The scale of the domed chamber and mighty pillars reminded him of his home, in the great cavernous cities his kind dwelt within. Still, he recognized that the chamber was the craft of wizardry, not the honest labor of chisel and hammer. Otherwise, it could not have existed within so small and crude a tower. The voice in the night sky above called all the adventurers' attention, and Athalzerus slowly frowned. It seemed that to whatever wizard had crafted this place, they were but a means of entertainment, a game of survival.
