Leo's eyes widened as Selena started to hyperventilate. He started to panic. "H-Hey, what's wrong?" He asked. It was obvious that he didn't know exactly what to do. He didn't even know the reason. Was it because he said something wrong? Well, he only said one thing. "It's alright if you don't tell me anything, I swear. So please calm down." He continued, figuring that it might be the reason. If not, oh well...

Selena slowly caught her breath, her heartbeat finally becoming steadier.
"I'm sorry. I just get nervous talking to people about it," She said.
She let out a small sigh.
"I can shapeshift into a wolf. Unfortunately it has some... side effects," She said eventually, chewing her lip a little.

William nodded hearing the housekeeper taking a big happy sigh that she knew better than to risk him being in the water. he took a few steps away from the pool to give good distance incase of splashes, and sat down, watching the others leaning on his knee some with his hand propping his head.

@Blizz "Really you would help me? THANK YOU!!!" I said really excitedly and gave him a quick hug. As maggie woke up slightly looking around and the reaching her tiny little arms out to Jack. "I think maggie wants you to hold her Jack."

@BookGirl1993jack jumped back as he hugged her, "heh, no problem pheo-" he was cut off as he slipped and fell into the pool. jack instantly went mad as he used the shadow he casted to throw a hooked chain out of the water and into the floor(not to deep) he then threw himself out of the water and onto the side, his hands were giving off shadowy smoke as he struggled to calm down, the chain he used started to flicker and dim as it eventually dissipated, jacks breathing was heavy and fast, he was trying to calm down while doubled over on the floor

"Oh no, it's fine. I just got used to the fact that everyone was so open with their powers, I'm sorry for not being sensitive." Leo said, bowing his head as a form of apology. "A split personality you mean?" He asked. Shapeshifting seemed cool but from the way she acted, the side effect isn't just being dizzy...

There was a splash and Leo's attention was split. He looked at how Jack got angry and then desperately left the pool. In that instant, Leo thought that this guy just might be a cat or something, to have that hate in going into the water.

"Are you going to do something about that Ms. Smith? He seems adamant on staying out of the water?" He asked as he gestured to Jack.

Selena stilled when he said that.
"How did you know?" She asked frantically, "Do the others know? What have you told them?"
And so it begins. Now one knows, the rest will follow. And what do you think will happen then? They'll band together and come after you. After all, everyones scared of the big bad wolf.

"Can't I call it a hunch?" Leo asked, wondering why she was so frantic and so secretive about this split personality. Besides, her nervousness just proved that he was right. Although he seemed to ease into the water and leaned on the wall of the pool that was nearby. "It can't be too hard to deduce something like that you know, especially if you're used to seeing people with powers. But I am curious to why you're so secretive about it. But you're free to not answer that question if you feel uncomfortable in doing so."

Selena shook her head quickly.
Go on. Tell him about me. Tell him about the voice in your head. Tell him how all the voice wants is for everyone to die. To be hunted down and slaughtered. Tell him everything about me. Tell him about...
"...Lena," She whispered, the voice letting out a howl at hearing her name.

"Is that her name?" Leo asked. He then reached for Selena's head and patted it. "Well, you really don't have to tell me." He said with a smile.

Selena nodded quietly, shaking just a little. On one hand, it was a relief to tell someone about her powers. On the other hand, she was worried about what would happen now.
"Please don't tell the others," she said nervously, "I don't want to think im a freak or something."
She did realise the irony of that statement considering where she was.

"Of course. Whenever you're ready." Leo said with a sincere smile. "Although, telling it to Ms. Smith, the orphanage caretaker, would probably be for the best considering that she is the head and all." He pointed out. He didn't want her feeling nervous or scared and especially not like this, insecure about her power. "You know what? I'll help you control your power... Lena, I mean."

"Jack calm down. Alittle water wont hurt you. Stay in the shallows if you want. It isn't any deeper than a bathtub." Ms. Smith stormed over to the two not in the pool yet. She didn't have all day.

Selena shook her head.
"She can't be controlled. She's always there. Waiting for an opportunity. Waiting for me to slip up," she said, terror in her voice.
You're right, for once. And you will slip up. And when you do, everything you know and love will fall apart.

I say picking up Maggie and grabbing a towel and walking over to Jack. "Here Jack so you can dry off." I said feeling sad that he nearly died one time and thats why he is afraid of water.
