|Personality|♦ Intelligent ♦ Awkward ♦ Funny ♦ Charming ♦
Charlie is basically just a lovable nerd. He's a bit socially awkward, although he's mostly gotten over that since high school began. He's very smart, and has always done extremely well in school. He's also rather charming. Apparently people find it adorable when you can't seem to string any words together and then start cursing. He's always been known amongst his friends as the funny one, a title he's happy to keep. His humor is rather dry and witty, and it's gotten him more than a few slaps in the face over the years.
Negatively though, Charlie has the tendency to get rude when he feels bothered, and if he gets in an argument with someone, he can get very mean. While he tries to keep it under control, he has a short temper, one that can be set off by just about any offense. He takes a lot of things personally, even though he tries hard not to.
|History|As long as Charlie can remember, it's just been him and his mom. He never met his dad, and his mom didn't talk about him much and so he rarely questioned anything. He and his mother were always close, and he attributes most of his skills today to her. She taught him how to read and what made a great book. His mother was a teacher in California, but when Charlie was eight, she decided it was time for a change of scenery. So Charlie and his mom moved up to Washington and to a town called Verona, where his mom became the English teacher at the high school. Charlie was angry about the move, and when he first got to Verona, he hated it.
However, once he began school, he made some quick friends, and his jokes quickly found him more. After this he found that Verona might not be so terrible. His life was pretty easy up until a few years ago. The night of his 14th birthday, he woke up to hear his mom yelling at someone. He snuck out to see who it was, and he saw that it was some man he didn't recognize. But when his mom kept shouting, he figured it out. It was his dad. He never spoke to the man, but two years after that incident, the guy moved to town. He's spoken with him once or twice, but Charlie has given no indication that he knows who he is, and he's not even sure he wants to.
|Family|Charlie and his mom live in a two story town house in the nicer part of Verona. Charlie can often be found up in his room, writing or in the kitchen making dinner.
Alice Collins: Alice is Charlie's mom and they are extremely close. They rarely fight, and when they do, it tends to be about which doctor on Grey's Anatomy is the best. He loves his mom and thinks the world of her. Alice has always been extremely supportive of her son, and has always tried to give him the best chance he could get. She's a teacher at Verona's high school, and as such, knows a lot about all of Charlie's friends.
Maxwell Flint: Maxwell is Charlie's dad, although neither of them have ever formally met. He moved to Verona two years ago, but Alice forbade him from ever speaking to Charlie. He understands why. He met Alice when they were young and wild, and Charlie was the result. Not ready for any sort of commitment like that, Maxwell ran. He never called or wrote, and so Alice was forced to raise the boy. As such, Maxwell has respected her wishes, although he still bumps into Charlie at the supermarket on occasion.
|Theme Song|Coming Down – Halsey”Now we're lost out her in outer space
In a hotel room where demons play
They run around beneath our feet
We roll around beneath these sheets”

|Drawbacks/Weaknesses|-After too much use, his brain goes haywire, and his power is useless.
-He can't lift anything heavier that 160 pounds without heavy concentration.
-Gives him a wicked headache if he over exerts himself
