In the next few moments after the winner was decided a dizzying amount of events happened. A mysterious man showed up letting out a burst of noise that sent Vuduin's head spinning along with just about everything else nearby and wiped out most of the nearby electronics, though Vuduin wasn't aware of that. More importantly he seemed to be trying to kidnap Alain. Pokemon came out of the woodworks to take him down, his own skill and Pokemon fending them off remarkably enough. However things quickly quickly got yet more confusing when the cloaked man asked him to help Alain. If he wanted to help Alain why had he attacked the medics? Still, getting a revive for Alain couldn't be wrong, regardless of the man's intentions. However Porygon-Z seemed to have a different idea in mind, coming between him and the medic tent, seemingly with the intent to block him. "Shade, mean look and hypnosis." Vuduin said quietly. Shade rose up in front of Vuduin and glared at the Porygon-Z with horrifying eyes that were impossible to look away from, followed by the odd sesenation that hypnosis caused flowing towards the Porygon-Z, though its effectivness against the Pokemon would be questionable at best. Vuduin meanwhile moved towards the tent with the startling quickness that was the trademark of quick attack, with the intent of grabbing the first revive he could find and getting it to Alain.

Porygon-Z's swirly eyes widened a little, frozen in fear by the menacing ghost. Then it began to ever-so-slowly hover lower to the ground while Shade's Hypnosis hit.

"Porygon-Z, snap out of it!" the clear voice of Justine rang out. The black-haired woman had moved a little closer to the main fight, but not close enough to risk being hit by a stray attack. "Hit it with Psybeam!"

The pink Pokemon swiveled its head around a couple times, presumably to shake itself back to fully awake. Then it fired a multicolored beam at Shade.

Emry continued to run and dodge until she dramatically slid to Kaze's side like a baseball player sliding to a plate, barely affected by the mayhem going on around her. Solomon arrived a couple seconds later, looking a little worse for wear after blocking some attacks for the suddenly confident girl. A few seconds of chanting, a glimmer of white light, and Emry knew her Wish should revive Kaze in a matter of seconds.

Right after Emry's move, a torrent of flame scorched her back. While the Avatar of Jirachi screamed in pain, Solomon snarled at the offending Pansear and hammered it with an Aura Sphere.

The cloaked man yelled as a Linoone slashed a large cut in his leg. He began to look a little worn down by the onslaught of alarmed volunteers' Pokemon, though he still fought fiercely. The Avatar stood up into a straight, dominant stance and pulled his hood partially off, revealing a commanding blue-eyed gaze. Some of the attacking Pokemon stopped in their tracks, seemingly baffled and unable to figure out what to do, even when their trainers shouted orders at them.

Some Pokemon, however, seemed unfazed, including the Greninja. The precise attacker flung more Water Shurikens at the cloaked man. Some were dodged, some were not. The water type laughed gleefully during the assault, but he suddenly stopped laughing when a blast of booming sound collided directly with him and threw him into the folding chairs of the former viewing area.

The cloaked man took one second to look grimly at Alain and then try to spot Vuduin. If there was any best time to swoop in and help, it was now.

Vuduin grabbed a revive and burst through the wall of the tent to see the situation had only escalated more. "Shade return." Vuduin shouted and let out a wave of drowsiness throughout the area. To most it would be a burst of fatigue and the feeling of wanting to close one's eyes. Departmental, but by no means enough to knock anyone out. Shade veered away from the psybeam with surprising speed to reunite with his master, melding in which his cloak, Porygon being freed from Shade's gaze as soon as he did so. Vuduin dashed towards the cloaked man, throwing out disables like confetti at a new year's party, preventing Pokemon from using their favored skills. Anything that got in his way he simply phased through until he arrived at Alain. Ignoring the cloaked man Vuduin shoved the revive into Alain's mouth, grabbed the boy, slung him over his shoulder, and attempted to continue running. He didn't know the cloaked man's intent, but he was taking Alain and leaving.

A mist seemed to have surrounded Kaze after Rebeca's attack had landed. His surroundings were unrecognizable, yet something seemed to form out of the fog: a Pokemon with the shape of an elk.

"Suicune? What's going on?" Kaze asked.

"You've taken quite the hit. Luckily, the pain was enough to cause unconsciousness. I am simply here to ensure you do not awake prematurely."

"So . . . I lost?"

"Unfortunately, yes, but you fought valiantly. As we speak, the battle has already been finished, yet something tells me the chaos is not yet over." As if to confirm Suicune's words, the sound of someone's booming voice penetrated into the recesses of Kaze's mind, yet their words were unclear in Kaze's current state. "Patience. It is not yet time for you to awake. Until you have recovered, you should remain here."

"But what about my friends? Are they in danger? What was it that voice said?"

"The voice was a warning to the Avatars, but you should not be concerned with protecting them. They are able to fend for themselves. Your concern must be your own safety. Ah, yet someone has arrived to help you. You are in good hands now, Kaze. I will continue to watch over you until you have found shelter."

