[IC] The Quest for Loki's Rebirth

Varia nods and gets out of bed only in a tank top and underwear. She didn't really care, she knew Loki wasn't going to care. And she rushed to her jeans and throw them on with a long sleeved blouse and her leather jacket, finally followed by her boots and she grabbed her gun. "Ready!"

"we are going to need a LOT more then human help on this one" he sighed gently as he knew what he was going to have to do, he was gonna hate himself for it but ....he needed, thunder he needed someone strong . Yep Loki would have to ask Thor for help even if he didn't want it.

"we need Asgardian help, god I don't want to seak with him or............that one eyed asshole" mutters gently as he had to get Thor to help even if it killed him.

Varia looks at him with worry and approached him. "Hey." She put a hand on his shoulder. "Sometimes we have to bite the bullet. Take one for the team." She tells him as her eyes sparkled gently. Her heart was kind and warm, in these rare moments she displayed a certain amount of wisdom about her.

"Whatever it is. We can work it out. I'm sure of it."

Loki sighed gently and smacked his head on the wall before he just nodded "very well fine I'll go but if i get banished to Midgard forever I'm killing myself" he said as he walked out slowly his magic coming back his form shifted into his armored form and eyes narrowed as he spoke words to hamdell and he was wrophed to Asgard. he came walking into the palace servants backed away as he walked past them and right to the throne room.

"Odin, Thor I must speak with both of you, I have.....troubling news and unfrounately requires more then mortal protection of earth" he said a bit angry he had to come here but hell he wasn't getting framed again.

Odin stands up slowly and thumpshis spear on the ground. "How DARE you come back here!"

"Father please!" Thor interrupts him and comes between the two. "We discussed this remember. He's doing better, Heimdall told us." He insisted and Odin sit back down sighing. "If it were not for Frigga and Thor's love for you Loki, you'd be banished for good. Thank your lucky stars." He spits reluctantly. "And if you say you need help, then you must be desperate to come to us..."

Loki ignored the old bastereds rage toward him and sighed gently hearing the last line and suckd up his pride and sollowed it and closed his eyes "Yes, yes I am desperate, and maybe thats a good thing" he said opening his eyes and looking at the all father "Maybe its good I was allowed to leave this place maybe here was the problem the entire time eh ? funny" he said slowly and then looked at Thor slowly.

"What worlds do we actually have good realtions with ? We got a huge problem flaoting to earth that even I can't stop alone and the avengers will die trying if help is not given to the earth dewelers" He said slowly his eyes where deep and for the first time honest "Thanos is sending pretty much an entire force against earth and Asgard, saw it in my dream and I saw something I rather not speak of or wish to happen hence why I dare warn you now"

Thor grasps Mjolnir. "Then we must assemble once more! We cannot allow this to happen."

Odin stands up. "I shall protect Asgard with Heimdall. Thor, you aid Earth with Loki." Thor knew his father's scepter would be more than a match for any army and nodded in agreement. He steps down to his brother.

"One day, you may be worthy of Mjolnir, brother." He pats him on the back with a smile.

Loki looekd at Thor and sighed gently " Keep Mjolnir Thor, I have no need for it or its worthy tests" he saisd calmly as he no longer wanted to be a high ruling prince he just wanted peace and quite but he knew that was a long ways away. He sighed as he walked back out to the rainbow bridge his eyes tired, he had not slpet in forever and he wasn't going to be sleeping for a while. he sighed as Hanmdell opened the portal as he and Thor jumped through and they came to earth as Loki saw they where outside of Varia house and nodded his head gently. "besides the hammer fits you betetr, I like my daggers and magic"

"Thor I really Really hate to say this but .....have we ever made a peace treaty with frost giants?" he asked, if they could at least get a few of the frost giants as warriors to help aid then they might just stand a chance but then another thought came up " Okay another less risky idea..... Fenrir and Hel?"

"Frost Giants??" Thor raised an eyebrow. "The people who forsook you and cast you out? No we have never struck a truce with them. Especially for this reason."

Varia came running out of the house and ran upto the brothers with a smile. "Thor! I'm glad to see you're helping us." She pats his arm, she didnt want to be too buddy buddy with the Thunder God.

Thor nods at her. "Always happy to help the people of Earth." He then turns back to Loki. "Hel and Fenrir? Are you...sure about this..?"

"Oh come on they are harmless as long as I am around, Sure fenrir bit you and tossed you around but you did kick me across a field" he said smirking gently rolling his eyes "Look its risky but we got to at least try " he said urgently. Now Hel was a young girl trapped as ruler of Hel, Fenrri was tied up to a mountain unable to move and just snap his jaws at you but he was one of the kindest wolves around near his mother.

"look for all the times I asked you to trust me now is the time to actually take it to heart Thor" loki said slowly as he knew just getting his kids out of their imprisonment would be hard enough its harder to stop a force of billions of evil if you got nothing else helping you

Thor grunts. "Alright, I'll trust you this time." He sighed as he knew he was going to regret this.

Varia looks at them both, seeing them get along so much better it warmed the heart. Somewhere deep down she felt she had no place in this battle. What could she do? She was a nothing, a nobody.

She kept up her smile and wished them luck with their endeavor. "I'll look after Jane for you, Thor." Even if she had to die doing it.

He smiled down at her. "Thank you, Varia. That means a lot to me."

loki looked at Varia and walked over, god he was going to slap himself for this later he pulled her into a hug and mutters "thank you" he pulled back and looked at her "Do something for me Varia, stay alive and if you see any alien shoot them deadplease" he smirked gently as he messed up her hair and then sighed "Okay well i shall get Fenrir since I am sneaky, Thor you think you can handle Hel?" he asked looking at the thunder god. hel was young teenager but hell she could pack a punch in a fight being the goddess of the under world. Fenrir was cloest with Loki in bondage form, hel was next and then there was thr world serpent.

