Okay guys, I should have an opening post up tonight. If you have not submitted a CS and/or your new race do try and finish it out as best and quickly as you can so that you can get them in and we can all get this rolling. I will be starting with students arriving at their dorms and moving in their smaller items, furniture and what not will already have been placed in the rooms and set up. In the evening there will be a feast of sorts and then a welcome back/Autumn Equinox ball the next night.

Star Children

Physical Description
Because of their heritage Star Children look like regular humans. They can be any sex, race, size, height, and have any level of attractiveness. What separates them from normal people is their abilities and The Burst, the flickering moment where they show the other half of their heritage. Star Children are deeply tied to light and each Child has their own color. Their eyes faintly shimmer and passionate moments cause light to shine through their chests. However this is brought to the extreme when they Burst, becoming beings radiant light.

The Burst is heavily influenced by emotions, only flaring up in the extremes. Anger and despair can cause untold destruction, while compassion and love can heal. Beyond the Burst each Star Child can either create and project waves of plasma or become a living philosophers stone. Not surprisingly each Star Child is immune to heat, fire, and plasma in equal measure.

Culture
As they are children of man there is no defined culture among Star Children, instead being largely influenced by their environment. Meaning they can be anyone and come from anywhere. However every single one feels an attachment to the stars, a sort of belonging that they can't get on earth.

Health Information
Little is known on how Star Children work, even amongst themselves. They don't need things essential to human survival like eating or drinking. Some even eschew sleeping, preferring to stay awake at all times. Beyond that however they are normal flesh and blood, claiming no resistances to anything in particular. In fact even the Burst will kill them if active for more than a couple minutes. Finally, if nothing else kills them, age will. Star Children are physically human minus their abnormalities and will only live about 100 years, aging normally.

Strangely enough they leave no body behind in death, instead going into one more Burst before disappearing.

Species: Star Child

In Depth Physical Description: Johnny's eyes are amber in color, glowing softly at all times. He stands at a flat six feet and has a toned body earned through years of exercise. Getting ready for the day is fairly simple as Johnny just puts on whatever closest, usually graphic T and a pair of jeans. As far as body art goes Johnny is fairly plain, only having his earings. Scars are a little more prominent, having small nicks all around his hands, surgery scars over his tibia, a small gash over his right eyebrow, and a ragged circular scar from a stick going through his right side.

Personality: Johnny is a quiet person by nature, using small sentences and body language to express himself. Should you gain his friendship you will find him more talkative but not by much. He isn't reliant on others for support and does not look for it, preferring to sort out problems by himself. Johnny tends to not sleep, instead you will usually find him staring into the night sky in wistful contemplation.

Hobbies: Rock climbing, playing the guitar, singing, and crafting jewelry

Hey guys I am introducing a new sort of cryptid for play. They are called The Gifted they will be sort of demigod like creatures who resemble humans but have "gifts" odd sort of powers that come from their family origins (there will be many to choose from if your creative).