As Suicune finished, the dream began to fade. When Kaze's eyes began to flicker open, he saw Emry beside him, the glow from her Wish beginning to fade. Then, before he had fully comprehended his surroundings, Emry gave a shriek as flames splashed off her back. "Emry!" Kaze shouted as he came to. He caught her as the weakness from her burn set in, and he became aware of Solomon--Emry's Lucario--fighting diligently to protect them. "Solomon!" he called to get the Lucario's attention. "I'm not sure what's going on exactly, but I need your help to get Emry out of here. Keep doing what you're doing and follow me!" Pulling the two Poke Balls from his hip, he tossed them into the air with the command, "Go, Jingle! Go, Clabber!"

The two Pokemon looked stunned at the chaos for a moment before Kaze instructed them further. "Jingle, I need you to use Confusion to lift Emry so we can escape this place. Clabber, help Solomon and me to fight off the bad guys."

Clabber chuckled at his command. "What fun . . . I get to knock some heads."

[Vulkan]

"It's dark It's dark It's dark It's dark It's dark It's dark It's dark..."

Alain's eyes flicked open the moment the revive touched his mouth. He tasted blood in his mouth, and his entire body ached like he had just been hit by a truck. Rebecca's punch had been one of the hardest he had ever taken. He had been lucky not to bite out his tongue.

Slowly, he lifted his head to look around, and realized that he was suspended in the air, with someone...holding him.
"Wha...where are you taking me?" He asked quietly, still not entirely sure where he was and what was going on. He wriggled slightly, and fell onto the floor.

He lifted his head, and saw the entire scene. The cloaked man and his Pokemon, the others fighting him, and the medic...no, his remains spread along the ground. This was like turning a switch in his head.

Alain got to his feet and began to walk towards him, not taking notice of the pokemon and walking as if it was nothing more than a leisurely stroll. His eyes began to become even more vivid in color than usual, signifying the trigger of his entropic field again. His wings began to unfurl, and shadows almost seemed to swirl in his hands. His face remained completely neutral until, finally, he spoke.

"Call your Pokemon back."

Then, the corners of his mouth twitched slightly. Blood began to drip from his damaged mouth as his eyes glowed brighter and his wings rose into the air.

"Or ill take you apart...Piece. By. Piece."

Vuduin paused as Alain began waking up, trying to think of a quick explanation, however Alain wriggeled out of his grasp and began walking towards the unknown man with seemingly murderous intent. Unsure of how to react Vuduin simply kept close behind him, ready to intervene if necessary, for either party.

Though the fire move hurt Emry's back and confidence quite a bit, the Avatar was a little tougher than she looked.

"I'm okay," she said while standing up, though her voice and legs were shaky. She looked around at the raging battlefield and the bleeding Avatars, and a look of fear settled in her eyes. "I-I don't know who's on what side. What... what are we supposed to do??"

Solomon paused his battling for just a second to glance at Emry, then at the cloaked man.

"I can't tell if this man is trustworthy," the Lucario replied. "But his idea seems wise, especially in our state. Your mission is more important than this battle. We must leave."

Emry, Kaze, and their Pokemon managed to escape from the main battle with little additional damage. It seemed the bulk of the assault was focused on the three men in the middle of the cracked stone arena. However, a few more Pokemon blocked each exit. Apparently, in the midst of this chaos, every Avatar had become suspect. Solomon fired a pulsing Aura Sphere at a Manectric. The electric type howled in pain and retaliated with a Thunder Fang to Solomon's leg. Then, Emry's Psychic ripped the canine Pokemon off her guardian and hurled it a couple yards away. The Manectric struggled back to its feet, but it was too hurt and confused to do much for a while. Emry checked on Solomon, who gave the girl a reassuring pat on the shoulder, though his face sported a grimace. Then the blonde looked toward Kaze and his Pokemon to see how they fared.

Even this close, most of the cloaked man's face was hidden beneath a gray hood and bandana. However, judging by his bold olive green eyes, he seemed surprised but not afraid of Alain's sudden hostility and vigor. He took a couple steps closer to Alain, brushing past a Linoone who still looked up at him in what seemed like a stupor.

"And then what?" he asked, his voice the volume of a normal human's but still deep and rich. "Fall back into the hands of those who tried to kill you? I just saved your life while you were out- we did," he added, giving Vuduin a brief nod. "I'll explain somewhere safer. Now that you're awake, I'd really appreciate some help getting out of here."

The next second, a Water Shuriken glanced off the cloaked man's arm, revealing more dark skin and a line of seeping blood. Another shuriken zoomed toward Alain, and a third struck the cloaked man's Charmeleon. She collapsed to the ground and her trainer hastily returned her to her pokeball. Greninja's chuckle could barely be heard as it sped all around the carnage, sounding like a gleeful poltergeist.

