"Helloooo?, mhhmmm she's ignoring me". "Your lost", said Johnny and walked away.

"So, what can I do now?"

Before he could think about something the speakers started up.

"Greetings new students of Beacon Academy! Would you all please meet me at the auditorium for orientation! There should be one of the teachers near the front to guide you to the field! Thank you!"

"Of course, no time to rest for little Johnny", he whispered and tried to spot the teacher. Within a blink he spotted the teacher, who was standing beside some students, waving a sign up and down. He strolled over and started to introduce himself:

"Good morning. My name's Johnny Greyson. Nice to meet you!

Nerys walked toward the entrance with the other students. This was certainly a large school, she'll be surprised to find anything here! Perhaps she should ask a student or just somebody who looks like they know what they're doing.

Nerys sighed in relief. A teacher is what she needed! And they just announced one nearby! She stood on her toes to look for said teacher. She saw the sign and immediately rushed over.
"I'm Nerys Windrum! Nice to meet you!" Nerys chirped. It made her happy to see another fauness.

Alice felt awful for ignoring that one guy who tried to strike a friendly conversation with her. "I'll apologize later, but now I need to calm myself a little." she said quietly when she heard the intercom say "Greetings new students of Beacon Academy! Would you all please meet me at the auditorium for orientation! There should be one of the teachers near the front to guide you to the field! Thank you!" Alice hoped she could lower her anxiety a little more with a teacher. With a quick look around she found the teacher holding a sign with students surrounding. "Or maybe I won't" she said to herself making her way over.

She arrived at the teacher and said "I... I um... I-I'm A-Alice... N-Naomi..." quietly but just enough so the teacher could hear. She then kinda backed away then and went to the back of the group. Hopefully she hasn't already embarrassed herself to much as a first impression. "Definitely rough year..." she thought once again.

"Yeah, I'm a first year too. And my name is Weston Kaiser. Most people call me West though." West noticed that she was very proper, but he was happy that she wasn't pretentious. He was normally shy, but trained himself to keep eye contact with others. It would seem awkward to him for a moment, but as soon as he started talking as well, he forgot about eye contact and it just locked.

"Gaia is a pretty name. Like the goddess of the earth." The school PA system went off as he finished this last complement. He glanced away lookng for the source of noise. He found the speakers in the corner and stared at them like it would help him hear the announcement better. "Well it looks like we're going to have more company soon." As West looked back at her he really noticed her features and the way she spoke. Even her aura seemed a step above his.

"You said you were a first year right? You just seem...older. In a good way. I've been told I look old for my age, but I've never had that compliment about my maturity. I'm not immature, just not overly mature. Anyways, I'm done talking. Could you start please?" West was slightly embarrassed and hoping Vivianne would help fix that.

Kenneth silently cheered in his head at the announcement now that he knew he was going the right way. "I haven't screwed up yet. Just have to keep this up for four years and I'm home free." He thought to himself as he continued to the auditorium deciding to follow the girl in red in front of him who definitely looked like she knew where she was going, and he wasn't ready to give up his winning streak yet. Finally snapping out of his thoughts when he entered the auditorium and caught sight of the silver-grey haired teacher. He tensed slightly at the sight of her ears and then quickly tried to dismiss it. "Um am I in the right place?"

"Gladly." Replies Vivianne, a kind-hearted smile forming on her lips. "Firstly, I'd like to thank you for the compliment regarding my name, however you weren't far from the truth in speaking of its relationship to a goddess. My family tends to the Light Gaia shrine; I'm a Shrine Maiden, you see." She pauses before adding: "In case you don't know of the Light and Dark Gaia's, I'm more than willing to tell the tale. It's depicted in many storybooks, but those who tend to the shrines know the truth."

Even as she spoke now, she was perfectly engaged in the conversation. She wasn't even fazed by the announcement, instead channeling it out - disregarding it, even. Perhaps because she knew what it was likely for, and since she was already in the auditorium, well... it wouldn't do her much good to go back outside, would it? She leans forwards slightly, the hilt of her great sword making its presence more known. The blade looked extremely simple for a huntress weapon... Though, that may just be because it wasn't in action, yet.

