"First Team Rocket, twice than Team Flare, what could possibly be next?" Liam asked half sarcastically, half worried."

"Some research on the local legendary Pokémon may turn up some sort of clue," answered Shiranui.

"Well, that would be Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, the Latis, Deoxyes, Jirachi, and three of the Regis" Liam said.

[James Davy]

"The first two would be something an evil Team may be after," stated Shiranui, "They are known for changing the weather."

"Well, if there is a terrorist group in Hoenn, we'll kick them to the curb just like the others."

Lance had been traveling to Prof.Birch Laboratory, when he reaches the laboratory one of his assistants tells him that he was doing field work north of the town. "Aww man" Lance says, it was dangerous to go out there with no pokemon with him but he couldn't wait. He decides to go north, "I cant wait much longer" lance finds the professor with two other trainers but not just any trainers. It was Liam and Shiranui to young and very talented trainers. He couldn't believe it was them, he walks up to them, "Your Liam Coleman and Shiranui Tsukiko" Lance says with a big grin on his face.

"Indeed we are," answered Shiranui with a smile, "What's your mane?"

Lance couldn't believe he saw two famous trainers before him. "M-M-My name is Lance, Lance Carter" He said stuttering.

"Nice to meet you Lance." Liam said as he held out his hand for a handshake.

Lance stuck his hand out shook liam's hand. "Im guessing you guys are starting over again in this region?" Lance asked.

"Well, We usually hold onto one or two of our other pokémon just in case until we get a few from the region." Liam admitted. "So, I guess you saw some of our league battles?"

Shiranui knew their league battles were televised having seen Liam's Dragon Cup battles on TV.

"Yea I seen a couple you guys were amazing, my favorites were the silver conference and kalo league cup" Lance says. He was almost side tracked by what he came to do.

"We can talk more about our past battles after you get your starter," Shiranui reminded.

"That sounds like a good idea." Liam commented.

"oh yeah" Lance says scratching his head."Prof birch I am here for my first pokemon, I would like a treecko please" Lance asks. Prof birch smiles and hands Lance treecko inside of its pokeball, Lance takes the pokeball.

"Now let's go out and make some new friends," said Shiranui.

"sounds good to me" Lance says grinning
