''Believe me, if she would send you back... I will go with you'' Jason said and smiled. He then heard a door open and saw his 'girlfriend' walk in with her usual group of copy cats and sighed. ''Let's go Winter'' he whispered and slowly placed her next to him.

''Where are you going? I just wanted to bring you lunch'' Daisy said very sweetly. ''Yeah, I don't need that.. I am taking Winter out for lunch'' Jason said and jumped of the stage. He turned to Winter and without even asking he laid his hands on her waist and picked her up from the stage. ''Winter.. You could be a cheerleader so light as you are... They would all be jealous on you'' he said and winked at her. ''Yeah.. Light as a elephant'' Daisy said. ''Back off Dais... Really, I am done with you treating other like some kind of dolls without feelings.. Do that to your friends but not to mine'' Jason said. ''Since when is she your friend?'' Daisy asked. ''Well, since now.. And she has proven worth of my time already a million times more than you ever did'' Jason said. He took Winter's hand and walked with her out of the theater.

Winter nods and she saw daisy come in. She slowly got up and held onto Jason as he help her off the stage. She felt tears fall down hearing daisy she Blush at Jason words. She held his hand as they walk out and she held her ribs. "Um so are you two dating?"

She never knew she heard they were then they broke up and she is confused. She walk with him and froze seeing her foster parents walking toward them with the principle.
"Winter we need you to come with us" her foster parents said
Winter held onto Jason arm scared. "W why?"
"Because we are going to lunch" they stated smile lying
Winter look at jason "I have to go. Please call your aunt" she whisper and they grab her arm start walking off taking her home they were upset she didn't finish her chores this morning. But they told the principle they are taking her to lunch.
"That is nice family lunch" the principle said to Jason didn't know they beat winter
At winter home they tied her to the bed and broke her leg and bust her lip and bruised her eye. She whimper laying there tears fell down thinking she will die here hoping Jason get help.

''I seriously don't know anymore'' Jason said with a grin as Winter asked him if he and Daisy were dating. They walked trough the halls as he suddenly saw Winters parents. He felt how she got taken from him and he frowned. ''I had...'' he started but had no time to say anything.

''I'll Winter, no worries.. Stay strong'' Jason said and when they walked away he called his Aunt. ''Auntie.. I need your help.. I know of a girl being abused by her foster parents.. She told me herself..'' he said as he walked towards his car. ''Where she lives? I'll know in 5 minutes'' he said. He followed Winters parents from a distance and when driving into the street he told his aunt the street. ''Third house on the left... The one with the trashy garden...'' he said. ''Yes yes... I'll not do anything... But please, sent a police officer over.. She must be placed away from there'' he said and then drove away. There was no way her parents would have seen him.

- An hour later -

A police car, together with the car of Jason's aunt stopped in front of the house and the police knocked on the door. When the door got opened, Jason his aunt stepped forward. ''I have gotten a alarm call about abuse in this house, I would like to speak with your daughter Winter'' she said. ''We don't have a daughter'' the man said. ''Don't lie!'' Jason said who got out of the car. ''You have picked her up from school today for a so called lunch'' he said. ''Maybe you should care for yourself boy'' the man said. ''Don't talk like that to my nephew, I am asking this one more time.. I wanna see your daughter Winter.. We do have a search warrant so I don't have to be so nice'' his aunt said.

Winter was in and out of unconcious. She then heard Jason and his aunt and she whimper struggling being tied. "Jason! Jason!" She sobs hoping he hear her. She sobs in pain and scared.
Her parents growled hearing winter and yelled "shut up girl!" The police grab them restrain them.

"Go to her" the police told Jason and his aunt. They took her parents to the car put her inside.

Winter saw Jason sobs "Jason" she whimper struggle against the ties. Once he release her she put her arms around him sobbing on his neck. "Don't leave me please" she beg him her whole body is sore and her leg ribs and eye and lip hurt a lot.

Jason ran upstairs hearing Winter's soft but hearable cry. He opened the room and directly untied her, once done so he slowly picked her up from the bed and held her close. "Never ever that I will leave you" he whispered to her and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead.

He walked down stairs with her and looked at her so called parents. "Aunt, her leg is broken and she is beaten up more than this afternoon at school" he said. "I know that I am underage but I will find a way to press charges against you two" he said and then walked out of the house with Winter in his arms. A police officer opened the door of his car. "We are going to the hospital right away" he said and Jason placed Winter on the backseat, then walked around the car and took the seat next to her.

