...Just going to repost Galatea's sheet here for now, since I seem to suck at thinking up a sample post for her. ^^; Oh well. Hopefully Double won't take too much longer, and I actually have an idea for a sample post for that one in mind so yeah. XD

• Character You Would Like to Play: Galatea
• Real Name: Galatea, although occasionally uses the pseudonym "Karen Starr".
• Canon or OC: Canon
• Character Alignment: Villain
• Appearance/Costume: In costume. Due to her intended purpose as a weapon, she doesn't own much in the way of casual clothes. If she does, it'd probably be something like this. Despite the fact that she's smiling in both those picture, don't expect her to be doing much of that; her expression is usually either blank or angry.
• Origin/History of Your Character: Unlike more people, Galatea wasn't born. She was made to order. Developed by Project Cadmus, an organization who believed that those with superpowers were a threat to national security and needed to be contained, she is a clone of Supergirl artificially aged to her physical prime and created to serve as a weapon to take down any rogue metahumans. That was all she was ever treated as, a weapon. In the eyes of all but one of the scientists who made her, she was just a tool for them to use against those with superpowers, and not a real person. The way she was treated was simply abominable, too: when she wasn't out on missions she was kept inside a room bathed in artificial red sunlight to keep her in check, and all her life she had been indoctrinated and practically brainwashed into believing Cadmus's beliefs. Eventually, Professor Hamilton, the one man who treated her like an actual living creature, could take it no more. Risking his career, he ended up setting things up so that Galatea could escape and be free from Cadmus's control. Confused by her new surroundings and still unable to forget the doctrines of Cadmus, she has tried her best to maintain a normal life, but such a thing is currently impossible for her. In the end, when she's not been duped by supervillains into helping them commit crimes, she's been attacking metahumans on instinct, unable to shake off her mental conditioning.
• Powers and Abilities:
•• Superhuman physique: As a Kryptonian, Galatea gains superhuman abilities whilst under a yellow sun. Her strength and stamina is far beyond human limits, and her body is nigh-impervious to harm. Aside from the most excessive of force, her only real weaknesses are the radiation emitted by Kryptonite, and magic, which she possesses no special defences against. In addition, her speed and reflexes are far greater than that of any human, although her running speed still pales in comparison to her flight speed. She will begin to lose her powers if she is removed from yellow sunlight for a prolonged period of time, and red sunlight will instantanteously remove all of her superpowers as long as she is under it.
•• Flight: Galatea is able to fly unaided, at such speeds that she can easily break the sound barrier.
•• Super Senses: Just like her body, Galatea's senses are all honed to superhuman levels. Of most note is her vision; not only is she able to see things from miles away, but she also possesses both x-ray and heat vision.
• Weapons: N/A
• Supporting Cast: Project Cadmus, specifically Professor Hamilton (her father figure) and Amanda Waller (head of Cadmus). Most of them aside from Hamilton are currently after her head.
• Other: Due to being created to act as a weapon, Galatea is not used to showing emotion. Usually, her expression is either blank, but she can be easily angered due to not knowing how to react to a lot of things. She is used to taking orders; as such, she is easily duped and somewhat gullible, especially if the one giving her orders has no metahuman abilities. On that note, as she was designed to fight rogue metahumans, she currently finds it rather difficult to remain calm around them due to her conditioning. It only takes a small spark for her to lose her temper with them.

So um, hope my first post was okay. I really like playing James. Also anyone have any ideas for what his Supranym should be in case I don't have him take over as Captain America?

So, a Star Spphire, a Blue Lantern, and a Green Lantern, all off which are hated by the Red Lanterns. Looks like you guys won't have to worry about finding a suoer to fight!

Also, Captor. I do apologize if my posts against your character made you feel like you were being overly criticized or something. Submitting a character for an RP can be a rather anxious thing, if that makes any sense. I will say though that the Star Sapphires are pretty much all female, so a good alternative for them woukd be an Indigo Lantern, which is powered by compassion. That spectrum of light is right next to the Star Sapphires anyway.

