I like the idea of this RP and was wondering if you need a specific character spot filled up. If not I have an idea for a member of Lost I can RP.

Okidoki, wasn't sure where to put my C.S but this is what I've got so far. Happy to change anything, I do have a picture to go with but I'm having difficulty getting it to post up.

I love flawed characters and moral dilemmas so totally open to all plot ideas.

My Hider

Name/Alias: Dusk

Faction (if any): No allegiance to one particular faction although she has a few specific 'business' contacts within a few factions.

Appearance:
Height: Smaller than average, maybe just shy of 5'5".
Body shape: Clearly fit, hourglass figure with a little more proportion to her hips. Smaller chest.
Hair: Thick and black like oil, cut to a short textured bob. Always swept to one side or the other.
Clothing choices: Simple and functional- dark grey skinny jeans, usually her favourite red check long sleeve collared shirt and of course her cowboy boots.
Distinguishing features: Heterochromia- Right eye jade green, left eye bronzed hazel. Bronze freckles scattered all over her face. Right underside forearm has a black and grey wash tattoo of a intricate compass rose and her left forearm the Latin words in flowing script "Non Totus Quisnam flos es lost"

Nationality: American/English
Accent: soft Cajun accent

Attitude:
- Approachable but sassy.
- Come across her in the street you probably would walk right by but get to know her after a few drinks and she just might get you running contraband across the city for her.
- Dusk doesn't promise anything she cannot deliver on.
- She is honest but she might not give you the whole story.
- Loyalty is... Well great when it works
- Lovers come and go
- Sometimes violence IS the only option but the not preferred method.
- Everybody has a price...

Strengths:
Knowledgeable – Will rarely pass up a good opportunity to learn something new.
Quick Thinker – Has a tremendously flexible mind and is able to shift from idea to idea without effort.
Excellent Brainstormer – Loves to analyze problems from every angle to find the best solutions. Combining their knowledge and originality to splay out every aspect of the subject at hand, rejecting without remorse options that don't work and presenting ever more possibilities.
Charismatic - Has a way with words and wit that others find intriguing. She is confident and charming. Unhibited and Unashamedly a flirt, although not with everyone.

Weaknesses
Argumentative –If there's anything she enjoys, it's the mental exercise of debating an idea, and nothing is sacred. More consensus-oriented personality types rarely appreciate the enthusiasm with which she will tear down their beliefs and methods, leading to a great deal of tension.
Insensitive – Being so rational, ENTPs often misjudge others feelings and push their debates well past others' tolerance levels. People with this personality type don't really consider emotional points to be valid in such debates either.
Intolerant – Unless people are able to back up their ideas in a round of mental sparring, she is likely to dismiss not just the ideas but the people themselves. Either a suggestion can stand up to rational scrutiny or it's not worth bothering with.
Can Find It Difficult to Focus and F.O.M.O –Both Mental boredom and Fear Of Missing out comes too easily for Dusk.

Dusk is your friend in the Black Market.
She never deals in substandard goods because that wouldn't be good business and she relies on her reputation. She won't ask any questions either. But what's that item worth to you? That's right, she will hit you in the wallet with a sweet smile. In her defence it's the circumstances and the effort to get the items that makes the price so high. Her business is word of mouth, if you want to track her down you should know someone who knows a guy......

Equipment:
- Two retractable batons attached to her belt.
Vintage Ruger GP100 with 6" barrel (matt black finish) six- shot revolver (357. Magnum) and leather holster secured and worn right thigh. Likes to call it a 'Conversation Starter'. Yes it's a big revolver especially for someone her size but it is generally more for show/intimidation.
Small beige canvas back pack containing deck of cards, lighter, water bottle, pocket flask, book sized notebook and pen.

Skills:
- Slight of hand/pick pocket.
- Good standard of lock picking skills - getting better with safe cracking though
- Hard haggler/barter
- Distilling liquor
- Somewhat capable Aikido skills but no means black belt

Not so good skills:
- Strength: Sure she's fit and can lift her body up onto a ledge but there is no way she could go toe to toe with a 70+kg man if he got a hold of her.
- Leadership: Not a chance in hell should would step into a leadership role, quote "Let some other monkey run the circus"
- Patience: She has places to go people to see.
- Object repairs, she has people for these things.

Other:
What is his/her fears? -Being confined/restrained.
- Uneasiness when traveling underground or into underground room (eg. basements)
Greatest fear? Being alone
Dislikes: Leadership (being in charge) and incompetent leadership (someone else)

Idiosyncrasies:
- Always looks for the nearest exit or escape route whenever entering a building - stems from the building collapse she experienced earlier in her life.
- Will always offer the first round of drinks, alcohol will generally loosen inhibitions and tongues - makes for great barter or information gathering.
- Uncomfortable when having her back to a door/entrance

Backstory:
- Born into working class to a Cajun father and English backpacker mother
- Father worked as transporter, her mother picked up work doing odd domestic jobs
- Her mother left when she was around 8 years of age, never to be heard from again
- Spent most of her time with her father travelling around the city.This is where she learned to barter/broker and many other skills
Most of her academic tuition came from various people she met through life as she did not have any consistent schooling

Initially I was thinking of making a character who acts as a sort of an enforcer for "The Lost" faction. No one particularly special amongst enforcers, but is highly trusted. Anyone else would likely be for future plans in case a character dies or we really need a character for another faction.

