Appearance: When you first approach Jesse, he can seem quite intimidating because of his resting bitch-face that's pretty permanent when he's not engaging in conversation. Equipped with a bitch-face is body posture that just screams troublemaker. Because of this, people tend to shy away from him and not give him the chance to warm up to people. Most of the time, he doesn't even realize he's making a face or aware of how his body language is perceived. It just became natural to him after awhile. If one were to stand directly in front of him, they could deduce that he is about 5'11 and approximately 150 pounds. Initially people would come to the conclusion that he is a Caucasian male because of his skin color, but in face he is full blood Mexican. It's just he's lighter than most Hispanics in which others from his ethnicity would tease him about, either calling him 'gringo' or saying he's privileged because he's white passing. Despite all the flaws Jesse believes he has, he's actually a very attractive young man. If he were to have a bare face without facial hair, people often say he has a baby face which is why he normally wears a bit of scruff. Speaking of hair, his natural hair color is brunette that he sometimes sports in a pompadour style, but will just blow dry it or wear it down if he's feeling lazy. Starting at his features, he has above average sized ears which most people will just say are big; not big like dumbo, but fairly large. He has a pair of green eyes that change to hazel depending on the season. These eyes can be pretty intense when paired with his resting bitch-face as mentioned before. His eyelashes are long and his brows are kept, signaling that he grooms himself fairly well. Moving down his face, you can see his nose is average for a male; not too big and definitely not small. The one thing that are most notable by others is that his lips are perfectly plump and pouty. One would assume that he's a fairly good kisser if given the chance to show off. His body type is fairly athletically built, but not like that of an Olympic athlete. His eating habits aren't that great, but he exercises a decent amount to keep up with his toned body.
Jesse's attire consists of things you would find at Forever 21, H&M, or Urban Outfitters. One thing you will notice is that he lacks a lot of color in his wardrobe. Most of his shirts are black, white, or grey in color with his skinny jeans being black most of the time. When in the Summer and Spring, Jesse tends to wear a lot of tank tops and t-shirts. In the Fall and Winter, he'll wear long sleeved shirts with the sleeves rolled up, a pull-over, and sometimes an occasional black hoodie or a scarf is he's feeling fancy. As far as his outfits go, he's a pretty simple person which contradicts the stereotypes of gay men. For jewelry, he'll wear one or two bracelets that are usually black and a few silver necklaces that consist of crosses, dog tags, and rings. As far as shoes, most if not all of them are black. He has two pairs of black boots, one with shoe laces and one without that he mostly wears when its cold out. His other shoes are just tennis, basketball, and converse shoes.

Jesse grew up in a standard Mexican American family home with traditional values. From a young age, he was taught he had to be super machismo just because he was male and defend his sister who was older than he was. From the time he could think for himself, he never agreed with what his parents taught him and always found a way to disobey what they told him. Jesse didn't agree with the whole 'men should act like men' and 'women should act like women' lecture that society engraved into people's minds. He also wasn't a fan of going to church as his family were devout Catholics. At around the time he entered junior high school, he started hanging around the wrong crowd and getting into loads of trouble. He would shop lift from stores, tag walls, and get into fights at school that would get him suspended for several days at a time. This carried on into high school as his behavior got progressively worse when he started to join his local Mexican gang. At this time is when he started experimenting with drugs and alcohol, often times coming home drunk and high. He was becoming too much of a hassle for his parents and his sister just pretended as if he didn't exist to her. It wasn't that she didn't love him. She was disappointed in him and didn't want to associate with that behavior as she was seen as the goody two-shoes straight A student in class.
Through the midst of his juvenile delinquent behavior, he started to realize he was different from his fellow peers. When he started to feel the effects of puberty, he noticed he could do things other kids or adults couldn't do. He discovered this when he was asleep in his bedroom after passing out from drinking. He was having a dream he was falling off a balcony and when he woke up, he was on the first floor of his house, directly underneath where his bedroom was. Of course he thought he was just too drunk to make it to his bedroom and dismissed it. After it started happening more frequently, he realized what he did wasn't normal and hid it from everyone despite this badass attitude he tried to portray. Like him and other kids his age, they just wanted to fit in and didn't want to do something that made them different in a bad way. At this time was also the time he came to terms with his sexuality. Of course he kept that a secret from the gang he was a part of as they were all homophobic and contributed to a number of gay bashings in the area. When he decided to come out to his parents, he was instantly rejected by his father who thought it was sissy behavior and went against god. Even though his mother and sister didn't care, he found himself kicked out of his house for something he couldn't control verses all the other delinquent things he's done. This was one of the many hypocritical things he hated about his family so he was glad to leave. After living at a homeless shelter for a few days, his mother found him and brought him home. Things were still tense but he was tolerated.
