[IC] Summer Camp for Supernatural Teens

[Im a huge mess]

Matthew winced slightly "Ok ok. I'm going." He then took a deep breath and stood up, walking to the camp counselors. "Uh hey, I'm Matthew and what I can do is make stuff turn into other stuff." He picked up several rocks and frowned slightly, concentrating. Slowly the rocks turned to small fluffy balls which then stretched out into what looked like clubs and turned back into fluffy balls. He then frowned more as the fluffy balls turned to candy, then to marble, then into metal and then finally back to rocks. Matthew smiled and dropped the rocks. "I can also make objects bend and stretch and stuff but it all depends on how malleable the object is." He then grinned slightly turned towards a boulder, he frowned again and the boulder turned into a large hunk of metal. Matthew took a deep breath and lifted his one hand, the metal started to stretch out. He moved his hand in the direction of Alyssa and the metal stretched towards her. He kept concentrating hard as the metal wrapped around her and picked her up. After holding her in the air for a few seconds then put her down. He made the boulder return to it's original state and went to sit back next to Alyssa.

Alyssa smiled at Matthew as he stood up to present his powers, as he introduced himself, she noticed the boulder turning into metal and that metal going towards her. It got wrapped around her and lifted her up, "W-Woah..!" her eyes widened, she wasn't scared but instead was excited to see this kind of power that Matthew possesed. As he placed her back down on the ground, Alyssa gulped slightly as she walked slowly to the center as the other students did. "My name is Alyssa, it is nice to meet you all but I don't think I should use my abilities... they aren't that safe when I don't even know how to control them and I for a fact don't want to change the weather to something dangerous! I'm just saying." she nodded, turning around before walking towards Matthew, sitting down next to him, closer to him. Obviously, nervous that the teachers would not accept what she did.

"Alyssa you can not avoid your power forever. One of the reasons that you are here is to learn to control that. You cant do that if you don't practice using it. Not everyone had perfect control. As you saw with Ivy's fireball. We will keep anyone from getting hurt. That is our job. We will let you slide today but not all summer."The counselor told her in unison.

Aki was amazed by all of the great powers that everyone had. He was worried that he might mess up but he wanted to try something he hadn't tried before. Aki then walked toward the center area saying "I guess now it's my turn. I'm Aki and I can control the air. I have good control for making small breezes." As he said this he turned and called a breeze to pass by everyone at the pit. It was just like a summer breeze that people were used to this time of year. He continued saying "I have also used the air to bring things to me like telekinesis can do. But for this demonstration I want to try using the air to let me fly. Since I have never done this before I recommend you all stay away until the end."

With this he gave a slight bow and took a few steps back. Then took a deep breath. He hoped he didn't send himself flying off uncontrollably. Aki then started to make the air around his legs circulate to try and make an upward momentum. The air started slow then work it's way up to be faster. After a few seconds he started lifting into the air. He was nervous about messing up but kept going on. Then he just dropped unexpectedly he didn't land on his feet but fell right onto his butt. Aki was disappointed that he didn't get full lift off but was glad he wasn't hurt and no one else was hurt.

Kyle stood to his feet. He made sure that his sister's fireball was safely out. He was much more quiet and reserved then Ivy. They were polar opposites. His voice was soft when he introduced himself. "I apologize for my sister. Ivy get excited very easily. My name is Kyle and I can control water."He explained as he created a ball of water in his hands and began changing it into other shapes. His control was better then Ivy's. After a few shapes he silently returned to his seat.

Chiari sat down a distance away. Getting close to the group gathered still felt uncomfortable, but they were curious about the event. The counselors...I think they did say that observing was allowed. Making sure to find a spot where they could still see relatively clearly, the youth checked to make sure they were well out of sight before allowing themself to rest a little. Hugging the rucksack to their stomach, the concealed teen made a note to find a better hiding spot soon. There was only so long they could keep bending the light like this to stay unseen, after all.

For the moment, though, they scrunched up and settled for watching the odd activities the group seemed to be up to. It turned out to be quite...eventful.

There were people giving out some kinds of introductions, followed by what looked like...some sort of showing? The first person - that boy again - really went all out. It was hard not to jump at parts and be fascinated by the rest. It was...well-controlled, it seemed. Clearly he had more than a little practice.

The rest ranged quite a bit in ability, both type and capability, it seemed. It actually looked like fun. I might not have too bad a time here if I can really stay. I wonder what I would do if I had to stand there and do the same...

