Roxy raised her eyebrows. She was surprised that this girl had approached her. The girl was clearly a girly girl and she was not. Most found her unapproachable with her black leather vest over a black tshirt, skin tight black leather pants, and black biker boots. She needed a partner. If she was going to do this she supposed she had to participate at some point. She shrugged. "I can't cook worth shit. But if you want to pick a recipe to burn I'm game."

"You okay bud?" It seemed Charlie had spaced out, something Theo said must have made him realize something. Had he really not thought of skills? That would be the first thing Theo thought of if his power made real life like a game. He hoped they had some time outside or something soon, he could really go for a smoke. He might try to sneak one while they were inside but he wouldn't be so rude around the others. Plus smoking around food wasn't a very good idea.

Charlie looked at theo then forward "..skill window.." he says as a new menu appears before him with him being wide eyed he would look slightly annoyed and also surprised "..why in the heck did I never think of this..." he says he raises his hand and taps on one of the symbols he sees and looks at it's description and starts going through each of the five there. "..." he looks at Theo "I really can't believe this..." he says then turns to the stuff they have to cook with. "..no time to really check this stuff out... we need to get cooking" he says as he does a motion in the air with his hand to close the skill window.

"Bro...check what just breezed in here..." Lavi muttered coolly to Collin.

"What? Is it something coo- Oh." Collin's head turned to see a new girl enter the facility. She definitely had that bombshell look to her, and was quite the attractive girl. Right there he considered to try to strike up a conversation with her, but his conscious told him otherwise.

You're hitting things off with Evangeline, so let's see how that works out. After all, we could be Elsa's... Er... Wait... She doesn't have a love interest in that movie, does she?

"She's a head turner." Collin whispered to Lavi. "You gonna try and work some magic with her?"

Marinna snorted and grinned. "How about we make some empinadas?" It wasn't extremely hard and it wouldn't take too long to prepare. She sat herself beside Raven and flicked her hair over her shoulder. "I cook every now and again so we probably won't kill anyone. But don't quote me." Her life, despite school, had been average. She lived slightly above upper class and had three brothers. One older and two younger.

Roxy shrugged. "Sure. Whatever those are. I'm not picky." She had heard of empanadas. She might have even seen them but she wasn't sure that she had ever had one. She was willing to try anything. That's what this was all about. Trying things so she could make a life for herself. She needed to know how to survive now that she was going to be on her own. She was going to take control of her life once.

Uriel wandered alone at the bulding, still trying to figure out about his powers, so far he only noticed that when he tryied to use his powers his body feeled weird. Thinking that maybe his powers could be something to do with his blood but how to use it...was unknown. Sighing hard he walked toward some of the rooms when a smell of food catched him "What the..." he muttered curiously looking at the room, where all the people he was seen in hallway was there...cooking. Harshly he walked in "You're kidding me? Wasen't we come here to learn our powers? And what you're doing..cooking? Are you trying to be a new Masterchefs or what?" he yowled lightly disappointed.

"You are here to learn many things. While you were wondering around the building some of the others demonstrated their powers. I will start to build on what they already know once I have seen what everyone can do. But how to use your powers and fight isn't the only things I will teach you. Right now we are working on life skills. These skills will help you survive in the world." Gem explained.

Uriel looked at the old man, rolling his eyes "OOH! life skills huh? Aren't breathing, living, eating, sleeping, pooping enought? And why we could care about what others think?" he said harshly, little challenging way "And is this why we have powers for begin with? so we can save the world and Kick the bad guys in the backside, so that they run crying in their mom's arms" he continued making a smile.

"You can stay here as long as you like Uriel but the others might wish to move out and live their own lives whenever that is possible. I don't care what anyone thinks. I will give you the tools I think are necessary to survive in and out of battle. You can join a pair and learn to cook or you may go and find your own lunch. But I will not cater to you.Gem answered honest. He wanted to give them everything they could possibly need.

Uriel silent for a moment, then calmed down a little "I am not going to stay here...I am just interested to know what my powers are, nothing more...and I don't need you to cater for me, I can do it for myself...I am cooked before" he lied. He was cooked at his own, but it always ends in disaster. Sighing he looked at the kitchen, the tables and what the others was doing "so what I do then?" he asked.

"I don't care what you want to learn and what you don't want to learn. You will learn what I have to teach. I will not teach you your powers or how to use them if you do not take the other lessons. Whether you use them or not is up to you but you never know when you might need the skills I teach you. As for what you do now. You join a pair or you go elsewhere for food." Gem explained. He indicated to the pairs around the room.

Uriel sighed again, looking at the room, he really didn't want to be a pair with anyone, but if this make him closer to learn something about his powers. He really needs to swallow his loner pride and pair with someone "Pair huh? Dosen't they all have a pair already?" he muttered, his eyes running around the kitchen carefully 'those womans well be probably a pair..only left is that...red head..' he thought to himself.

Uriel scratched his long pink hair and followed the groups from a distance "So? I will choise? huh" he said thinking. He looked at the pairs, the blond male (Theo) looked like a male he could maybe get alone with but his pair Charlie already annoyed him, then there was Lavi and Collin they seemed to be so close that he could just be in a way, then was girls 'one guy with girls? pink haired guy? maybe not...' he thought feeling a little anxiety. He looked at the Gem again "so is there not anyone else there? Are they the only ones which have some powers?" he asked.

Lavi stared at the girl as she was now talking to Roxy. "I don't know man....I may just get to know her if she allows me to...nothing wrong with introducing ourselves now is it?.." he said.

Lavi was a little nervous about approaching the new girl but he went along with it since she's a potential comrade.

Walking over, he looked back at Collin and came up to the side of the girl, being a little hesitant. He looked on and gulp "H-Hi...I just saw you come in and wanted to introduce myself. I'm lavi..." he started out calmly

"Um, Mr. Gem, sir?" Theo raised his hand a bit to get his attention away from the guy who was acting a bit antagonistic. "Is there something specific we'll be making? A certain kind of meal like a dinner or something? Or should we just make whatever our group is capable of?" If they could do anything Theo would enjoy making his spinach artichoke dip.
