The Havish Empire is, by origin of name, a haven consisting of people who lack the ability to use magic one way or another. It was established for them since its conception, and it stands today by their efforts. By all means, the Empire should've torn itself apart since it hosted races of all kinds that were stereotyped as bickering, including your average orcs, your less-than-stellar goblins, dwarves, half-elves, and so on and so forth. But you see, when everyone hates the same pale-skinned, sharp-chinned face and the smug grin that settles between those obnoxiously large eyes and pipe-length chin, it becomes really, really easy to want to split it in half with an axe...even if it take half a dozen fully grown males to do so.

And that's generally how the Empire got around to doing their things. Though their tactics were crude and their ways simple, the Empire's denizens no longer desired to become the breeding sacks of posh idiots, nor did any man within the Empire wanted to be subjected to another day's labor at the whim of another who could very well have easily done the entire labor under a minute.

It came to everybody's shock, then, that the Havish survived the last two decades in constant war against practically every magic-beholding race, including mankind, the elves and their variants, the wilderness filled with druids, the gnomes and the shorter races, the Orcs, and just about everything else that could communicate with spirits. Now, after being put on the defensive for so long, the Havish will take its first and last initiative, one that will sweep over the entire land and end the era of disparity.

It comes to reason that if you aren't too inclined to playing the "bad guys" in an RP, you can go on and skip this post. And by bad, I mean "spare no one and stack their skulls in a burning pyramid before melting all their gold to be re-purposed for monetary to fund the war effort" evil. Don't worry, I won't hold it against you if you can't axe children the right questions (because you will be, somewhere, some time).

For all those still reading, congratulations, you just got booted into the Havish Legion. You're now all Legionnares with your own skillsets and tools. You may have a ton of varying reasons as to why you'd EVER want to murder every last prick-eared pale-skin, as well as their cohorts, but to the Havish Empire, it's all very much the same : you're going to see this task through to the end, meaning the entire eradication of the culture of magic as the world knows it. The only thing you've got on you are the standard-issue Legionnare patches (literally square clothes sewn into your shoulder or chest) and whatever standard-issue swords the smiths could chuck out, but by hell that's all you're gonna need, given that your need to sate your bloodlust is strong enough.

So here, if you could just fill out this report below so we don't stick a bolt between your eyes next time we meet, that'd be much appreciated :

For the setting of the world (generally putting the extent of how powerful magic goes, what races there'll be, technology, etc.), I'll be "borrowing" EndMaster's world from the CYOA interactive-fiction game, Eternal :

http://chooseyourstory.com/story/eternal

And here's our map!

The Havish Empire is that land-locked section towards the East. Pretty big, huh?

If I can remember, the races of that world contained :
  • Humans
  • Orcs, goblinoids, etc.
  • Dwarves, though very few. Gnomes as well.
  • Elves, and Dark Elves (spare these for slave labor!)
  • Kobolds, gnolls, and other menial tribal races.
  • Wyverns, dragons, and other massive, slithery, scaly beasties.
  • Giants, trolls, and ogres, diversified in various harsh biomes.
  • Wendigos, wraiths, spectres, and other spookies.

There's probably gonna be more for the sake of diversifying targets and adding to the fun of tossing a variety of baby elves head-first into a brick wall. I'll have to see what works as time goes by, though.

Awooooooo!

...*cough cough*. I mean, LIZARD NOISES!

I'm not entirely sure when exactly I'll find the time to post up a character (maybe today, possibly tomorrow. The day after at latest I hope.), but I'd like to reserve a lizardman slot. And probably a big and stompy one at that.

Name: Mud
Aliases: Parod Bog
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Orc
Physical Appearance:
Mud is 6ft tall with clay coloured skin that is riddled with various scars and bite marks. His face is rather stern which is only emphasized by his black onyx eyes and bald head. He takes great pride in his full dark beard, which is a contrast to the resentment he feels for the lion head slave mark that covers his upper back. His lower tusks stick out of his mouth , but unfortunately his left tusk is mostly chipped away and now hanging around his neck as a make shift necklace. He has an average muscle tone for a man of his breed, which happens to be quite muscular as Orcs are well known for their strength.

Wealth Class: Slum dweller

Weaknesses, Drawbacks and Limitations:
*Illiterate
*Cynophobic (Fear of dogs)

Skills and Talents:
* Decent cook
* Veteran Gladiator (Sword and Shield)

Psychological Profile:
Suffers from night terrors
Personality.
Mud was born into slavery and as such has a rather narrow view point on other people listing them as rather: above, equal or below himself he doesn't believe in any kind of relationships aside from buisness and domination although he regards people as more or less valuable due to their personality. Mud is rather loyal to and tends not to betray the side he has joined, this however has not stopped him killing members of his own side if he views them as useless or wishes to recieve a promotion. He has a particular resentment of humans due to thier mistreatment of him during his slavery. Mud view magic to be a terrible and cruel thing as magic shock collars were used on the more free-willed slaves.
Mud wishes to use the Legion to gain money and renown in hopes of making his own mercenary company and with a slice of vengence on the side.

History/Bio:
Mud was born into slavery as a possession of humans. He never met his parents being sold to a new owner at birth. Mud was put to work in the kitchens from the age 4 and by the time he turned 13 he was a decent cook, however like most teenage orcs Mud suffered from a relentless hunger that led to him being caught stealing food from the kitchens. As a punishment he was tossed into a pen with hungry dogs leading to his cynophobia and scars. Mud was mostly dead by the time he managed to kill the dogs. The humans however were most displeased with his survival so they sold him into a arena combat. Mud survived the arena for 5 years before finally managing to escape to the Havish Empire. Mud found his way into the slums and got involved in the gangs that roamed there. He decided to change his name to Parod Bog to sound more serious for buisness related deals, although Mud remained a nick name. However after only a few months Mud became bored by the gangs as they were mainly peaceful with the only action being loan enforcement and occasional territory disagreements. So Mud decided to join the army in hopes of gaining money and fame to form a mercenary band and who knows maybe his own tribe some day.

Relationships: N/A

Other: Mud quite enjoys cooking and listening to music