"Good. We are glad to met you all. Our next event is arts and crafts. We would like you to make something that tells us more about you. You may make anything you like. We have many art supplies in the cafeteria. Please ask if you have any questions."The counselors said as one indicated at a large building.

Valencia stood up from her place and blew out the candle and picked it up and puts it into her bag. She looked at the direction of where one counselor was pointing. Valencia looked at Link to see how he reacted to everyone since he act differently from everyone like he was nervous about some thing. "Humm... Something that tell's more about me..." she thought out loud and began to walk towards the building.

*Link actually smiles at the arts and crafts project. His mind already racing with ideas, effectively making him not fully pay attention to the world around him. His eyes seem a bit glazed over as he thinks, completly absorbed into his thoughts.*

Aki got up from where he fell down. He stayed there as everyone finished since he messed up. He looked up to the sky and thought what he could make to explain him. He had a few ideas but they all had a hint of his past he didn't feel like sharing. He continued to look up until he thought of something good. Aki then looked at the Cafeteria building and started walking toward it.

Kyle headed towards the building the counselors pointed. He was looking forward towards arts and crafts. He loved art. He usually spend whatever free time he had he spent painting. He hoped they had decent supplies. He was surprised when he saw what they had. It was like they had bought the craft store and put it in the room. There was every possible art supplies available. He just stood there and started for awhile.

When the odd activity had finally finished, Chiari rose quickly to preemptively avoid any possible rush and subsequent accidents. Following the directions given by the counselors, the concealed youth made their way to the building and stopped similarly in awe of the variety of materials available. They clearly want to kee everyone busy for as long as possible. How is this even managed?

It wasn't too long before the youth realized the disadvantage standing so close to the door might cause should anyone enter behind them, so they quickly moved off toward a painting easel for the time being and stood behind it to observe. Surely it would be easier to avoid accidents there.

Ivy wasn't big into art. That was her brother's thing. But she figured it wouldn't hurt to do something. The question was what. She looked around the room as she entered the room. It was Kyle's dream come true. There was ever art thing she had ever seen and many she hadn't. She frowned and slowly started to make her way around the room. She wanted metal if she could find it. That way she could use her power. She wanted to use her power as much as possible this summer.

Link enters the room and with a large smile heads over to the paints. He grabs water colors and various sizes in paint brushes then heads over to the easel. Of course, he isn't fulky paying attention finding that he is lost in thoughts of what all to paint. His smile broadens as he thinks of something.

Noah sat at the bench rather confused at the counselors request. Arts and crafts? Really? My entire ability is an extreme form of arts and crafts. And as for telling them something about myself... Noah thought for a while as the other campers started to make their way over to cafeteria/craft area.If I use my ability then what is the point of it? He rose to his feet and walked into the cafeteria, Glancing around, he saw smiling rather manically at an easel and several of the other students already creating something. He walked over to a table, grabbing some paper and colored pencils, staring at the sheet. In all different colors, he wrote "I am not good at regular art."

Valencia looked at all the crafting materials. Every thing that you could possibly need for crafting are there. Valencia looked at the others who had already sat down and worked on their crafts. She turned around to a closed where some colored pencil where. She picked up three sets of colored pencils in the order of the rainbow and walked around to find super glue. Valencia moved in frond of the easel and looked in the closets to find the glue. she saw that it was on the lowest level and lowers her self to pick it up. Valencia closed the closed and walked to the seat next to Link and laid the things down and took place.

Valencia looked at what Link was making. "What are you crafting?" she asked nicely and curios while looking at his work.

Matthew walked to the cafeteria and looked around. He wasn't very interested in doing anything arty. He instead went and leaned against a wall.

Link gives a large smile as he paints. "I am painting my home... well.. my old home" The painting looks like a small city under water. It looks as if the viewers are seeing it from a ledge, with the city small and in the distance. Around the viewer is a small amount of seaweed and various colorful varieties of sea life. Link seems to look longingly at the painting.

Valencia looked at the painting as Link answerd her question. "It's pretty." that was all she could say about it. She was a little confused that he told that it was his old home, because it is under water. Valencia looked back at him and smiled. "You are really good in painting." she said to compliment him. Valencia turned to the table and looked at what she had placed down. Then she grabbed the Colorado d pencils and stared to glue them together in a rainbow order.

The bell rang through the camp. "We will be serving lunch in about hour. You may consider this time free to do whatever you want to do. If you explore please do not go far and do not go alone." The counselor told them.