"Porygon-Z, use Signal Beam!" shouted the voice of Justine.

The pink Pokemon locked onto Alain and fired up its green laser. But before it could strike, the cloaked man reached it in a breakneck blur of movement and knocked it away. The green beam fired in the midst of the Pokemon's uncontrolled fall. It streamed through the crowd, fortunately hitting none of the humans or Pokemon, and quite unfortunately hitting the already heavily damaged wall that Rebeca was straining to hold up. Chunks of stone began to tumble down, and the Avatar of Groudon knew she was now fighting a losing battle.

"EVERYONE GET OUT!" Rebeca roared, though she wasn't sure whether any of these lunatics could hear her. "IF YOU KEEP TRYING TO KILL EACH OTHER, YOU'LL ALL DIE!"

Most of the spectators had already taken the warning a long time ago. The mayor's wife slipped out among the panicked crowd, while the Mayor Mayer fearfully but dutifully remained behind to help stragglers. Even some of the battling guards and volunteers called back their Pokemon to escape, relieving some pressure off the fighting Avatars and creating a clearer path to the exits.

Claudia parked her bike somewhere over where she assumed the tournament basement was and within a couple of seconds had opened a rather large glowing pink portal, looking down it you would see that it opens in the ceiling of the arena, she and her Darling Milotic peer over the edge at the chaos below. Then she started to use her power to distort the space between the portal opening and the ground, to the external observer the ceiling portion with the portal opening bulged impossibly, stretched slowly down to the floor, slowly turning the fatal drop into a much more manageable one. what was actually happening was that the space between the ceiling and floor in that region was being compressed, the distance between the two points of the distortion shrinking as Claudia focused. At the same time she took out her phone and tried to ring Drystan, distorting the space like this took a while to do right.

Ring...

“Any idea what is going on down there?” She asked, distracted by the phone and spacial manipulation

Ring...

“looks like the whole thing is quite a mess, I assume the colorfully dressed ones are the avatars and some are being accosted by Pokemon, those two look like they are trying to get out“ She pointed her tail at the group containing Emry, Kaze, and their Pokemon

Ring...

“And there is the one who thinks to command us” Palkia could not point but the cloaked man was easy to spot, the object of attention for all those who was not currently running for their lives and currently swarmed by hostiles.

Ring….

“also the place doesn't look the most stable, probably don't want to stay down there too long, that woman looks like she is doing her best to keep it up“ she pointed to Rebeca.

“I’m sorry your call cannot be/” she cut off the default answering machine message and put her phone away.

“well he’s not answering, guess we deal with what is in front of us for now.”

With the ongoing chaos the distortion would probably not be noticed by anyone who did not look up, until the bulge arrived at eye level, at which point a stepladder descended the last way of the drop. This anomaly existed roughly equally distant between the group containing the cloaked man, Vuduin and Alain and the group containing Emry, Kaze, forming a triangle between the two groups and the new exit. Claudia stepped down into the carnage with as much grace as she could muster while avoiding the odd stray shot after which Milotic drifted down after her, her scales reflecting the pink light of the portal’s edges in a dazzling display of color radiated from the beautiful rainbow scaled Pokemon as she curled protectively around Claudia. Then in a loud commanding voice Claudia demanded

“YOU WILL CEASE YOUR FIGHTING AND EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING ON HERE”

She hoped the warped space, shining scales of her Darling* and her stern voice would get their attention and keep it long enough for the situation to clarify itself. She was know as a loving and kind individual, an attempt at finding a peaceful resolution would be good for that image and such a tactic had worked before, though she had never had to work on pacifying such powerful beings as avatars or someone capable of holding of so many Pokemon on his own.

Vuduin frowned, this situation was getting no where but worse, as Rebeca's shouting clearly indicated. To make matters worse another avatar showed up, shining rainbow light everywhere and demanding to know what was going on. Vuduin promptly shouted, "Place collapsing, grab anyone and escape!" Having said that he proceeded to start doing just that, running towards the Mayor and Justine, practically a blur as he phased through anything in his way: intent on taking them both out of here, forcibly if necessary. There were the first people he could think of that were important and couldn't help themselves like most of the legends could.

In the corner of seeming solitude that Kaze and Emry's party had reached, Kaze, with the help of Clabber, managed to fend off a stray and violent Lampent. Then, as a chunk of falling debris descended toward Emry, Kaze and Clabber used a "Double Bubble Beam" to shatter it to dust. When soon afterward a Milotic and its trainer, who would definitely appear to be an Avatar, entered the room through a shining portal, it was hard to miss.

The Avatar's entrance seemed to entrance nearly everyone as Rebeca shouted for everyone to evacuate. Then, that seemed to have become the combined goal of everyone underground. Kaze looked over to Emry in hopes that she, or perhaps Solomon, would have a plan. "Do we try the elevators, or go for the big portal?" Kaze asked, not sure of which way to go with the crowds around them scattering in every direction.