I've checked the wiki, and it says that men are allowed to use the Sapphire Rings. Hell, Guy Gardner used a Red Ring and a Sapphire Ring at the same time (although it was hard for him). And while the cannon Sapphire Corp doesn't have any men in it, it's more because they haven't found one worthy to be in it yet. Although It should also be noted that the Entity of Love did possess a man, making him effectively a member of the Star Sapphires during the possession. I was fully aware that most Star Sapphires are female when I revamped Jason's CS. That's why I made his power ring a keepsake from his mother, and why he's called Star Adam (first man)

Also, here's a quote from the Green Lantern Wiki; "According to Geoff Johns in an interview, the way the Star Sapphires Rings work is that they seek out hosts or representatives that the ring comes down and finds somebody who has a hole in their heart and knows the loss of love." That's the reason I made him an orphan in his back story. If I changed him into an Indigo Lantern, I would have to completely change his back story again, which I really don't want to do unless I have to.

If you were just making a suggestion because you thought I was unaware that most Star's were girls, then thanks. However, I have read a lot of the Green Lantern Wiki before, and I think I know a fair amount about the corps and the power rings. The only reason I didn't realize that White Lantern's were op was because I thought that there greatest power was destroying Black Lantern Rings, and that that's how the White Lantern power was able to save the day in the Blackest Night event

I'll be the one to introduce the Symbiotes. Just focus on establishing your character and his role in the world. By the time we reach Page 3 or 4 in the RP, I'll have inteoduced the Symbiotes for you and Aven.

Alright, cool then. I usually read the wiki to inform myself of the other corps too since really I only like reading the comics with the Red Lanterns in them, but now I do recall actually seeing that Star Sapphires could have men in them.
Nice reference with the Adam thing though.

Character You Would Like to Play:
The Joker

Real Name:
Unknown

Canon or OC:
Canon

Character Alignment (Hero, Villain, or Walking the Line):
Villain

Appearance/Costume:

Origin/History of Your Character:
Not much is known about the history of the Joker, or how he came to be the Joker for that matter. Some say that he fell into a pot of acidic, radioactive, material that forever changed his appearance. Others say that he was an abused child and had gotten irreversible scarring on his face along with severe mental trauma which caused him to turn into psychopath. These are among the two most widespread rumors, of course there are many others, some as wild as saying that he was born that way after having the demon of chaos possess his mother.

It is clear, however, whatever the truth may be, that the Joker is extremely secretive about his past before he became what he is. His immediate history however, is of common knowledge. Causing the death of hundreds of civilians for the sake of showing the "true" nature of man, killing political leaders, and many attempts at controlling the country, all of them failed due to the Batman.

Powers and Abilities (If Any):
Inability to feel pain.

Weapons (If Any):
He carries a small dagger, poison gas, a few bombs, razor sharp cards, and whatever other weapons he would need during a planned situation.

Supporting Cast (If Any):
Harley Quinn

Other:

Sample Post (must be a minimum of 2 paragraphs with at least 2 lines of dialogue from your character):

Hmmm, so... Whilst I'm still writing up Double, I do want to use a third character, but... I want to use a more outright villainous villain to make up for the fact that I don't think Galatea is going to stay a villain for very long, but the only ones that seem to be springing to mind right now are Lex Luthor and the Great Leader of Shocker (possibly taking the form of Tsukasa/Decade, but we'll see) and I'm not so sure about those two. For one thing, always kind of hesitant to go with major villains for fear of hijacking the plot. ^^; Hurm.

Yeah, I think it has something to do with the chemicals he fell into during his origins as Red Hood. Aside from disfiguring him and making him insane, he was rendered totally immune to most forms of pain (which is why he can take an excessive beating from Batman). He can feel it, but he just needs a large amount of beatings in order for him to feel agony.

And accepted.