Clothes: Anita's clothes vary depending on the situation, but for casual wear usually black cargo pants, dark red leather jacket, sunglasses, black T shirt and sneakers. When on a job or dealing with higher ups in 'The Lost' she tends to wear a suit to look more professional.

Nationality: Brazillian

Personality: Anita could possibly be one of the most friendly enforcers The Lost have at their disposal. She's very polite and capable of getting a long with many people. Even when killing another she takes little pleasure in murder, but instead gets more of a thrill out of the pursuit. However, for many it still calls into question why she is an enforcer for this particular group and not any other.

One of the most important aspects of her personality is her loyalty. For The Lost she is a very trustworthy member which is significant all on its own. They have little to hold over her which makes it even more surprising. Its the same for anyone. If she owes you a favor Anita will make sure to repay you in someway she sees fit.

Equipment: Anita receives a hefty sum for many of the jobs she's taken and has been able to build up a decent arsenal. Her contacts in the blackmarket helps greatly. She only takes two weapons at a time at best. The rest generally stays at home for use later.

Assault Rifle- This is one of Anita's most expensive weapons. Its military grade and only sees use when she expects a hard fight.


Pistol- One of her more commonly used weapons. Great for taking down the random thug if need be. This is close to a family heirloom. Her grandfather used to claim that his Granfather used to hunt demons with it. She felt it was a dumb little lie but didn't mind using the nice looking pistol.


Shotgun- She uses this when she cares about being loud and scaring her targets.

Skills:

Boxer/HTH Combat Training- Anita came from a family of fighters. Her mother was a boxer and her father enjoyed streetfighting. Eventually they both trained her very well when it came to self defense. They lived in poor and very violent areas which made her training often vital. As she grew up and got involved in more criminal activities Anita quite often got the chance to gain experience in fighting multiple armed enemies with just her fists.

Gunslinger- While not one of the best shooters Anita was called a gunslinger by many of her pears. She practiced with guns when young and was surprisingly proficient at the use of firearms. This combined with live fire experience grew her into a formidable foe with a gun. Anita personally gives her self little credit knowing there are many better than her in that area.

Free running- Her brothers were the very definition of delinquents, but one thing that made them good at stealing and painting property in hard to each areas were their free running skills they shared with their sister. Anita learned through a lot of failures but became rather decent at the skill. She's very fast and nimble which helps when chasing down her targets.

History: Anita grew up in one of the poorer and more dangerous districts. Her family was large and parents very strict, but they were never truly malicious no matter how bad she acted out. Her life in many ways wasn't abnormal in that part of the city. Witnessing the occasional robbery, carbomb, police brutality etc. was surprisingly normal. It was why the older members of her family pushed their children into school and hopefully out of the district. Anita didn't care about leaving because this normal was always exciting and never ended. It was also a place her family called home. She enjoyed it, but never revealed that to anyone.

In Highschool Anita continued to try and do well in school, while also getting involved with criminals. During this time terrorist attacks were getting far more frequent in their area of the district. One day at their highschool graduation the whole family was there to see her brothers graduate. A carbomb went off near the ceremony with enough explosives to kill nearly everyone there including most of Anita's family. At this point she was 15 with only her barely alive mother as her only family. The money she got from selling drugs and stealing for her friend in The Lost was the only revenue she could earn. This was how a hobby of hers became her profession. Everyday survival was necessary for her and her mother who was still in a coma.

Now over 10 years later Anita hasn't left her career in crime and doesn't plan on it.

Other: Anita's loyalty to The Lost is dependent on the man who brought her into the syndicate and gave her the most help. He calls himself Danny and simply thinks he found a girl with talent and cultivated it. No more no less.

Hey Vulkan, I know I hadn't even posted yet but I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop on you all. With participation in NaNoWriMo and a college essay on the horizon I would like to limit my current RP roster to one, so I'm sorry that this is the on that I've decided to drop.

I look forward to see where this idea goes though, and if ever in the future there's still room I might see about jumping back in. Good luck with this RP!

@Vocab Well...he's technically unconcious and to be transported to the nearest Detachment Centre, which happens to be the one that he used to work for, you can do a whole scene linking to mine and bringing him and his mystical armour to there if you want. ; D

@AtlasRedfox If you are able to work with the New-Order, unless Darinthius gets there first, there'll need to be an interrogator. Seeing as he's going to be staying there for a very long time and maybe even end up being forced to defect, a spokesperson/interrogator/watcher would be perfect.

Dusk is a good contact to have in the blackmarket right? Well Anita is a member of The Lost who doesn't mind dealing with blackmarket contacts in order to purchase weapons or find certain individuals. I'd probably just have her in the area the major raid on Nexus is going to happen. Not sure about any major plotlines for her yet.

@LetMeDoStuff Thanks for the idea but I don't think Dusk would fit into that type of role. Be keen to see how that plays out though :)

@AtlasRedfox It might make sense for Liv and Dusk to have met each other before, Liv might have done a few jobs for Dusk in exchange for weapons or something =)

Also, my character and @RangingWolf's character are partners since they both do similar sorts of things (we arranged over PM) =)
