I actually have a question regarding the communication bit. It's established that an avatar can telepathically communicate with any Pokemon with whom they share at least one type. How easily does this communication take place? For example, lets say that David's Tirtouga makes a casual comment to him. Could Kaze and Seras "overhear" that comment, since they share Tirtouga's Water and Rock typing respectively, or would Tirtouga have to specifically choose to "send" them a message?

You know, that world building collab story session sounded like a great idea, only because it would flesh out the world more. Since the group IS technically filled, think it would be alright to name drop some other legendaries?

If anyone really wants to name-drop, that's fine, but please do it very vaguely. I don't want any specifying details like name, gender, age, region, etc. If we do end up needing more players, I want them to be able to fully choose what their character is like without having to contradict what another character said in passing.

My schedule's pretty loose, since I've only got essay-writing until February - some time between 2-10pm GMT on any day works for me in terms of real-time writing, while Sickle-Cell's generally around from 6pm GMT onwards, so pinning down a specific time within that range hopefully shouldn't be too hard :)

@Ardent Dawn Hmm. It's going to be pretty hard for me, since I'm seven hours behind you. I literally just got out of bed, and this is almost what I consider to be an early morning for me. I also have classes that I have to go to most of the week, so here's what I can do.

I cannot be expected to be awake before 2 - 3pm GMT. Mondays and Wednesdays I will be available after 6pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm good until 10:30pm. Fridays and weekends are completely open within reasonable times. Unless I have specifically stated otherwise, then I will be available within those times.

Having one time that everyone would be online would definitely be my preferred solution, but I'm just going to leave some brainstorming here in case everyone can't be online at the same time - I was still typing when @Leos Klien and @Thundercrash posted :P

My Hider

Finding a single time when everyone can be online is obviously the easiest solution, but barring that, there's two ideas that come to mind. The first would be to have two alternating collab groups for each timzone working on the same shared document, passing the conversation between each group. Half the players could collaborate in real-time about how they discovered that they were avatars, then pass the collab over to the second group - the second group then discuss how they found out they were avatars, then choose a new topic of conversation among themselves (how they believe people should treat avatars) and pass their chosen topic of conversation back to the first group (continuing as a loop). It makes conversations between two characters in different timezones harder, but it's probably the easiest way to make sure that everyone can be collaborating in real-time with several other players.

The other idea would be for everyone to post mini-responses onto a collab document when they're free - basically the same as posting on the forum, but in smaller PM-sized chunks that build up into a single collab post (with people meeting up as-and-when they can). It means that we could write a continuous conversation that would hopefully go faster than normal (since it's easier to spare time for shorter replies), but it doesn't mean that everyone's online at once - basically a halfway point between a collab post and the normal forum roleplaying.

I raise a question. Lets say we go with your mini-post idea. Why not just do the entire roleplay in some place like Titanpad or Google doc? It'd be easier than having to refresh a forum site over and over and over, waiting to see what somebody else does. And with a live chat, we could then actually talk to one another and share what sort of situations we want to create.

@Thundercrash I'm perfectly open to that idea - Roleplayer Guild has the notification system and PMs (as well as being easier for new players to browse through), but cross-posting from Titanpad to the forum would be the best of both worlds :)
