The Gallant would be moving through space at a decent pace, heading towards a very popular planet called Lonus, a metropolis type planet nearly covered in a single city. It would be a place full of people who would be wanting jobs fulfilled. Which was the entire reason The Gallant was heading there. The Gallant had barely any supplies on it, just enough to make it to their destination, but not enough to last them more than a few days after they make it, so they would have to find work fast.

Charles was pacing in the science lab and medical bay wearing a long white lab coat, looking at data streaming across a paper thin object in his hand, that was primarily simply a hologram that is solidified as a phyiscal object. only real thing in his hand would be a corner piece that is a small device. he groaned some scratched his chin slumping into his chair tossing it onto a table. the lab would be small, there was 2 beds in there, with medical equipment on one side of the room, while on the other side was a small science lab, with some equipment, though all the equipment of the room was somewhat outdated and some was in need of repair. He hopped he could find some information in his crazy experiments, being a Cybertronian he liked doing things a lot of people wouldn't dream of doing both for ethical reasons and common sense, that he could sell when they got to the planet to get some extra cash. He knew they had very little to their name currently. He had hoped his experimentation with some of the extra disposable weapons that was un-functional and beyond repair, that they had gathering dust in the cargo bay, would bring light to some brand new creation which he could sell off for a high price. Yet the experiment failed, he didn't have enough data to complete his project, he needed more in order to complete it, and there was no way he was going to get it, not with what they had left onboard.

An almighty racket could be heard from within the cargo bay of the Gallant. The veritable chorus of thumping and slamming was the sound of the "muscle" of the crew Rakans'mei Jakarta -better known by his friends as Rocky- moving things around in preparation for the next load of supplies that he and the others were going to be picking up on the next planet. Rocky hefted a massive metal crate over his head and shoved it into a storage shelf, an action which was preformed with ease despite the fact that the contents of the crate brought it's weight to about at least three hundred pounds. The Skalen secured the crate with several straps and stepped back to wipe a scaly hand over his brow. the action was, admittedly, a rather pointless one, as he and his kind lacked sweat glands and pours to actually secret the cooling liquid. It was something that Rocky had picked up, a gesture which believed to mean that one was content with their hard work paying off.

The Skalen turned away from the secured crate to take a good look at his surroundings, he wanted to be certain that everything was in place for loading and unloading supplies. The cargo hold was the largest room in the ship, and yet, much like the rest of the ship, it was still rather small, especially for Rocky's hulking frame. There was no decor to speak of in the room, that is, unless one counted dozens of neatly stacked boxes of varying size as decor. The interior walls were the same shade of metallic grey as the hull of the ship, the floor; a basic series of grates that could be lifted away to either store a few small items below them in a pinch, or to add extra height for massive items. The main source of lighting in the room was a series of overhead lamps that Rocky usually kept off due to the annoying buzzing sounds that they produced. Instead he relied on both his natural senses and a series of LED strips that ran along the two wall of the cargo hold, all the way up to the stairs and door to the main ship to get around the room.

With the last of the boxes secured Rocky slid down into a seated position on the ground and fished an inhaler from his jacket pocket. Moving the boxes wasn't really that a strenuous task, however, the lower oxygen levels of the ship and of the planets that he and the others frequently visited often left him short of breath a lot sooner than he was comfortable with. His inhaler was rather simple in design: A breathing mask not too dissimilar from those used in human hospitals. It's only differences where that it sported a vial of blueish green liquid attached to where a hose would have gone, the fact that it was made of flexible graphene rather than plastic or glass, and the fact that it was far larger than something used by the average human. Rocky pressed the mask to his face and breathed in, pulling the liquid from the vial and into the mask where it would be turned into mist and breathed in. He did this twice, then folded the mask and placed it back into his pocket before sitting back onto the shelf and resting a bit in the darkness of the cargo hold.

X was in the engineering bay, not big by any means. It paled in comparison to his old shop, it had enough room for a full set of 'all-most' state of the art tools and a few repair bays/areas to build junk. Currently he was in the process of building a new and better engine from the random parts and scrap they'd picked up scattered across the bay, why buy when you can build?