She closes her eyes, giving a strange look of satisfaction. "I've been told by many that I'm rather mature for my age, but personally, I don't think that's true. Maturity and immaturity are very bland terms, in my opinion, holding as little differential value as the words 'good' and 'evil.' They're too simple words to best describe someone, and instead are used to generalise others toward a specific title - a brand." She reopens her eyes and smiles. "I don't believe I'm mature, for maturity comes when there's no need for immaturity. I just like to use rational thought to dictate my actions and words rather than letting my emotions get the best of me."

'After all... The last time I let that happen... people died...' Vivianne thought to herself, her expression briefly changing as she did so to one of grim, before returning her full attention back to West with another kind smile. "I suppose it's your turn now...?"

West had a big smile on his face now, reaching a nearly goofy look. "I would love to know the truth about the Light Gaia. I've heard some of the stories, but the truth is always the best. Whether people like it or not." West was lost in this woman's words. None of the other students fazed him as they moved around and filled the auditorium with commotion. He caught a glance of her weapon again as she sat forward, but ignored it as he could get to know this person much better by talking with her directly. He thought of his own for as long as the glance took as well. He wondered what others or even she might think about the drill on his back. If they could tell it was a drill. Most would probably just think it were a lance. Her weapon probably had some interesting secrets of it's own.

Looking away like he had just had an epiphany, he responded to her words on maturity. "I have never really liked those titles either, but I've never really had a good reason to dislike them. Your explanation of them is basically perfect. He looked back to with a sort of excitement. "I hate emotions too. Well at least the ones I've deemed bad. Like sadness or anger. They may be useful, but their times are farther and fewer between than they seem to be used. I guess I like emotion as long as they stay under my control."

West noticed her demeanor changed for a moment after she mentioned letting emotions getting the best of her. It sort of confused him. She was so composed, but maybe something happened that caused this. Emotions can cause a lot of fights, and he thought she might have had a falling out with a family member in the past. He had heard about some shrine massacre in passing, but didn't pay much attention to it. It probably wouldn't change his opinion of her much anyways. He had already formed his opinion of her and trusted her. "I guess something else I could add about myself is that I genuinely don't like drama. And not in the way that people say it to look for drama. Which leads me to wonder why I'm saying this now. Umm, I judge people too. Not in the bad way most people think, but probably more in the real way. Most don't like findings, and to be more specific found guilty. Everyone judges people though. It's how we make friends. The bad type of judgement would have to be hypocritical judgement. Where people expect more of others without looking at their own character. That's why I try not to be 'that guy'. Like 'that guy cut me off in traffic' or 'that guy is so rude."

Realizing this was becoming a pretty heavy conversation he decided to lighten it up a bit. "I also like ice cream." He finished his rant with this and returned eye contact. He had broken it a few times as he engaged his own thoughts, but always quickly returned it to her own. Her eyes had certainly caught his.

While Dante was walking toward the entrance he heard the announcement through the speakers which told that every student may come to the auditorium "Guess I'll have do this later" With these words, he put his letter into the inner pocket of his cloak and moved on to the entrance to get to the auditorium, where a lot of students already arrived.
He moved through the crowd to get to the teacher. While he was doing so, he was very polite and always told "Excuse me" or "May I ..." and supported his words wiht a gently push so he could pass by more easily. When Dante was infront of the teacher he told with a friendly and confident smile "Name is Dante Winfield" "By this occasion, may I ask you something?" Dante didn't wait for a question, not because he was impolite but rather this simple thing was more important to him then others might suggest. He pulled out his letter again and showed it to the teacher, on the letter you could see his symbol. "Could you please tell me where I could post this letter of mine?"

Vivianne couldn't help but giggle at the mention of ice cream, as the thought of the cool, sweet commodity entered her thoughts. "Yes, ice cream is rather nice. Personally, my favourite flavour is caramel." She spoke with an accent when she mentioned caramel, almost making the flavour sound foreign. She doesn't seem to notice though, or, more likely, it was intentional. "Judgement of others is normal. To make presumptions about those who look potentially dangerous can lead to a lack of injury to the self. But at the same time, there are times where the judgement of others can have a negative effect."

Her gaze hadn't shifted in the least. She held no interest in his weapon nor the world around them. Vivianne's focus was purely on the conversation at hand; to some, it might even be a little creepy, though of course her natural beauty and modest nature could distract them from these thoughts. "Negative emotions, in my opinion, hold no real value in the concept of man, aside from being the opposite to positive emotions. Balance is a key concept of life, hence why we have the Light and Dark Gaiae. Though we may not like it, sadness, anger and pain are all necessities. After all, if they didn't exist, whose to say joy, happiness and bliss wouldn't exist, either? They would become a normality - they'd no longer be special."

