Wylde Hunt happens at Falk's whim. It's generally when he needs to drive out the other Courts, hunt down something in wrath or fury. It's a army, and the height of Falk's power of his Fae. Few Fae have seen the hunt and lived, those that do will not speak of it, and Fall Fae don't openly discuss the Hunt with outsiders. It's a Fall matter and the Fall like their mysteries. And the Wylde Hunt brings death and sorrow in it's wake.

In Eragon a true name was much less a title and much more an idea. When you understood something completely, be it an object or a person there True Name would form in your mind and grant you control over that thing. This means that a person doesn't actually know his true name at birth and in order to learn it must accept every part of him even those hidden parts that no one wants to acknowledge about themselves.

As LadyRunic said we're not doing that.

I watched the movie eragon, but they didn't really cover that and I was informed by the book loving husband that compared to the book the movie sucked

@Prince of Seraphs Melody is her true name, though she's not stupid enough to give that out, even though she isn't Fae. She's never actually given her real name out to anyone, not even other humans, so Songstress is the only name anyone will get. At least, until they gain her trust, and well...good luck in that department.

The movie was alright, it just could have been about a hundred thousand times better if the screen writer had read the book before her wrote the screen play. The true names thing was a plot point in books three and four and slightly foreshadowed in book 2.

Not that anyone will know this but Raven's true name is Amaltheia Ravenstone.

...im stressed and that brings out the stalker in me

anyway I'm thinking i can use the salamanders to my advantage in this case and have Galahad feel really really not important. especially considering how I'm going to describe the messenger ones XD

i can make a long post doing a bunch of stuff that can get those interacting with Feoras or wanting to interact with him caught up in one swift typing....also i ate ice cream with lots of sugar so i can do it quickly XD

Objectively speaking the movie was a bit predictable and generally didn't stand out but there wasn't inherently anything wrong with it. It just didn't follow the Eragon storyline beyond base concepts and quashed most of the plot point important to the following book ensuring there wouldn't be a sequel. It wasn't really Eragon but as a movie it was alright.
