"That sounds like Dani doesn't it?" Alexis said to Cassandra, who was now sporting a Zaku themed hat as they headed over to where Dani's squee came from.

Didn't take her long to find Dani and Sakuya sitting on bench. "You guys are out of shape if walking around a fair takes it out of you, really oughta do some cardio." Alexis said jokingly as she walked up. "So, whats the plan? Do the tourist thing or do the 'celeb' thing?" she asked, as Cassandra was distracted by a butterfly looking insect.

Dani happily stood up. "Well, tourist till we get swamped." the girl explained and offered funnelcake to Alexis. "Look! Nils Sensei got a stand here!" she said excitedly and was already contemplating getting a second one. "I had to fight him to get a stand. I only lasted three minutes against Nils-Sensei." said Dani, looking around.

"Ah sounds like a plan than" Sakuya said as she smiled at her friends and friend's daughter. Deciding that perhaps it was time to do something rather different she took off her hand and blinked a few times to get used to the new influx of light. "Well than shall we go tour the stands more or is there one you like to hit up in particular?" Sakuya asked as she looked around the variety of stands some for games and food but others had a different purpose. Like one was showcasing the many fights of the Meijin and Lady Kawaguchi to quite a few of them selling gunpla for a discounted price.

"I got nothing particular planned apart from just poking around and looking at stuff." Alexis said, adjusting Cassandra's hat a bit. "So we can go drop in on Nils then look around if you want." She added. Truthfully Alexis didn't care to much what they did, she was just a long for the ride to be with her friends more then anything else. Though she had to refuse the offer of funnel cake that was amusingly shaped like a Fin Funnel, on the grounds she was still trying to get rid of some of the left over 'baby weight'.

"I'm good, i know most of what's going on and who's doing what here, but want you guys to enjoy exploring." she Said, continuing to nibble on her funnel cake excitedly. The female didn't stand still, she always seemed to be moving, most likely as she wanted to feel the legs moving now.

Letting out a small sigh Sakuya stood up placing her hat once more on her head. "Since we have no set destination in mind shall we go whever the winds take us?" She asked in a inquisitive tone they had no true destination in mind after all so it would probably be best just to travel from stall to stall seeing what each was holding after all right? With that said she started walking going in whatever direction caught her fancy though she as she was walking she did stop by a stall selling gunpla and picked up a few kits using her "world tournament participant" discount. with a small smile at her purchases she noticed a small poster on the side of the wall. Getting a closer look she read aloud "STRAIGHT BUILD GUNPLA tournament. All people welcome kits provided prize is a year supply of gunpla from MP lines ranging from Zaku to the recent Graze." Letting out a small smirk Sakuya spoke up "So you guys feeling lucky to test your luck with this?" She asked it was set for the next day which was good since there was no actual tournament planned as rather they needed to transport a special "stage".

Alexis listened and thought about it a bit. "Hmm ... could, no idea what I'd wanna use though, all I've got with me is Starlight Exia and Viper" she said after a few moments of pondering. "No real need for the prize ether, but still could be fun, so sure, why not, lets do this thing." Alexis said, give a quick look around to see if they where near a stand with Gunpla.

"sure, that sounds like fun." Dani said, having gotten a second cake somewhere in the time of their discussions. "I know of the actual Bandai stand." she said, gesturing for the other two to follow her. It was one of the larger tents in the area and actually just looked like a store, decked out to the brim with product. "Choose what you will, they've got some competition grade tool benches as well." she said, spinning around. The girl then went off dancing around lightfootedly and greeting people, shaking hands and generally just being in a good mood.

Sakuya smirked as she right away went to looking at the IBO suits they had stocked. Sure it was a new series and as a whole they lacked a lot of the gimmicks and beam weaponry the other gundams had. Still it was a unique line as far as the building process went with it being so far the only hg line to include a full inner frame for most suits. This granted them a better flexibility among other things but this of course mattered little when it came to actual gunpla battles. Looking she saw Dani going around flitting from one place like a butterfly or some other like comparison. Still turning back to the gunpla she picked and brought the model. "So you guys got a model picked out yet?" Sakuya asked as she showed the Kimaris Trooper.

"Nope" Alexis said as she cursed the isles. She really had no plan for what she wanted to run for this, but looked anyway cause it could be fun. She had thought about grabbing something from the IBO line like Sakuya did, but, now that she did, Alexis was less inclined to do so her self. She briefly considered grabbing an Exia, for old times sake, but she was running one of this in the main tourny.