Clanging and sounds of welding were prominent day and night in his bay, not needing to sleep only fueled his work further. He also worked on a new plasma rifle for him to incorporate, but currently it was just a frame with a fuel cell, not even close to completion.

The engine, however, was nearly completed. He just needed a few more parts, of which he could rip from the old engine once they docked somewhere. He grinned in excitement of finally getting to use his superior engine, it was as good, maybe slightly better, than some of the more expensive engines you could buy.

The sizzling of welding and clanging of hammering continued, much to the annoyance of anyone close by. His room was directly connected to the bay, it was really mostly just spare part storage accompanied by a TV and some designs.

Nothing special.

As time passed the three crew members continued on with their usual plans, it would be a few hours before Charles would soon receive an alert on one of his computers. He would then head out towards the bridge and check the systems there taking a seat humming to himself. then he'd pick up the faulty announcement mic and spoke "we're 15 clicks out, prepare for arrival guys." he states "Once we drop off the delivery and sell what we have planned, we need to hunt for nearly any kind of job you can find." he says "Once we get a good amount of money and supplies, we'll choose our next destination" Thanks to the Mic his voice is projected through the speakers, the volume would be moving up and down, yet another thing that needed repaired.

Before he'd even knew it Rocky had begun to drift off into sleep, mostly unbothered by the sounds of clanging in the engineering bay just one room over. Though it had been difficult in the beginning, the skalen had learned to adjust to the sounds of metal on metal that were near perpetual thanks to the lack of a need for sleep for X. These were sounds that he could sleep through. The intercom however was another story. Rocky's head snapped up almost instinctively as the radio crackled to life, his pupils narrowed and then expanded a bit to accommodate the low light setting in the cargo bay. Were it not for his lack of lips, the skalen would have very likely given a rather impressive grimace as the intercom's audio levels fluctuated several times. Still, he couldn't remain annoyed for very long, after all, the prospect of a job to bring in more money and supplies was enough to put the proverbial bit back in his teeth.

Rocky waited until the announcement was done before he slowly got up and sauntered towards the engineering bay. His arrival was mostly masked by the clanging sounds within the bay, though he did give himself away with a small stumble when the light of a welding torch caught his eyes. Rocky watched with razor thin pupils as his crew mate and friend X hammered away at some new device that would probably take the better part of half an hour to be explained to him. He considered waiting until X was done to speak This consideration was brief, and was rather quickly dropped in favor of simply letting out a loud grunt to catch X's attention "Hey, the hell is wrong with the intercoms? I though you fixed 'em all ready." he asked over the sounds of metal working. A single sentence was all it took to understand why 'Rocky' had received his name. The skalen's voice was extremely deep and gruff, somewhere between the sound of a diesel truck starting up and the voice of a man who had just spent the last five years smoking a pack of cigarettes every day.

@MonsieurShade "I did fix them...they must've broken again. If it's not one thing it's the other around here.." X replied calmly while continuing his work. "I have a few small things I made that'll hopefully get us some money. What's stocked in Cargo again?"

He continued beating and welding on the engine, eventually stopping. "Best I can do with current parts.." he said, mostly to himself.

He turned to face Rocky, wiping oil off of his face. "You get Cargo packed and ready to go? If not, I'll help. Not much else I can do here." He asked.

In truth, there was a number of things he could tinker on and potentionally make explode, but he'd been rather anti-social lately, he really needed to talk to these guys more if he was going to travel with them.

Charles would breath deeply as he watched a speck begin to grow bigger in size through the cockpit, until they was before a huge planet. he would hail the security force so they wouldn't be attacked for entering the atmosphere, once they have been given permission to land, he would take them down to the designated landing pad. Once landed he received a hail welcoming them, and he sends one back "Good to be here" he says then gets up stretching before heading back down to the lab to grab the things he has planned to sell, then heads down to the cargo bay so the bay doors can be opened if Rocky hasn't already opened them.

