PersonalitySophia is a kind woman and her entire aura excludes this fact, however her body language to the trained eye betrays the more rough edge of prowess. Despite her introverted nature, Sophia tends to have a healthy amount of confidence for her station among the knights, often surprising others when she doesn't seem so meek as they once thought. Other than this, she is a romantic at heart while pessimistic about her chances, continues to wait for the right person.
BackgroundSophia was born in a town near the royal castle of Jeril and so when she was growing up as a little girl, she always romanticized the idea of being a knight. Unlike other girls, that wanted to be the princess, Sophia had an underlying drive to help people. Instead she daydreamed of knighthood and finding the prince, though sometimes (more than she cared to admit back then) she imagined a warrior princess. Her childhood didn't make it easy though, as she was a bastard child of an elven man who skipped town and a mother that refused to kill her own child. This made her an easy target, despite the general acceptance of elvenkind - it was more that she was different than anything else and that was enough for some people.
Her childhood years were spent hiding away in libraries and the forest, taking equal times to explore the woods alone and undetected and with her nose in the books. However upon entering her teenager years, things began to change. She spent more time shadowing knights and their companies until it was too dangerous and paying a bit too much attention to any of the women knights - both out of pride and interest. It was the year when her mother passed from sickness that she met Certil, one of the elven knights. Forming a quick bound, he took her under his wing and provided her both a spiritual brother and a caretaker during her hard times, but it wasn't hard for the man to see potential in the girl.
Shortly after the war involving the
Soul Eater, Sophia was then introduced into the irregulars as a scout, Certil recognizing the young woman's talent for staying hidden. She worked under the command of a Knight Scout Commander, Gianna, a beautiful woman that was hard not for Sophia to take notice of. Though nothing ever did happen, Sophia's unknown fancy for the woman made it easy for Gianna to also take notice. Giving her a more advanced mission, Gianna ordered Sophia to a remote location that might house one of the true runes - though it was just a speck of a rumor that didn't warrant any more than a single scout.
The mission was more successful than anything thought it might be. Upon entering the location, Sophia was surprised as a bright light blinded her and before she could understand what had happened, a silvery bracelet sat tightly and yet comfortably on her wrist. Reporting back to her commanding officer, they gasped in awe at how the rune had been so quick to choose her, though some of Gianna's commanders wanted to scold her for being reckless - the scout commander held them off. Sophia was then given vacation for a couple weeks to become more familiar with the news powers and on her return, she was surprised with the reward of being promoted to Knight Scout.
