Leo looked over to Eleanora and then tilted his head to the left. Why wasn't she joining in? In all the years he's been here, he never did get the chance to talk with her much. Mostly because she seems to avoid him for some odd reason or another. She's always near the fishes, talking to them, she would explain to him before running away before. But recently, he was able to hold a small conversation, which was good in his perspective. Standing up from his seat, he moved to the seat beside her. "Heya, had a good night's sleep?" He asked with a smile.

At the sound of another voice, Eleanora stiffened and turned red. She hardly spoke to anyone, and while she spoke to Leo, albeit hardly, she still felt extremely nervous, even if he was younger than her.
"Y-Y-Yes, I s-slept well.." She stuttered nervously,bringing the fishbowl closer to her. Putting the fishbowl to her ear, she listened to what the fish told her, though there was absolutely no sound to anyone else, Eleanora could understand perfectly."That was rude.." She whispered to the fish, frowning. Turning back to Leo, she was shaking, still scared of talking to anyone other than her fish."U-Um..Why did you sit next to me, Leo? You have friends here, why not sit with them?" She asked, cringing afterwards. The sentence had come out meaner than intended.

Leo smiled, "That's good." And he couldn't think of anything to continue it with. He watched as she put the fishbowl near her ear. Right, talking with fish. She had whispered something back at the fish while frowning but Leo couldn't quite catch what it was. Hopefully it wasn't something bad. Her question would somewhat hurt some people but Leo wasn't one of those people. Instead, he just continue smile and replied, "They're not really my... well, 'friends'. More like acquaintances? Haven't really interacted with them too much." It was true. While he does call them friends, they're not really in that level. Just like how Eleanora was to him. Just acquaintances.

"I guess I find it more comfortable sitting beside someone I've lived with for a while." He had a sheepish grin on his face, as if a little embarrassed to admit it. It was true anyway. He might be friendly but he's more comfortable with someone he's been with for a while than someone he just met. Which is a lot of the kids here.

"And who would that be? You've been here 7 years, and there are alot of kids still here, who are much more..social than I am..Why sit by me?" She asked him, not taking her eyes off of the fish in front of her. She twirled her finger around, the water following her movements, and coming out of the bowl and forming a perfect bubble of water in her hands, the fish still inside. She smiled softly at the fish, and the fact she was able to use her powers freely."..With both of us being here for a very long time, it's hard to believe you don't have friends." She told Leo, not taking her eyes off her bubble with her fish.

"You've been here for eight, nine years and you're in the same state aren't you?" Leo asked before leaning back on the chair, looking at the other kids who were gathered around the table, ready to eat. He had been here for seven years, and he as friendly with everyone but the only ones he does consider close friends are just very few. Thomas, for one, and he hadn't seen the guy for a while. Not making a comment about her using her powers, he replied, "I do have friends. But can you blame me for wanting to make more?" A miserable attempt of an excuse. Hopefully she accepts it as a legit reason. If not, oh well. He never did admit to anyone that he doesn't feel comfortable around other people. Given how friendly he was, it wasn't obvious.

"..I suppose I could see your point..And I do have friends. The fish are my friends."She said, holding her fish close to her. She didn't realize it, but this was the longest she had ever spoken to Leo. Most of the time, she'd run off or conceal herself in a giant bubble of ice, or simply ignore him. She liked Leo well enough, since he was so kind. But still never seemed to speak to him or anyone that much; hardly at all. So the fact she was keeping a conversation with him was a good sign that she was starting to feel more comfortable with him.

"I suppose they are." Leo said with a nod as he looked towards the fish inside the fishbowl. She was the only one that could understand them so he supposed that them being friends shouldn't be too surprising. If he could speak to his materialized objects, he bet they would be his friends as well in some way or another. "Hey, I always wonder where you go after activities. You always seem to disappear." He asked, just curious about where she goes. While he was aware that everyone had their own agendas, he would usually see the other kids around when he makes his rounds around the orphanage when he had nothing to do. "Um, of course, you don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable about it." He quickly said, realizing that him asking such a question might cause her to block him off again.

After a few moments of silence, she shrugged."I'm where ever the water is." She said simply, staring at her fish."I'd rather be with the water than with strangers." She explained, moving the water around her."Not to mention, the water sings a comforting song, so I prefer to be with it." She said, and afterwards, she sighed and covered her face."You must think I'm a weirdo now, don't you?" She asked, frowning.

Leo could understand how she felt. Her last statement made him lightly chuckle though. "Not at all. I spend a lot of time in the gym. Why? Because I feel comfortable there. Just like how you feel comfortable around water. If you look at it, it's practically the same." He told her. This was his honest feelings. Not like he had lied too much before, and even when he did lie, he was telling a half-truth. His eyes followed the movement of the water around her. "Besides, in this orphanage full of not normal kids... I think what you do is pretty normal." Many have isolated themselves when they were children. Their powers caused them to be anti-social. Leo was lucky, since his parents helped him take control of his own power. But a lot of kids were shunned for it. So it isn't too weird for someone to be alone and in their element. Especially in this orphanage.