Then she found her self in the section with the Universal Century kits. Alexis was never really a fan of the UC time line, to much of it felt the same, and the suit designs where pretty bland in most cases, but there where few she liked, almost all Zeon suits incidentally, and soon enough she came back to the others, box tucked under her arm. "Found one." she said with a grin, the splash art on the side of the box beling to that of the 'Queen Mansa', a criminally rare kit for some reason.

Dani came back to the group and saw the two standing around, she seemed all giddy and happy. "Same here." she said and was holding an MG virtue. She had apparently, been harkening back to her days at the lab and her love for gimmick suits. "so, we build them today and fight tomorrow?" She asked, looking between the two of them.

"Sounds like a plan just have to register and show them our kits."Sakuya said as she looked at her friends two choices. Virtue was something she was familiar with considering her use of the seravee and other like suits before. Quin Mantha on the other hand was something that made things a bit more tricky considering the sheer variety of weapons and being often debated on being classified as a mobile armor. "So going with a gimmick suit still Dani? Sakuya asked a teasing tone in her voice not that she really had room to talk the trooper form was also a gimmick. "Still though a virtue that brings me back to when I used a Seravee a lot." She continued as she looked at the virtue in dani's hands oh well. "Shall we go than and register now? or do you want to look a bit more?"

"Register, then see about a bit more wandering." Alexis said, mostly cause she wanted to get that out of the way before they did a bit more poking around, besides, if it was just a straight build competition it wouldn't take her long to get her kit ready to roll.

She also took a moment to have a look at what her friends where bringing to the 'party'. Dani had a Virtue, lots of fire power, tanky as hell, and can shed its armor for a faster, but far less armored form.

Sakuya still had an IBO kit, the Kimaris Trooper, fast, decent armor, good anti-armor melee weapon but no real range to speak of, so Alexis was wondering what Sakuya had in mind strategy wise to deal with Dani's Virtue, and Her Queen Mansa.

Dani set the kit down for her to build, however, she ducked into an aisle and grabbed a new kit, placing it atop the virtue. "Better." she said, God Gundam Atop the virtue as she smiled and nodded. "We need to register before building?" she asked the group, placing a hand on the boxes.

Sakuya sighed as she stood in front of the tent for the tournament. After registering last night and exploring a bit night plus a late night in building the kit till here she was. Her eyes gazed around flicking back and forth between contestants and sure enough she found that most people tended to favor old suits rather than ones from the IBO line. She saw a few people taking advantage of how open it was for rules and using mobile armors to their advantage. One thing she had to laugh at one one person using a Big Zam and couldn't but wonder why no matter happens that suit always seemed to be thought of when thinking of gundam. Smirking she saw people pointing and laughing at her choice of mobile suit let them laugh she practiced long and hard using suits that had literally nothing and got pretty good with using the given weapons in odd ways. Her ears perked up as she heard they were starting off was a chosen lottery and they fought the person with the same number. She looked and saw her number as 18 so she was going to be near the end since there was up to 20 battles before they move on.

"I still think you, with Funnels and a bunch of Beam Cannons is a bad idea, I've seen how mean you get with that combination." A man, holding Cassandra said as they came into ear shot of Sakuya. "It's hardly the unfair advantage your thinking." Alexis said. "Yeah, if your fighting some one at your level, chances are, the only real competition your gonna see is from your friends." he replied as Alexis set her Queen Mansa next to Sakuya's Kimaris.

"Hey Sakuya. Damian, Sakuya, Sakuya, my brother Damian." Alexis said, introducing the two, "Hi"

Dani walked up to the group, smiling happily. "Allo friends!" she said, happily marching into place next to them, the God Gundam in a blacked out tube, not visible from the outside as she was clearly holding it for the tournament. "Who's feeling lucky?" she asked, looking about.

"Ah its a pleasure to meet you" Sakuya said her voice almost monotone as she nodded her head in his general direction. "Ah hello Dani I believe that my skills will be able to get me through most of these people." She said as she acknowledged the comment. "So I am assuming thats the kit your going to be using?" She motioned to the blackened tube she was carrying all she really did was carry her gunpla in hardened case that she used to use for her Seravee that she retired.

"Not me, my luck is terrible." Alexis snarked, before saying she'd be right back to go getta number so they could get the party started. She just hoped she got some one decent enough for the first match, as she never enjoyed battling some one so far beneath her in terms of skill that it instantly turned into a slaughter. She pulled a 20 though so looked like she was going last anyway.

"Yup. Put some good time into it." she said, smiling happily. "Anyways, yeah, i'm going to be using my god gundam." Dani explained. She walked over and got a number. "Huh, 13. Lucky number." she said and came back now. "Whelp, i'm somewhere in the middle."
