Why hello! :)
Let's see, I have been looking for a good new roleplaying site FOREVER now (so I'm really super hopeful that this works out!). I used to be very active back when avidgamers was a big thing (I hope that doesn't date me too much). I fell out it for a while after that - let life get in the way and what not, but about a year ago I caught the bug again and have been looking for something to join. It has been really difficult finding something that wasn't already completely dead or overly complicated. I'm a simple girl - I like writing. I don't need stats, dice rolling, etc. Too much work for what I want to do.
I typically go for the fantasy worlds - vampires/demons/humans/angels - etc. I'm open to most things, but I do like playing adult characters so anything high school ish is out for me (I really didn't see anything like that here, but it used to be a big thing.)
I would definitely fall in to the more advanced category but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't rusty. I knew that I needed to get back into writing on a more regular basis when I realized that my vocabulary was going down the tubes.
My biggest downfall is that I am a bit technologically illiterate. I've been browsing around checking things out and it seems a lot of people have beautiful gifs and what not that decorate their posts - so long as nothing like that is required, I'm good as I really don't know how to do any of that stuff.
At any rate - I'm excited and hoping to get something going soon!