Varia nods at Loki "Will do, God of Mischief! Stay safe!" And then she runs off to find Jane, calling her on the phone.

Thor spins Mjolnir in readiness for flight. "I'll handle my niece don't you worry. Ready, Brother?" It was just like old times, Thor felt the thrill of it all coming back to him.

Loki smirked eyes glowed before he said "good luck" he then vanished off to the mountains chambers on Fenrir the wolfs ears perked hearing stepping and barked lunging but chains stopped him then wagged his tail seeing his mother.

Hel was bored on hell using her cell phone till she hears craving thunder the teenager looked over "Uncle what must be so good you come here?"

Thor approaches Hel. "Your father is in need of your help, little one." He asked as he wielded his hammer.

Meanwhile Varia races to her unmarked cop car. She found her way to Jane's apartment and knocks frantically on the door. Jane opens the door to her with somewhat confusion. "We have to get you some place safe. Where is the safest place on this planet?" She asked, panting,

Jane blinks. "Um...SHIELD headquarters I think." She tells her and Varia ushers her to pack her belongings. She tells her to bring Darcy with her. And the three women make their way to SHIELD HQ.

"Why are we going there?" Darcy asked in the back of the car. "I think something really bad is gonna happen..." Varia tells them both as she swerved a car in front and had her cop lights blaring.

Hel rolled her eyes "he doesn;t wish to have me ever help must be bad enough" said boredly as she got up and sighed "and where are we going?" she asked a bit annoyed thats for sure she had her fatjer attuide. She sighed and nodded "very well I guess I can help with it" she said boredly at least she get some excitment in her life.

Lioki had gotten the wolf free and came back to earth with the massive wolf who barked and winced at the sunlight and then sat down his masive fuzzy fur dark against the sun. loki paced and thinks of idas seeing Thor come back with hel "Hey Hel" he said opening his arms happily and yelped as she punched him in the groin and he fell over as hel greeted her brother happily

Thor early falls about laughing at the sight. "Cant choose your family eh?" He applauded the young Hel. "That's my niece."

Varia pulls up outside SHIELD HQ with Jane and Darcy. Jane raised Selvig on the phone and he answers "Jane! How are ya?!"

"Selvig I'm outside your work. Let us in will you?" Jane asked him on the phone.

Selvig looks around "Huh? You're here?" He was SHIELD's top scientist and looked at the security cameras and saw them standing outside. He persuaded the agents to let them in.

Loki knew why hel acted so pissed at him and groaned in pain "I'm sorry already about that" he said as hel snorted and rolled her eye. Loki looked at thor and gave him the middle finger "Oh don't encourage her Thor" he said as he looked at thw two kids "Okay now we just need, avengers help. Which thor you will eb doing because I am going to die the second I set foot in that place" he shuddered gently though he had actually made friends with Tony and Bruce which was weird but he had pulled it off.

Thor shugs. "Sorry but that was your own doing." He quipped as the alien invasion were soon approaching. "I'll be back with the team." Thor tells them as he spins his hammer and flies high into the sky.

Thor lands at SHIELD HQ and walks right in through the roof's doorway and into the main control room. There he spots Jane, Varia, Darcy and Selvig. "Glad to see you all safe."

"Is THIS your doing?" Black Widow storms upto him and throws Loki's file in his face.

Thor sighs and Janes runs over to them. "It was both our ideas actually." She then looks at Varia. And it was then she knew. They had used her just to get Loki out. Varia felt so stupid. "I see now...you didnt want Thor in trouble so you count on good ol' Varia, the poor sap to feel sorry for Loki and let him out?!" She angrily accused, who she thought was her friend.

Jane goes to her. "No...it wasn't like that V..." She tried to take Varia's hand in a friendly grasp but Varia steps away. "No! It's exactly like that!" She shouted at her and Thor. "How could you do that to me? I was perfectly happy before you came along and whisked me off to Asgard for a little "stroll" and now I'm caught up in a web of lies - who at the HEART of it all is THE GOD OF LIES who I can't get out of my fucking head!" Varia ranted as she goes mental. "Just how could you do that to me..?" Varia had tears in her eyes. A lowly mortal who a God could never have any feelings for and she was trapped by it. There was nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

"My, my....got ourselves into a bit of a pickle have we?" Came Captain America's voice from behind them all. Varia turns around to see Steve Rogers and gasps with awe. The Avengers leader himself. He stood there smiling quite curiously. Varia had admired this man ever since she joined the police.

"Oh hush your mouth young Lady none of that was the reason they came to you for" said a voice that came from Tony as he came forward "loki told me somethings I think you be interested in V, Like how he started to have feelings for you but hid them so if he should die you wouldn;t be burdanded with the pain of his death. Also he also speaks very fondly of you when he was at the tower and I even put him on the lie detector and it never lied. He does have feelingas for you but hides them to keep you safe. Now if you are all done arguing then what is the plan?" he asked as he jumped seeing a lare wolf enter the room with a young girl on his back.

"Okay Now I am seeing things" tony said as fenrir laughed rolling his eyes as he barked gently as he spoke "What I have gathered from Mother Loki is that Thanos the mad titan king has gotten the infinty gems so there for seeing that Loki failed to take earth he decided to come himself and do what he had failed to do" the wolf spoke as Barton rested a hand on natasha to calm her down.

"Alright, so do we actually have a plan ? we can't go head first into fighting a entire army we need a little more imformation" said slowly looking at the other before loki appeared standinf beside varira "What do you need to know I can give you all you need to at least stop most of the army, to take on thanos personality any of you would be sucide regardless with the gems he has more power then thor and me and Frigga combined" he said slowly looking at the other with deep eyes.