"I suppose so, but people still think I'm weird for talking to fish." She said, smiling slightly. It was the first time she had smiled at him. She then put her ear to the fishbowl, her fish telling her something. At the suggestion it made, Eleanora's face went red.
"I can't ask him that! He wouldn't accept it anyways, he's just being nice!" She told the fish, listening to what else the fish was saying, and that made her frown."No need to be so rude, Mr.Bubbles." She pouted at the fish, who just swam around in circles.

"Well, I don't see a reason why you can't talk to them. It's part of your power, so it shouldn't be weird at all." Leo reasoned. Then again, not everyone looked at it the same way he did. Even kids in the same position as her would judge other people if it made them feel better. That's just how life works. He then raised an eyebrow as Eleanora began conversing with her fish. She had turned red, said something about him probably not accepting something, frowned and told her pet fish that he was rude. Okay, he has to admit. This will take a while to get used to. "What was that about? Something you want to ask? I don't mind."

She turned a bit more red, fiddling with her orange hair."He wanted me to ask you..I-If you wanted to hang out sometime? Y-You know..As..F-Friends.." She stuttered. She had never really had friends, so asking if he wanted to be such was nerve wracking for her. She then just buried her face in her hands, embarrassed beyond all belief. She really wanted a friend, having been lonely for so long.

Katherin tilted her head as she listened to the two talk. She was new to the orphanage. She didn't know how the of them could still feel out of place after being here for so long. It made her worry about ever belonging. "I don't think that talking tk fish is strange. When I lived on the streets that could talk to birds. I loved listening to the stpriest they would tell her. I suppose if you guys can't make friends or feel like you belong after all the years you've been here then there really isn't any hope for the rest of us."

William would turn towards their conversation and shook his head some "Rule number one Never give up hope" he suddenly would state towards them. "If you give up hope, then there is no point in anything" he would smile towards them. "If you have the courage to do something, then you will succeed" he states "Here at this orphanage I'm already starting to think... that all of us here.. we aren't friends.. but we're family" he says probably surprisingly.

A clutter of sapphire butterflies appears in the room and reform as Marisa. She wipes the sleep off her eyes before turning her attention to the other and asking,

''Has anyone seen a laptop around here, it has a Gemini symbol on it...and...who's the new kid?''

she added as she pointed to Elenora.

@BookGirl1993@KatherinWinter Jack took a seat at the table and waited patiently. He then saw a couple friends sitting nearby. Hey there you two, how's it going? Jack said to phoenix and Maggie. It had been a few days since they said a word to each other, odd how that was so when they lived with one another.

"Hey Jack me and maggie are doing fine, I am going to have to feed her right away before I eat. How have you been the last few days." Phoenix said.

Leo smiled as she asked to hang out with him. The smile turned into a grin as he replied, "Sure! Just tell me when and where." The offer did surprise him though. He never expected that Eleanora of all people would ask him that. Surprising, very surprising. He then turned to Katherin as she began speaking. "It's not that I feel out of place. Just that I haven't really made much bonds with the other kids." Especially knowing that soon, he'd have to leave the orphanage. Them too. There's a chance that they wouldn't see each other anymore. He then looked at William as he started so speak. He had no response for what the guy just said. Really, he couldn't think of anything. That was when another kid came into view.

"Er, no. Haven't seen a laptop. She's been in the orphanage for far longer than you Marisa. Longer than me even. She's Eleanora." He replied for her. He looked worriedly towards Eleanora. This is a lot of people talking. He was fully capable of taking with them but he was worried that she might block them off. One of the reasons why he decided to take on what they were saying. But if they decided to question her directly... hopefully she wouldn't shut then out

"If that is suppose to be reassuring it's not. If you haven't made bounds then it isn't likely that anyone will. I came here to make the kinds of bounds that I couldnt make on the streets. I thought this was my best bet. But now it seems like that might be the one thing that this place can't give me." Katherin shook her head. She turned to leave. She might be blind but she wouldnt let that stop her from leaving.

"Oh, really?" Marisa replied to Leo's answer. she then faced Elenora and held out her hand to shake.

"I dont know how long ive been cooped up in my room playing to notice ya, so im just gonna properly introduce myself, Hi! i'm Marisa!"

she greets with enthusiasm, unknowing that shes missing a butterfly and a huge chunk of her ear is missing & driping blood on her shirt.

At his reply, Eleanora smiled and sighed in relief. She finally had a friend! Or....As close to a friend as she'd get in this moment. As she was about to give him a suggestion on when and where to hang out, more and more people were approaching them, talking to them. And then one approached her directly, offering a hand to shake. She didn't want to seem rude and not shake the girl's hand, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. Everyone suddenly speaking to them was a very big leap from just speaking to Leo. She paled visibly, feeling a bit light headed. This was too much for her to handle.
