[Love Me Dead]

Welcome to Dreamy Pines your home for the next three or more years of your life. Home for the abandoned, more or less. The last rotation of kids went well and all but one of them ended up leaving. Miss Rellzia is the overseer of everything that goes on in the house and is the strict enforcer of the curfew rule, 9:00 pm in your rooms. There are many rules put in place for your own well being. Despite the rules there should be a fun atmosphere! Enjoy yourself while you're young and open up that shell, your family may have given up on you but Miss Rellzia has not!

Not all of the kids will show up at the same time and new additions will be put into the sleeping arrangements. I will decide the sleep arrangements myself which are two in a room. Please keep it to kissing if it goes that way with any characters and take the rest to PM. This is my first time creating a roleplay on here so try to keep it civil. Bullying is allowed in this roleplay. So um yeah I'm trying to be professional about this roleplay but I'm just not that great at it. FUN FACT - I like pineapples. Okay back to being professional.

Name- Thomas "Tom" Rook
Age- 16
Gender- Male
Sexuality- Straight
Appearance- Tom is fairly tall being just under 6ft in height. He has medium length hair that brushed to the side and is fairly skinny with a peachy skin tone. His pale green eyes and a triangular face tend to give off a non-threating vibe. He tends to wear brown trousers and blue checkered shirts but occasionaly hoodies and other types of clothing.

Personality- Tom is a quite person not to due to shyness but more of a desire to not bring upon unwanted attention. He is resevered at the best of times and will likly shut down if anyone asks about his past or family. He is however kind he just prefers to be so indirectly fixing things without being asked or noticed is a good example of that.

Backstory- Tom was until recently the only child of a middle class family. He actully quite enjoyed his
childhood but when he turned 10 things began to change. It started when they moved and he struggled to make friends at his new school. It didn't help that his parents had alot of expectations of Tom to due well and when he failed to live up to there expectations he went with out meals. Things only got worse after his dad lost his job and things became more and more heated between his parents. Tom was being bullied at home and at school and unlike most children his age did not own a single electronic device, He had no way of escape. Things only got worse as Tom was now worked two jobs while still trying to maintain good grades. He managed for awhile but then his father started beating him on a regularly and Tom's mind made it's own way out. Tom started to become detached from reality no longer registering the world around him. His grades dropped and he lost both his jobs. he took to sitting in tiny room corners escaping to his own worlds. he barely managed to force himself to go to school each day. It was shortly after he started this that his younger sister was born and not long after that his dad left leaving his mum on her own. Not being able to cope on her own Tom's mother decided it was best if she didn't look after him and he was sent to Dreamy Pines.

Interests- Books, Swimming, Carpentry
Dislikes- Cities, Spicy food
Fears- Thunder storms and violence
Issues- Tom will sometimes zones out or appears to be staring at something that nobody else can see. He doesn't talk about it but occasionally he'll be found crouched in a corner shaking and/or muttering to himself.

Name- Amber Right

Age- 15

Appearance-

Amber has soft brown eyes and thick, curly brown hair. She is 5'3" and weighs about 110 lbs. Her body is small and delicate, and so are her hands. Freckles dot her face and body, but many collect on her knuckles, elbows, and hairline. She has a feminine build and rope scars around her wrist from when she was first kidnapped.

Backstory- Amber grew up in a household that was constantly feuding. Her mother and father were always too busy fighting to actually pay her attention, and when they did notice their daughter, they would take their frustrations out on her. But then her saviors came. She loved them so much, they were everything to her. yet paradise only lasts so long. The police found her and her saviors. They tried to reunite her with her parents, but she screeched and cried for days, begging them to bring back her real mother. Instead of dumping her back with her abusive parents, they sent her to the group home, hoping she would recover from her Stockholm Syndrome.

Personality: Amber is quiet and kind. She isn't shy, but she is reserved and tends to keep her thoughts to herself. She is not very outspoken, but if you get her talking about her mother, or art, or the outdoors, she will softly ramble on for ages.

