Maybe you should go ahead and move Elmina/Jacob back to the group? Might get people going, at least those that are waiting for something to happen.

I'm fine with new bods, but I agree with @JulienJaden. We should just get the gang back together and see if that sparks some fires.

@Atrophy Could be a lot worse. Basically everybody still seems to be in it, just busy with RL. I think once people have a little more breathing space, we'll be back on track. And some new faces can definitely help with that.

It's Christmas in a month, and if peoples jobs are as demanding as mine they won't be getting as much free time as you'd think.

I did ask for a post a week to keep this thing moving, which isn't much to ask for. I have also asked for people to keep touch in the OOC to tell us if they were going to be late with posts. I do not expect people to be active everyday, as my only free times to post are on a Thursday and Friday. I've also signed up for a few courses and have a lot of coursework to do. I have some that is due in tomorrow and I've done less than a quarter of it, keep getting distracted.

I completely understand if people do not want to take part any more, have lost interest or just can't keep up. I have a tendency to lose interest in slow moving stories, and am already losing touch with Elmina. I also go through periods where I have zero interest in writing anything, and can guarantee that's coming up with the stress of Christmas. This place isn't life, it's just a hobby we all have and do not want anyone to see it as an obligation. But that being said, I do want to keep this somewhat active.

Myself and @Mateotis will collab on another post, get this baby shifted forwards a little to give you all something to do.

@Rosalind I can relate to that. Even presents and family things aside, I've got some midterms and presentations coming up on top of the usual coursework and parttime work, so I'm in the middle of some pre-Christmas madness myself.

Asking for one post a week is reasonable, no question there. With so many people stating that they are still in it, I really think it's not a lack of interest that's the problem - some don't have the time, others just don't know what to do or if what they have in mind is enough to justify a post.
That being said, I think it may not be unreasonable if everybody who's able posts whenever they can to keep this thing active. With you only getting a chance to post once or twice a week, I don't think you moving the story along whenever you can is too overwhelming. And even if it was, I think that's a small price to pay for keeping the RP as a whole lively.

Never too harsh. Spent a lot of time with family the past couple of days, so I had a lot of free drinks. That was nice. Then I spent too much on Christmas gifts (mostly for myself).

Now I'm just excitedly waiting for some others to post!