The Violet girl then clears her throat, before taking the pose of a teacher about to tell a story to her students. "But I presume you'd wish to know about the Twin Gaiae, no?" She asks, raising an eyebrow. "You may believe it if you so choose, but please, don't ridicule my faith. Though, something tells me you wouldn't be the type to do so..."

She smiles and nods to herself, as though she'd just made a good observation. "Right. Now, where to begin...?" She pauses, a finger touching her chin in brief contemplation. "Well... I suppose we go back to a time before Remnant even existed. Long ago, there was no world - Remnant was nothing more than particles of gas and debris in the emptiness of space; the world as we know it today was nothing more than a dream - an idea. There were no men, Grimm, or even water, for that matter. The world was in a broken state, split apart into the tiniest fractions, unable to come together without a creator. In a sense, it was much like the start of a game - a game where one's materials were laid out in the emptiness, waiting for a creator."

Vivianne spoke with the fluency of a poet, and struck all the right points, delivering her performance well. However, she wasn't near done, yet.

"As time went by, unrecorded by the nothingness, eventually two beings came across the fractured bundles of resources. These beings are known as Dark Gaia and Light Gaia. The twin deities who formed our world weren't always so opposed to each other. In fact, they used to get along well - the reason behind our world's creation was because they worked together to make a brand new concept in the vast spectrum of things in this universe of ours. This new concept was known as 'life'."

"But before they could create life, they needed the fundamentals to support it. This started with a basic combination of their life force -- energy in it's purest form -- which soon split into many smaller variants. Of the Dark Gaia came darkness, ice, and negativity. Of the Light Gaia came light, fire, and positivity. Combinations such as luminosity, lightning, and neutrality soon came into being, and as time passed, a whole myriad of things within this world had come into being. Finally, the two had the potential to create life."

"However..." Vivianne pauses, trailing to add dramatic effect, and to make sure he was listening. "The Gaiae had different ideas as to what 'life' should be. For Dark Gaia, the Grimm were the ideal forms of life. For Light Gaia, man, animals and other such creatures of purity were ideal candidates for life. This was where the twins butted heads, and where the war between Grimm and humanity come into play."

"Dark Gaia had put all it's might into it's creation's strength, whereas Light Gaia had given the humans something no other creature could posses - a cognitive ability, to bresk the chain of instinct. This ability was then channeled into the resource in which humanity could use to beat the Grimm - a mystical element known as 'Dust'. Though it was a finite resource, if applied well, it was enough to even the fight. After humanity's initial beating, they were introduced to the holy element, and have since taken to a life of relative peace. However, as the supply of Dust declines, the Creatures of Grimm grow stronger, and soon, we will no longer have the courage to defeat those who thrive on humanity's fears, doubts, and other such negative emotions."

Vivianne tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, as she nears the end of her tale. "The Gaiae Twins left it to their creations to decide which life form should survive, in a giant battle royale of elimination between light and darkness. They hid beneath Remnant, deep within its core, watching silently from within, waiting for they day in which one may emerge victorious."

"... So, what are your thoughts, now that you've heard it from a Shrine Maiden of the Light Gaia?" Vivianne asks with a smile. It seems she was really interested in his opinion. "I'm aware it's not exactly as cool as the 'Story of the Four Seasons', but I believe it to be the truth. After all, legends aren't just created from nowhere."

West was enthralled in her story about the light and dark Gaia. He was interested in history and the start of the world himself. Wondering which stories about the start of this world was true. He had heard simple stories about the light and dark Gaia before and it seemed like the most likely explanation to their world, but there were to many holes and questions he had about it to really think it true himself. That was until now. Vivianne's explanation was more in depth than any of the other stories he had heard about them. She told it with absolute certainty as well. There was very little if no hint of doubt to the truth she told. He had to take it in for a moment to be able to find the words to describe her story. "Well I think it was great. I've heard stories before, but none as good or detailed as that one. I've wondered about our beginnings, but very few have been able to give a good answer before. Maybe you can teach me more of the ways of the Gaia sometime. I'd actually really like to hear more about them and their teachings."