Rocky snorted and rubbed his scaly head with a massive hand as X lamented the shoddy quality of some of the ship's features and inquired about the latest batch of cargo begin shipped, "What's the term the humans use? Preaching to the...chapel? Wait, that don't sound right. Anyway, I got everything packed, but don't know what we've got since I gave Charles the manifest without checking. It'll probably be the usual junk though: edibles, parts for bigger ships, artifacts, might even be a weapon crate or two floating around here somewhere. Pretty sure we'll figure it out when we land.". As if on cue the ship rumbled and came into contact with solid ground, "Speak of the devil. Guess I better go open the bay doors.".

Rocky took a brief moment to peek over X's shoulder to see what the guy was making, working with technology wasn't quite the Skalen's strongest point, however he was hardly opposed to learning about machinery where he could. Hey considered asking about what X was currently cooking up, but with the sound of Charles entering the cargo bay he decided that his main priority was to prep everything for unloading. Rocky turned and ducked back out of the workshop, cutting off Charles with just a few short steps just as he was coming down the stairs. "Gettin' the doors now." Rocky rumbled as he grabbed the remote for the bay doors that danged from the ceiling. The device looked like a toy in Rocky's hands despite the fact that it was the same size and width of a brick, it was also durable like a brick to prevent it being destroyed by Rocky if his attention slipped and he happened to squeeze down on it. The skalen carefully pressed the blinking red button with a claw tipped finger and turned to look at the bay doors expectantly. The cargo hold was slowly flooded with sunlight as the door began to descent outwards to create a ramp. Rocky turned to look at Charles, doing the best he could to give the impression that he was raising his brow, "Please tell me that this is a high oxygen rock. We've got a lot of stuff to unload.".

X shrugged as Rocky left, gathering up what he had made. He already had a list as well as a list of parts needed to complete the new engine and repair the comms, again. X had made a custom made shield capacitor, two, actually. Highest quality you could make, given the parts. Which would put it at about mid-value on the market. One for the ship, one to sell.

Should fetch a good amount. He also made a modified plasma gun, it overheated much slower than normal and was highly effecient on plasma cells. Normally, he'd Incorporate it, but they needed cash so he didn't.

Only two items, but he needed the parts for repairs on the engine. He put the pistol in a satchel and slung it over his shoulder. Picking up the Capacitor, which was nearly as tall as him, and walked over to Cargo.

"I have this to add with whatever we're selling, already made one for the ship to..it's a shield capacitor. About mid-quality, should be worth a good bit. Oh, also a pistol." X said. "I'll load help unload the crates too, also Rocky. The thing behind me was an engine, incase you were wondering. Only needs a few more parts before its completed."

Charles chuckled at rocky with his trying to make an expression, then looking to X as he entered and spoke. He returned his look to rocky, "I don't think there is much planets with as high oxygen as your use to" he says "this one has a little higher than normal but not a lot" he says "sorry for that man." He pulled out his hologram tablet and looked at it "hm.. we have a crate of toys to be delivered to an orphanage, and two crates of medical supplies that need to be taken to a hospital... Saint Kalagon, it's probably our furthest location to reach" he says "the market is a few blocks to the north, should be bit easy to sell anything." he says starting to move to the ramp and walk down it into the sunlight.

The Space port would be vey active, both machines and people moving crates, barrels, and other storage devices around by various means. Space ships would be coming and going almost just as fast as they arrive. There would be all kinds of races running around, tending to their own businesses and jobs.

Rocky's shoulder's and spirits slumped a bit at the news of the planet's oxygen level, though he abruptly ended his self pity party as Charles made his way towards the bay doors and started to go into detail about what was being shipped where. The skalen walked over to a nearby table and moved a few things around before he picked up a metal rod with a bright green button in the center. Rock gently tapped the green button and was quickly greeted by a foot long hardlight screen and a rectangular picture. He tapped the picture with a claw and watched as it rotated, taking on a more 3D design and bringing up a small list of stats. The skalen glimpsed each start before tapping a small indicator that popped up in the upper left corner that read "on". There was a slight rumbling behind Rocky, and as he turned the hover trolly that sat next to the pile of the current planet's shipments hummed to life and began to levitate a few inches off of the ground.

"We delivering toys now? That's...that's a new one if i'm honest. Where do you think these guys got the money to buy an entire crate worth of toys?" Rocky questioned as he went and began to load up the supplies.
