming pump up songs. I.E. Eye of the Tiger, Levels, Back in Black.
- Challenging people to fights. Randomly. Usually in the middle of important stuff.
- Using too many baseball analogies.
Personality:♦ Angry ♦ Competitive ♦ Protective ♦ Egotistical
The polar opposite of a lot of her peers, Tara always views the world as a massive competition, and wants to win it in every way. She has to be the best, the toughest, the strongest... Always, even if it means alienating people she likes. That being said, she takes no glory in beating a weaker enemy. Anyone not close to her level she views as weak and refuses to fight against them, thinking it's too easy to win against such an opponent. Any insinuation that she's a girly girl will cause her to flip her crap. She respects strength, to the point that she'll fight alongside someone that she views as powerful against a common enemy in the hopes of being able to fight them one on one later.
Background:The fourth child of a married woman, and the only one born of an affair, Tara has had to fight for everything she has from the very beginning. Her oldest sibling was the smartest, the next the popular kid, the third the musician-so she's the athlete, taking to boxing like nobody's business. Until her first match she had no idea that her prowess was the result of her having an immortal parent-after a brutal, runaway victory, Ares came up to her and explained the situation, only managing to enrage her by saying that she was so good not because of the work she put into it but because of her immortal heritage. The Academy was the logical step after that, a place where she could compete against those with the same ancestry as herself.
Extra: My favorite is Hades.
Godly Parent: AresRelationship With Godly Parent:How to put this... Tara respects and cares for her father, but doesn't especially like him. That is, he's stronger than her. And she resents that. That being said, she does appreciate how powerful he is and is fiercely protective of his reputation. In terms of meeting him, he's come to most of her boxing matches and birthdays, but her standoffish attitude means they aren't on the best of terms.
Godly Abilities:All Aboard the Pain Train: Tara's physical abilities are amped to their maximum adrenaline capabilities for an extended period of time, her strength, speed, durability and endurance taken to nearly superhuman levels.
Combat Ready: Tara can summon full combat gear (armor and a random weapon) at any time.
War's Child: This ability grants Tara automatic mastery of any weapon she chooses to use, but it must have been intended as a weapon- a hair straightener would not work, for example.
Insane Fury: Tara can inspire crazed anger in one person nearby for a limited amount of time.