He was genuinely interested to hear more about both the light and the dark Gaia. He was interested in religious things, but his family and this world wasn't as interested. It might have come as a passing thought to them, but it always did just that, passed. They were too worried about surviving and defeating the grimm to take time for religion. Plus with Dust there were no need for gods or higher beings to do work for us. Humans had to fend for themselves. He also wondered things like why the dark Gaia would make such a destructive force as the grimm, but what would the world be like if there were only grimm? He certainly had a lot to take in. Some of it new. Some he had thought about before. "'The Four Seasons' is a good story, but there's no way that's true. Plus I thought yours was better."

The title Shrine Maiden struck his mind now. That sounds like a relatively peaceful title. How did she come to be a warrior? Since they were already picking each others brains. "So how did you come to be a warrior? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Shrine Maidens don't sound like they would be warriors. Do they actually teach you to fight at your shrine? And is that where you got your weapon?"

Vivianne seems genuinely pleased at hearing his reception of the story, as though she'd just done a good deed in telling him. The story of the Twin Gaiae was supposed to inspire creativity in others, as well as provoking thought to come into being. She was definitely happy to hear that he wanted to hear more about her faith. "Ooh, yes! If there's anything you wish to know regarding the Gaiae Twins, please, do come and ask me. I'm sure there are some resources within Beacon Academy's archives, however whether they speak truth or not is to be decided."

At the mention of her being a Warrior Shrine Maiden, Vivianne reaches for the magenta pendant that rests around her neck, holding it close to her like it were some kind of sacred treasure. Though, knowing Vivianne, it probably was something of the like. "Most Shrine Maidens don't learn to fight, however many take to a second set of skills in life outside of tending to their respective shrines. From Dust salesmen to simple vendors, military personnel to farmers, metal smiths to accountants, as well as everything else. Since society wasn't built based upon religious principle, they generally have to make a living for themselves. My family has taken to the role of hunter and huntresses for generations, now, handing down this legendary blade from one great warrior to the next..." She pauses as she mutters to herself, in a voice barely above a whisper: "Well, most were great, anyway..."

Vivianne then refocuses toward the conversation at hand. "We aren't taught to fight at the shrine. That would be disrespectful to the Light Gaia, now, wouldn't it?" She chuckles, offering him a smile. "We learn to fight by those before us - our elders. Each shrine generally has a different place they train. For my shrine, that's the woods just outside of Vale's walls. As for my weapon..." She pauses as she reaches behind her, taking out the blade slowly and resting it on her lap. Even then, it's quite large; it's almost as long and wide as Vivianne!

"My blade, like my semblance, was passed down to me. Well, in the case of my semblance it's different, but my blade was passed down directly to me. Have you heard of the tales of Durandal? Long ago -- and I'll keep tis story short --, at a time where man was still in it's early stages of discovery, there was a man named Durandal. He was a righteous man who fought with this very blade, as a protector of man when he was at his weakest. Whilst the man eventually died in a glorified battle, his weapon, which has since taken his name, was passed down through his family. As you can see, it's currently in my possession, though more recently it has been fitted to suit more modern hunters and huntresses..." As she says this, she flicks a switch by the hilt, and suddenly, the blade splits in half, giving way to a massive barrel. At the bottom of the handle, a firearm stock reveals itself, and the blade's tip gives it a very small iron sight. Vivianne pulls the handle of the blade, revealing a hole which directly lead to the barrel, and shows what could quite possibly be the largest round of Dust created.

"You see, Durandal works very much like a shotgun when it's in this mode..." Vivianne says, showing how the round of dust can be directly inserted into the barrel. Something about her demeanor seems to change as she speaks of the weapon, though, like she was getting excited. "You insert the canister here, and close the handle, so it's ready to fire. The trigger is just down here, and in pulling so... well, I shouldn't pull it right now, but it shoots a round capable of knocking down concrete walls that are very thick. Of course, this works just as well, if not better, on Grimm."

She removes the dust canister and puts it behind her back, with the others. "Unfortunately, I only have five, so I can't use them often. Maybe I can get more, but they're not cheap, seeing as they have to be custom made..." As she finishes speaking, she blushes out of embarrassment after realising just how long she'd been talking. "S-sorry... I get a little excited sometimes and talk too much... What about you? What's the history behind you and your weapon?"

