Once Numeru was done hugging her trainer, Goodra handed her the egg back so he could hug Liam.

As Shiranui watched Numeru receive and then shower the egg with nuzzles and affection, he felt overjoyed at seeing the start of a family. "Your mother will be as overjoyed as we are when she sees our Goodra with egg," stated Shiranui.

"She will too," Shiranui agreed, remembering how passionate Blissey are about eggs.

"Well, should we go show it to them?" Liam inquired.

Goodra carefully took the egg. He than followed Liam to go show his mom and Florence. They were both overjoyed to hear the news.

Numeru showered Goodra with affection when Nurse Joy and Florence expressed their joy at the news.

During the remaining vacation, the egg eventually hatched. The Goomy took a liking to Liam's mother. Before long it was time to go to New Bark Town to catch the ferry to Pallet Town.

Joy told the duo good-bye Liam hugged her and Florence good-bye. After this, the heroes began the quick trek to New Bark Town and made it onto the boat, and set sail for Kanto
