If I remember correctly from the ooc. This takes place 8 years after the clone wars? That's 16 years in Clone years. If my Clone was in the thick of the fighting when he's 10 years old (20 in Clone years) and about 12 years old at the War's close, it's plausible. I did the math and there were Clone troopers still in the Imperial military according to wookiepedia.

*I'm just giving my reasoning. If the absolute final decision is no, then I'll write another one. Possibly for the rebels.

I'm not arguing that he's alive, I'm just saying Clones aren't in active service. I'm going with NuCanon, as you can stick to it and still have a lot of fancy pants EU stuff without us having to worry about how carefully we tread.

Essentially you need to remember a Clone Army is like, super expensive. Also when Palps decommissioned them it was mroe of a publicity stunt. If anyone wants to argue with my choice for going with NuCanon rather than EU... feel free.

Forgive me for possibly being rude when I say this, but I feel like there should be a cap on Imperial players soon. I mean, there's not much point in going with this conflict angle if there's no real conflict between players, is there? Plus, I would imagine that Rebels would add some much-needed diversity to the roster, what with being more open-minded about recruits, etc.

Technically we have three Imperial Characters (four if you count Loretta but she's more of a GM NPC). I'll take one more and then I'll close Imp Apps until the Rebel side picks up. Don't worry, I'll give you something to do.

@Notorious I'm not a GM, so nothing I say holds any weight, but I think your character would fit in better with the Rebels than the Empire. It's a cool idea you have there, and I've always had a fondness for badass old geezers.

Also, I based it off of the Clone Wars TV series. Much more superior show than Rebels imo even though they basically have the same creators :p There isnt a character in it like that but the concepts are all there

Unfortunately we are not accepting a clone given their NuCanon status, that of all clones being decommissioned by the emperor in 18 BBY as a PR move. The only place they still exist in an actual military role is in Vader's fist and even then they are starting to break down as far as combat skill goes. On another note, having talked with @Sep we've decided that the legends canon is considered apocryphal in this RP. Meaning that if it conflicts with the NuCanon it's out but anything you want to pull out of legends is acceptable, within reason of course.

Rebels Season 1 was very... meh until Tarkin showed up.

Season 2 is a vast improvement so far.

If you end up being a decommissioned clone who ends up fighting against the Empire, that would be acceptable.

I'd say so, like TCW the first couple of episodes are... meh.

It picks up though, also I'm yet to see any of the great scenery that they had in TCW but so far the characters have been at pretty minor planets in the outer rim.

Is there any criminal activity on Boonta? Do the Hutts and Imperials have some sort of understanding like they do on Tatooine?

I ask because I was thinking of making a Mercenary Captain with sympathies towards the rebels... but it wouldn't make sense if he was just randomly on Boonta. He would need a boss.

Speedy response, I know, but if you need names of crime bosses, the Hutt that the character I have in mind works for is called Spurr (and is based in Boonta City). Just throwing that out there in case the boss guys hadn't thought of a name already (and if they have, I'll change it pronto).

Also, I imagined that the Imperials would be working with the Hutts to keep a steady supply of Spice going... actually, maybe I should PM you.

Jedi are all but extinct, it would have to be a truly impressive sheet, and with a Jedi barely worthy of the title to be accepted. Then there's the obvious drawbacks a Jedi causes. Such as the attention of an Inquisitor and if the Inquisitor turns up dead... Darth Vader. If you do an amazing sheet worthy of acceptance as a Jedi. I'm going to say right now, he/she/they will not survive.