West was glad to hear that Vivianne would be willing to teach him more about the Twin Gaiae. In fact she seemed almost excited to teach him more about it. He wasn't so sure about searching the archives though. There was a lot there and it sounded like she was more sure of herself in knowledge of the Gaiae than the archives. The Shrine Maidens were obviously very capable and it would make sense that they needed other jobs in this world. Even spending the time they do on religion would probably warrant looks of disgust. The world was at relative peace now, but no one cared about the beings that helped bring it about. They only cared about the beings that could take it away.

He makes a mental note of fighting or training around the Light Gaia was disrespectful. He was interested to hear she also trained outside of the Vale walls, but in the forest instead unlike him. He also learned his skills from elders of sort, and most of his skills had to be honed on his own. He watched in amazement as she pulled the massive sword around her. She did it slowly and with complete control. It was quite nearly as big as she was and it looked like she could wield it as a shortsword. Maybe that was the next step in West's training. He had always worked on his legs for power and only kept enough muscle in his arms to keep his lance steady. This still required a lot of work, but if he could wield his lance like a rapier, how much more effective would he become.

Durandal was a rather stoic name. Durandal certainly looked like a legendary sword and the story behind backed up that appearance. The modifications were rather impressive as well. Sort of similar to West's lance, but short ranged rather than long ranged. He was surprised to actually see a round larger than the ones he used. They were custom made, but it was easier for his family. His father was a successful dust salesman.

"No you're fine talking. I like hearing things. Things can be quite exciting quite often. Especially when worthy to be spoken of. Anyways my dad is a dust salesman in Vale. No where near the power of the Weiss family, but we are pretty well off. He probably would have wanted me to take over the family business, or probably still does, but I think he gave up on that dream long ago. I was much to excited to run around as a kid. I was a smart kid too, well booksmart anyways. My teachers hated me because I would finish a test before the other students and dismiss myself to run around the room a few times. It annoyed them even more when my tests had good marks. Anyways my father realized I needed an outlet for my energy if I was going to keep up with studies. That's where my uncle comes in.

My uncle became a hunter instead of getting involved in the business. He's quite the expert with his spear, and he began to teach me how to fight as an outlet. It worked a little too well. Soon I began to enjoy the training much more than studying. I kept my grades high enough to satisfy my dad while spending all of my free time training. My uncle only taught me how to use a spear, but I praciced the basic jab with a spear the most. I soon found that a torquing motion worked best to penetrate deeper into objects. I also found that a spear wasn't the best tool for this, so using materials I bought and the tools in my dads shop I constructed my own Lance."
At this time he brought his lance out from behind him. It was shorter and stocky for a moment, only reaching from the floor to his head while sitting, but at the push of a button the length doubled, shooting up into a nine foot lance with a three foot pole. Three veins circled the lance several times running from the tip to the bottom. He quickly retracted it again, not wanting to draw to much attention to himself.

"It also has a motor and rapidly spins to add even more power too it. I'm pretty proud of it. I actually learned more of my particular fighting style on my own time in the quarry. I also practiced outside of Vale walls, but I was in the old dust quarry. I saw a joust at a fair once and figured out how I could apply their power. I bought a retractable shield there as well and the next time I went to the quarry I practiced a new technique." He quickly extended and retracted his shield exposing his orange coloring with a black and white spiral in the center. "It worked really well for me. Since I had always been running around I had the speed to really complement this style. I trained a lot to get faster and more accurate. One day my uncle brought me these boots. Their dust powered and they give an explosive burst. I loved bouncing around in them obliterating rocks all day, but my uncle saw that if I wanted to fight I would need to be accurate. We soon began training on pebbles instead of boulders. He would throw it and I would have to destroy it before it hit the ground. I was soon even unstoppable at this, but I realized I wouldn't be able to reach some targets if they were very far off. I again took my lance to my dads shop and made some more modifications."

With another push of a button his lance spun into position and the hilt folded over. The hilt formed the butt-stock while parts of the lance slid away to reveal a scope inside of it and opposite parts separated to reveal the trigger mechanism. The large chunk of the tip receded into the lance leaving a flat hole on the end of it. "This is my sniper he proudly stated. The rounds are pretty large as well, so it only holds four at a time, including the tip." He pulled out one of the rounds showing her a drill shaped round that was slightly smaller than her own. "It's custom made like your own, but it's pretty easy for me at my dad's shop. I could probably make some of yours as well if you'd like. Mine works a lot different than yours too. It'll put a hole in just about anything, but it'll only do just that. The last mod that we put on her was another small resevior of explosive dust in the hilt. Just a little something for even more speed."

