@KatherinWinter believe me I know lol in my original magic apprentices roleplay I sometimes accidently forgot one or two people. I did have a good few in there... especially one that was a trouble maker -_-
@KatherinWinter considering the one I had seemed to be trying to change the roleplay into some kind of apocalyptic stuff with Norse mythology which had nothing to do with what the roleplay was to be about, entire roleplay of Magic Apprentices is to see a group of apprentices as they progress from non-magic people go under the tutelage of a master and eventually become masters themselves.
@olcharlieboi LOL I had something like that happen to me twice. The first time it went from teens learning to transform into animals and training to be solider to a space adventure. I had to report them to the mods and move everyone else to PMs. It sucked. The second time the guy dropped out when everyone ignore his outlandish posts.
@KatherinWinter wow, I mean I sometimes like Sci-fi stuff but usually the roleplay starts out with sci-fi or it has background plans made ahead of time to turn into a Sci-Fi lol... dang it talking about sci-fi wants me try to make a starcraft roleplay again -_- lol.
@olcharlieboiI love scifi too but that wasn't the goal of that RP. Seriously they went from an underground facility to space in like 10 posts. I tried pulling them back in the OOC and PMs but they just kept getting weirder and weirder until I abandoned the RP.
@KatherinWinter Eh that is one of the times when you have to be strict state that they must get back to the real plot of the roleplay and etc... or less their banned and not allowed to post, and state if they try to continue as such you will inform a moderator to forcefully remove them. then state to the others to simply ignore those posts lol. I don't normally abandon a rp unless it's literally dead. as in no one is at all trying to post on it.
@olcharlieboi Trust me I tried that. But the others agreed it would be easier to move those how wanted to follow the original plot. I gave them the choice of PM or new thread. They wanted a new thread so the troublemakers couldn't cause more trouble. I reported them and started a PM with the others. It sucked.
@KatherinWinter Guess that's main annoyance with some people. (sigh) kind of makes me wish there was a 'Private Roleplay' section on this site. a section for where pre-decided people can make a roleplay. one that basically isn't open to just anyone to walk unless invited via PM.
@olcharlieboiYou can do that. But because I had already accepted them into the roleplay there wasn't a lot the mods could do. They weren't breaking site rules. Just being annoying.
@KatherinWinter If they was disobeying the GM then technically they was. at lest in the currently policies. so (shrugs), eventually the GM's will be able to do a lot so when that happens everything will end up running better.
@olcharlieboiThis was over 2 years ago before the big crash. The rules weren't the same then. The mods told me there wasn't a lot they could do but keep an eye on them.
@KatherinWinter ah.. that time. That entire crash was a bit crazy. I was on before the crash ever happened though I wasn't as active as I would of liked to be back then.