Winter whimper clung to him. She held onto him look at him tears fell down. "I'm so sorry" she whisper and whimper as he sat her in back seat of a car and her parents yelled awful things at her.

She clung to him when he got in and she bury her face in his chest. "They wouldn't stop it hurts" she sobs couldn't breathe and her leg and lip hurt a lot. She felt like she would die.

A few hours later Jason drove Winter in a wheelchair towards the house of his aunt. His aunt did so now and then, take care of kids that where taken away from the foster family by night and even when they weren't able to walk so her house was totally adjusted to it.

"We are back!" Jason called and then they could hear a girl count the steps she took. "9.. 10.. 11.. 12.." She said and then turned towards Winter and Jason. "Welcome home! Auntie had to drive to the office for something really important so the neighbour watched over me" she said. "Good.. Nat, this is Winter" Jason said. "Your girlfriend?" Natalia asked. "No.. My classmate.. she is in a wheel chair for now but she was walk with some help" Jason said. "Brother.. You never go along with Auntie for a pick up in the evening.. I believe that she means more to you than just a classmate" Natalie said. "Brat, go to bed" Jason said. "No, I am allowed to stay up till auntie is back" the girl said and then walked towards them, counting the steps. "Two more, or you hit her" Jason said. Natalie smiled and then reached out. She softly touched Winter's face. "Such a soft face.. Nice to meet you, I am Natalia.. Jason's sister" She said and then let her hand slide over Winter's arm to take a hold of her hand. "You are safe now.. But I must ask you to not talk to me when I am counting.. I am blind for 85% and need that to not bump into anything" she said with a soft smile. She was only 9 years old but Winter could see that the girl was very smart and way more grown up than other kids her age

Winter was exhausted when they got to the house. Her arm and leg in a cast her ribs wrapped and she is on medicine for pain and is a bit out of it. She look to Natalia when she saw her with her eyes one bruised and smile softy squeeze her hand gently. "Hi. I promise I won't distract you. I don't want to be a bother" she whisper felt like she is plus her parents told her she is all the time so she believe them. They did a lot of horrible things and put her down emotionally and mentally. She also believe she is stupid. She look at Jason. "She is smart unlike me I'm not" she whisper tiredly and the medicine made her loopy

"You are not a bother" Jason said as Natalia was back in de livings oom again. "I'm gonna show you your room and then you can choose if you want to sleep or watch some TV" he said and grabbed the bag some police officers had brought to the house with things from Winter.

He drove her to the guests room and opened the door for her. "Well, it's not much but it's save" he said and drove her into the room and turned her around slowly. "I will put your things here next to the bed.. I could help you unpack but I know for sure that there is underwear inside that bag and I bet you don't want me to see that so I'll give that task to my aunt" he said and the sat in front of her on his knees. "Winter, you're the brightest and smartest girl I know... And next to that your also are very very beautiful.. Why else would Daisy pick on you?? You got the beauty and the brains" he said and laid his hand on hers. "Don't doubt yourself, you are perfect the way you are" he said and then took a sharpie from his pocket. He started to write down on her leg cast: Most Beautiful Girl In The World! and it wasn't small, it almost filled her whole cast

Winter nods and she look at him held his hands blushing. She watch him write the most beautiful girl in the world on her cast and she giggle. "Thank you Jason. The room is perfect it better than what I had which was a smaller room with a mattress the room you found me in was the spare" she said sadly. She look at him didn't let go of his hands. "Jason I'm tired I don't want to be alone. Will you hold me please" she whisper terrified to go to sleep alone

- 7 weeks later -

Jason arrived home from his schoolday and rushed into house, dropping his back next to the couch and then walked into the kitchen where Natalia and Winter where doing their homework. "You're out of the cast already " he said and smiled. He hugged her and gave her a kiss on her cheek.

The paSt few weeks had helped their bonth to grow into a very tight friendship and they even had been on a few dates once Winter could walk with crutches. He looked at her homework and smiled. "Everyone hopes that you are back soon" he said and then sat down next to her at the big table. "How was your day?"

Winter was doing homework and is healed. She got the cast off and has been doing so much better. She smile at Jason when he came in and blush at the kiss on her cheek. She been falling for him everyday and love when they go on dates.

She hug him and held his arm when he sat next to her. "Really? Everyone misses me?" She was surprised she didn't know a lot of people and didn't think they cared. She smile "it was good but I missed you" she said softly look at him. "I can't wait to go back to school and be with you more and play the piano I miss it and singing" she said softly "I wrote a new song and have been dying to play it"

"Well, the girls that you always sat with in the lunch breaks and the people from the chess club do miss you a lot" Jason said and smiled. "Of course Daisy said something stupid when the teacher asked me about you but I told her to shut up and she didn't speak after that anymore" he said.