West had also realized he had just given his whole lifestory and probably could have summarized parts of it. She really probably doesn't care about your training. She does her own training too. Taking a quick breath after his long winded speech he finally finished it. "Sorry, I get excited over weapons. I think you can tell a lot about a person from them, but yeah there's my lifestory now. I hope it didn't bore you to much."

As the remaining students entered the auditorium Ms Auburn begins to walk on the stage. As she does so another faunas with purple hair and a woman dressed like a ninja came from behind the curtains. Ms Auburn walked to the microphone handing one each to the other girls. "Greetings 1st year students of Beacon Academy! My name is Ms. Auburn Granite and I will be one of your 5 instructors this year!" Ms Auburn said as she turned to the ninja girl. "Greetings!" She said cheerfully "My names Ms. Nakano Erika! I am also one of your teachers this year." Next the purple haired faunas walked forward "Hello." She said monotonously "My names is Raine. I am also a teacher." She added just as monotonously "Short, sweet, and to the point!" Auburn said "That's our leader for you!" Nakano said "One of the other teachers is LATE! But she should be here soon." Ms Auburn said sounding irritated when saying 'Late' Suddenly a loud 'woohoo!" was heard as a woman with short blonde hair wearing aviators comes swinging down from the ceiling and landing on the stage. The woman takes off her aviators to reveal very familiar lilac eyes "Hello Beacon! Man its good to be back, and as a teacher no less! Welcome my names is Yang Xiao Long! Originally a member of Beacon's own Team RWBY! Though now I am a member of Team RAYN with these lovely ladies!" Yang said (Note: Pronounced like Rain like the leaders name) Now then! Not much to say this orientation but I would like to start each year with you guys with a Yang!" Yang yelled as the students in the auditorium clapped and cheered in amazement. "No way. This has to be a dream. I'm attending Beacon Academy as the legendary Yang Xiao Long is teaching? This is amazing!" Gali called at the top of his lungs. Yang noticed Gali's bright yellow hair as she leaned back to whisper to Auburn "Isn't that one of your old students Auburn?" Yang whispered "Yeah but he doesn't seem to recognize me at all." She said with a giggle "Maybe because you wore that disguise when you taught him all those years ago." Nakano said "Maybe. He reminds me so much of his mother though, and his sister too." Auburn said "You mean Jasmine the Golden Arrow?" Nakano asked "Thats the sister. Hasani was known as Golden Veil. A Great leader of her time. So much of a family resemblance if you ask me." Auburn explained.

"No, not at all! I'm a bit of a weapons maniac myself." It was strange, hearing those words from one with a voice generally associated with soft-spoken idols or Angels. "That's impressive, how you taught yourself. I was tutored by two different instructors -- my father, as well as another hunter who helped me get into Beacon -- and I never really did much of my own training. They say I have lots of natural talent, though."

'... But natural talent generally doesn't kill other people, does it...?'

Strangely, she gulps, shaking her head as though shaking off a bad thought (which, in all actuality, she was). "Your history is rather interesting, West. I simply trained and tended to the shrine until I was ready for Beacon." A lie, though it was practically impossible to figure it out. She'd remained perfectly composed throughout! "At least I have stories to help make my own background at least partly interesting." She chuckles.

Just as she finishes saying this, the teachers on stage begin their announcements. She was completely focused on the teachers' introductions. However, as Yang made her appearance, Vivianne gasps. "That's... incredible. Yang Xiao Long is going to be one of our teachers?" She asks herself, staring at the golden shot-gauntlet user with heavy admiration. "Amazing... They're all amazing...! This year - it's going to be interesting, I just know it. We'll be out fighting Grimm in no time soon enough if these are our teachers."

Seth sat in the back and watched as the teachers took the stage and one by one introduced themselves. Seth had one headphone on to listen to his music while listing to the teachers. He nodded with his music while humming with the tune.

He paused his music and his right eye twitched at Yang’s comment and sighed, “Great, she’s one of those teachers that acts like the youth she teaches because she thinks she’s cool.” Seth rubbed his eyes in annoyance. However, the auditorium cheered after her comment like it was the greatest thing in the world. Seth stayed quiet as he clapped and rolled his eyes.