Interests- Painting, nature, gardening

Dislikes- Stormy days, boredom

Fears- Confined spaces, her parents, the police

Name- Nyteshaed (Actual name is Catherine Bloom, but she never tells anyone that)
Age- 16
Gender- Female ish. She doesn't really care.
Sexuality- About as gay as they come.
Appearance- She is a small, frail looking girl, and though she isn't very strong, she is agile. She's about 5'5" and isn't particularly curvy. She has softer rounded features that she tried to make appear more threatening with numerous piercings; her earlobes are stretched to a moderate size, her cartilage is pierced twice with rings and she has snakebites. Her hair is straight and black and goes just past her shoulder blades and has red tips. The only makeup she typically wears is heavy, winged eyeliner and black lipstick. She wears a lot of black and dark, muted colurs. Usually t-shirts with various bands on them, jeans, black leather jackets and heavy, military grade boots. She has a scar on her right bicep.
Personality- Brash, sarcastic and impersonal. She acts distant and aloof, but contrary to her assertions she doesn't "hate people", she just has a difficult time showing affection. She puts a lot of effort into maintaining an "emo" kind of persona, but is more just kind of an asshole. Despite being a self proclaimed "lone wolf" she often buts into other people's lives and generally stays with people.
Backstory- Her father was abusive and an alcoholic and her mother worked three jobs to keep the family afloat. After a particularly bad night with her father she was left with a broken wrist and severe bruising. After a hospital visit she was placed in protective custody with her senile great aunt who lived in the suburbs outside of Vegas. Waking up one day to find that her great aunt had died in her sleep, and having no other family she was sent to Dreamy Pines.
Interests- Music. Primarily punk, grunge and metal. She wants to learn to play guitar, but could never afford one. She likes physical activity, especially martial arts and gets antsy if she has to sit still for too long.
Dislikes- Faked happiness. Most folk and country music. Animatronic toys like Furbies. The suburbs. Shrinks.
Fears- Fog/mist. Anyone who has power over her.
Issues?- Has some serious trust issues. She won't form emotional bonds with anyone easily, and her trust in someone is easily broken. Often comes off really strong, being threatening or aggressively sexual in a subconscious attempt to assert dominance. Also smokes and drinks way more than is healthy for an adult, let alone a teenager. Almost never goes anywhere without her knife or some other weapon on her.

Personality-
Cassidy is a quiet girl, normally found wth a book on hand, she has a sharp tongue and uses sarcasm as a weapon. She might seem detached or cold but in truth she wants friends that understand and accept her. On good days Cass can be found outside either watching the sky or with headphones and fingers tapping out a rythrm on her thigh. On bad days -if she hasn't slept for a few days- she's found inside sitting still as a statue eyes glazed as if in a daze.

Backstory-
Cassidy was the only child of her parents, for good reason it seems, she was born from a mother who lived on drugs and a passive father that didn't seem to care for the family he made or the wife he married. Doctors could never determine if Cassidy woild be effected by the drugs her mother was using when she was conceived, though at the early an age they kmew that she wouldn't be an ordinary child. Having a stroke and surviving was just the tip of the iceberg, since then Cassidy as moments of numbness on the right side of her body, from her shoulder to her arm. Her mother refused to keep her, her father ignored her completely.

She was sent to live with her twin uncles, where she live until the day police busted down the dpot and arested everyone inside. Cassidy had been grounded for getting to school late and had been found in a back room with chains wrapped around her ankles and wests, arms bloody with cuts made by her dear uncles when they were too high to remember that she was family. She was sent to Dreamy Pines after being discharged from the hospital.

Appearance-

Esther is an extremely pretty but extremely skinny Mexican girl at the height of 5"7 but only weighing 105 pounds. Her hair is long and layered so the longer ends reach past her chest. She likes to put on a lot of make up and spends a lot of time on her eyebrows.

Personality- Esther is horribly insecure and hates herself but she hides that with her bitchiness. She brings other girls down because she can't respect herself. She is fake, shallow, and pretty much rotten to the core. She is quick to pick at other people's insecurities and enjoys manipulating other people to get what she wants. To those who are her "friends", she is just pretending to be nice because she realizes that it would be humiliating if she was alone. She'll act like she'll do anything for you... as long as she knows that you are willing to do the same.

Backstory- Esther's mother had signed Esther up in little beauty pageants for as long as Esther could remember. It was the thing that brought her close to her mom. She had dozens of ribbons and awards from countless of beauty pageants that she would hang up in her room with pride. Her mother would always compliment her about how beautiful she was; that was the high point in her life.

But then when she turned twelve, she started losing. Her mother was no longer as kind to her and began to say things like "You lost because you're so fat. You eat too much!" Her mother also set really insane "diets", made her exercise until she passed out, and even tried to raise enough money to afford plastic surgery. Anything that she could do to make Esther a "winner" again. Soon enough, Esther began to stop eating altogether. Not eating made her feel better about herself at least, until one trip to the emergency room that she can't even remember. She was labeled as extremely underweight and anorexic. Her mother tried to argue with the doctors which ultimately lead to her losing custody of Esther, much to Esther's horror.
Interests- Make up, fashion, dancing, singing
Dislikes- Most food, doctors, losing
Fears- Esther is afraid of being fat and ugly. She is also afraid of disappointing her mom again.
Issues?- Refuses to eat and has to be forced-fed. Even then she may sneak behind the doctor's back and vomit it back out. Overall just nasty, horrible personality issues. May even get violent.