That is until he landed into major trouble. With his abilities, he found himself becoming an expert at stealing and breaking into places more often than usual. Jesse decided to be a little brave one night and attempt to break into bank and steal all the cash they had. He succeeded into phasing into the place without setting off any alarms but the surveillance camera still caught an image of his face which the police used to track him down where he lived at. He was arrested and booked for robbery. He could have escaped, but feared something would happen to him if they saw what he could do; which was technically too late. While in jail, NEST was contacted as he was witnessed using superhuman abilities. They gave him an ultimatum: go to a maximum security prison where he can't use his powers or enter the Academy Program and enroll in Camp ThinkerRock to whip him into shape. He chose the latter and this is where he's located today.

Power:Density Manipulation
Jesse's DNA grants him the ability to alter and manipulate the density of his molecular structure. By manipulating his molecular structure, he can defy the laws of physics and change his molecular density without harming himself. His genetically enhanced DNA also maintains a distinct corporeal memory which enables Jesse to revert back to his original molecular structure at will. His ability allows him to increase or decrese his molecular density, granting him two sub-abilities. When Jesse decreases his density, he is able to because intangible. He achieves this feat by lowering his density to the point his molecules are able to slip through the spaces of other molecules and temporarily merge without interacting, giving him the ability to pass through solid matter unharmed. Jesse refers to this as phasing. While in an intangible state, Jesse can phase through electronic devices and cause them to disrupt and malfunction. The same can be done to humans, but it only stuns them unless it is a vital organ he specifically touches. That can prove fatal to the other person if he isn't careful. When Jesse increasing his density, his body is able to become impenetrable. He achieves this feat by flexing, raising his density to the point his skin, muscles, and other tissues are rock hard enough to protect him from most physical harm. When super dense, he has an increased level of resistance and durability allowing him to resist extreme coercions such as car crashes, bullets, stabs, falling from high altitude, incredible g-force, pressure, and most type of pains. While also in this state, it grants him slight enhanced strength giving him the ability to throw a person across a room, bust down a door, or push a car a few feet. Also, he is immune to low level psionic powers like mind reading when in a super dense state. A side affect from his density manipulation is that he can expand his power to another person if he is touching them. He can cause someone or something to phase through a wall with him or become super dense if he is physically touching them.
Limits:One of his limitations is that there is a time limit that he can be in either state. Jesse has only 30 seconds before he can revert back to his original state or the effects of his powers will become permanent and kill him. Within those 30 seconds, Jesse must take a deep breath before reverting to either of his two states. His dense state requires flexing and a deep breath. Jesse must hold his breath when in either state and if he stops, he reverts to normal. As far as his intangibility, he is unable to phased through energy shields or pure electrical fields. There is really no explanation why he can't phase through those things, but he can't. However he can phase through other elements just fine. When it comes to his super dense sub-ability, he isn't as invulnerable as one might think. For one, he can't take a huge amount of bullet force. His body can only take a few bullets before his body reverts back to normal and he's vulnerable for significant damage. And even though he can't feel pain, his body will still take the momentum. For example, when he's hit by a car, it might not hurt him but he will fly back from the impact. It also depends on the size of the car or vehicle whether or not it will hurt him or not. Small compact cars will barely make a dent in him or cause him to move at all. But large trucks, SUVs, and 18 wheelers will cause him to fly back and possibly strain his body. Jesse is unable to fall from an entire skyscraper and live to tell about it. He can drop about 5 stories without hurting himself. Anything above that will result in death or broken bones. Most blades he is immune to as they will just brake upon impact with his skin in an impenetrable state. As far as his enhanced strength, he isn't even 1/100 of what Superman is. In this state, he's stronger than the average human but he isn't unstoppable especially against someone who actually has super-strength. When Jesse is using his power to extend it to others, he can only affect two people at a time without strain. Phasing a group of people requires major energy and can cause him to pass out or die from over-exhaustion.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:Jesse has to consciously activate his power to work. \He is highly vulnerable to weapons or powers that directly affect his nervous system or powers that don't require you to physically hurt him like high powered psionic abilities. In either state, he is weakened by energy based abilities as they are enough to disrupt his unstable molecular structure, even causing his abilities to go haywire. His power also doesn't grant him immunity from contaminants so he can get sick and die just like everyone else. Because of his ability, he has major claustrophobia and hates to be in tight spaces or places where he feels he can't get out. If it comes to the point where he's powerless and trapped, he will have as severe anxiety attack to the point he thinks he's having a heart attack. Basically he will go into pure freak-out mode.