Vivianne finished her joke about her past being boring as the teachers made their entrance. West thought entirely the opposite. Her story had intrigued him more than he had been in a while. His ego grew a little as she commented his ability to teach himself. He was rather proud of some of his accomplishments, but never tried to be flashy with them, should he look like a showoff. West took her last comment about training and tending the shrine to heart, not catching any hint of lies within her. It was rather vague, but training was a boring topic to most.

West turned to give his attention to the teachers at the same time as Vivianne. "Wow all of these teachers are great." Then everyone turned as Yang made her appearance. West laughed at her entrance and introduction as a teacher. "Haha, with a teacher like her, we're definitely going to die this year. Whether by Grimm or by her hand is the question."

Celia inspected the teachers thoroughly as they introduced themselves. Raine, Ms. Auburn, Yang and Nakano. Team RAYN. The teaching staff seemed to be allright, although she didn't know what to think of Yang. She was a well known person and a remarkable fighter but she also was a bit too easy-going in Celias opinion. "Well I hope she is as good with the fighting as she is with bad puns..." Celia sighted.

Lan watched as the teachers came onstage and introduced themselves, however one teacher stood out in particular to her. It was none other than Yang Xiao Long from team RWBY, although she had oddly introduced herself as part of team RAYN. It was hard not to hear about the adventures Yang and her team, especially their biggest accomplishment of putting Cinder away. The girl was excited that someone as famous as Yang was teaching at this school, maybe with luck she could even get some lessons on hand to hand combat.

"Before we send you off to explore the campus I have a small announcement to make!" Yang said into the microphone as she took out her pda. She presses a button on her PDA causing a screen to pop up above her head. "At this moment I will be announcing the teams for you first years!" Yang calls out as she brings up 4 boxes on the screen, each box has a face blacked out. "The first team to announce this year is comprised of... Johnny Greyson! Alice Naomi! Kenneth Ironside! and Zena Lavinia!" She said as the four blacked out boxes revealed the following students faces "Together they are Team JAKZ! Led by Johnny Greyson!" The four faces were swept aside as four new boxes were brought up. "Next we have... Celia Garrett! Seth Rush! Weston Kaiser! and Vivianne Gaia! The boxes did the same thing earlier and revealed the following faces "Together they are Team CSWV! Led by Ceria Garrett" The boxes were swept aside as again new ones were revealed "Next we have... Galiden Zane Scarlet! Lán Yuèliàng Lóng! Dante Winfield! and Nerys Windrum! Together they are Team GLDN! Led by Galiden Zane Scarlet!" Yang said as the final(in terms of us) faces were revealed. This process continued as the last remaining teams were announced. "That will be all for this years orientation! Be sure to go an explore the campus with your team! Your teams dorm rooms have been sent to your PDA's! That concludes this orientation! Again lets start this year off with a Yang!" Yang exclaimed as the students clapped and cheered. Soon after students began to get up and walk out of the auditorium and meeting up with their fellow team members. "Phew! Better go find my teammates. Hope they didn't leave already." Gali said as he quickly jumped up top above the seats to search for his teammates in the crowd.

(NOTE: JAKZ = Jacks, CSWV = Swive or as I call it Swift, and GLDN = Golden. Also yes there will be some npc teams)

"Of course they're great, that's Yang Xiao Long...!" Vivianne replies in awe, staring at the woman with much admiration. Yang was probably the one person who could teach her what she needed to know - self-control. Despite her energetic and easy-going attitude, Yang was always the most aware of what she was and wasn't capable of, especially after the tournament. At least, that's what Vivianne thought, anyways.

"She's the one...!" Vivianne whispers to herself. "She can teach me how to control-..."

She stops herself from speaking, both out of respect for the people giving the presentation, and because she didn't want to give away her secrets. If anyone asked, she could play it off as wanting to fully control Durandal. Vivianne keeps quite as they announce the teams, smiling with satisfaction as she hears her name accompanied by West's. "Though it's a shame they base leadership qualities by name, I'm happy we're at least in the same team, Master Kaiser." She nods to herself and continues watching the orientation until the end, when she promptly stands.

"Now that that's over..." She murmurs, checking her PDA for her- no, their new room. "I believe it's time to head to our dorm, no? I'd like to meet the other members, too, and the likelihood of finding them there is quite high. Also..." She pauses, looking to the side, a little embarrassed. "I've... never shared a room with anyone before, let alone two boys... I hope all the things I've heard about teenage boys aren't applicable to all of them."