"How are you gonna tell Daisy that you're dating someone else?" Natalia asked. "I am not together with Daisy and she knows that" Jason said. "Are you sure? Daisy is the biggest air head I know" Natalia said. "Well, maybe if I kiss Winter in the middle of the school cafetaria she will understand" Jason said with a grin.

Winter giggle at what Natalia said. She smile at Jason that he will kiss her. "I don't mind doing that. Can we get someone to record daisy reaction?" She giggle smiling.

She held his hand lean against his shoulder. She smile look at him. "Your amazing you know that?" She whisper and play with his fingers she grab he letter that came for her from the college she apply to for when they graduate. "I haven't opened it in scared. And if I get in who knows if I can pay for it" she said softly look at him. "But it would be nice to know if I can get in and go" she whisper "can you open it?@ it was that time of year to apply for colleges. She also heard there is a court date for her parents and she will have to testify she is scared about that to.

''Don't you think it a bit too much for you?'' Jason asked with a slight grin. ''I remember you not liking to stand in the spot light'' he said and gave her a kiss on her cheek. ''Me? Amazing?'' Jason then asked and raised a brow. ''You have the wrong person in front of you honey'' he said and chuckled.

When she handed him the enveloppe, he looked at her and smiled. ''You open it, I'll hold you'' he said and pulled her on his lap and handed her the enveloppe back. ''You can do that'' he said. He himself had not thought about college yet, more because he didn't want to leave Natalia behind, he knew she would have a great life with their aunt and their dad could return any moment but he couldn't leave one of the most important girls in his life.

Winter giggle and smile. "I don't I have the right perfect person who is amazing with me and with nathalia" she said sofflg and kiss his cheek. "Oh I hate the spot light but I would love to see her reaction if you kiss me in front of everyone so just this once I'll be okay"

She say on his lap and held the envelope. She nods and sat there look at it nervous for ten min in silence taking her time. She breathe slowly and open it and she read it and sigh softly. "I didn't get in. It's okay there is one other one I applied for and I'm waiting for that one and that is the one I hoped to get in. Have you applied to any yet?" She ask softly

''I know for sure that you will get into the other one. Don't worry about it too much.. You got time enough and your grades are amazing'' Jason said. When she asked him if he already had applied for colleges he sighed and shook his head. ''I am a good jock, and I know I have a big change on a scholarship... But I can't leave Nathalia..'' he said. Nathalia looked at him, or at the direction his voice came of. ''I am in good hands Jas..'' his sister said.

''I know but I made you a promise, plus I am not good with school.. I only work hard so I can stay in the team and I don't want to stay a basketball player for the rest of my life'' Jason said. ''It's nice but I rather take over dad's business'' he said. ''Dad's business is dead Jas.. We all know he has a bad name, why do you wanna repair something he broke up so easily..'' Nathalia said. She was not angry at their father but she did blame him for the death of their mother and that she has no sight for 90%. ''Nathalia, don't speak about your father that way'' their aunt said while she walked in.

Winter look at him nods. "I support whatever you want to do. And I'm not sure I'm ready to go far for college if your not there" she said softly is nervous about it. She look at them confused about the business. "What business is it? What did he do?" She ask softly doesn't remmeber what business their father ran

"Why you not want to be a basketball player? They make good money" winter said softly rest her head on his shoulder cuddle close to him in his lap

''I believe in you Winter'' Jason whispered. Then the whole stuff started about their father and Jason sighed. Nathalia moved her chair backwards and got up. ''I don't want to talk about it'' she said and grabbed the white/red stick. She never used it inside the house unless she was angry.

Jason's aunt, Amy, shook her head and sat down on the chair that Nathalia just had gotten up from. ''Their father had a garage.. But when his marriage started to tremble and break down.. He grabbed towards the bottle and made a lot of stupid mistakes... The garage is still there and Jason does go by and works there on the weekends. That is why he is gone so early on saturday'' she said. Jason nodded. ''Yep.. I am working for my fathers depths, and I don't mind it.. But Nathalia really blames him for the death of our mother and for her not being able to see...'' Jason said.

''I don't think it is her eyes that she is bothered with Jason.. She is a girl.. Is right now 11 years old.. She will start to turn into a young lady soon... And she only has a overworked aunt to go to with questions.. She doesn't want to bother Winter with the questions, you know how she is'' she is. Jason nodded.
