@Krinos Solstice Did your character actually just give a "I've been shot and about to die speech". Cause with that much blood coming out of her I don't buy it. I mean cops firing from cover at a low angle at a crazy woman running at them. The odds of them not hitting one of her lungs are astronautical. Even if she doesn't have a punctured lung, you get shot in the chest and actually do have the inclination to say something you've likely got the number of words you can get out in one breath. If you're lucky two breaths, which is likely six to eight words, not an entire soliloquy.

Three types:
Messengers
Peasants
Middle Class

Peasants and Middle Class generally wear glamours to avoid freaking people out while the messengers just scuttle about doing whatever they like in their natural salamander form till they're called upon to deliver messages. They mostly hang out in the fire places of the Summer Court. Nikko is a cute Salamander.

Did I get that right?

Also Inkheart is a full trilogy which just got better and better as the books went on. Granted the girl picked the wrong guy at the end but otherwise great series.

three types within the court:
Servants-they are the ones other servants go to and are found in their glamour form
Middle class/peasent-they are high ranking common folk also found in glamour
Messengers-used like messenger birds and in their natural form

basically right, even if the salamander is a peasant they are treated better then such due to Feoras' adopted father being a salamander. basically if you are a salamander or one of Feoras' close fae you get treated better. Much like how it is great to be Norwegian in Denmark (they get free beer and treated fantastically)

as for where to bring her in it would depend on who is able to interact. I am uncertain of how many are active in each court, but i do know there is an adorable four year old wandering in summer along with a fall fae hiding out in summer and various other fae in different areas. All rulers however, are in the meeting now.

*looks at Falk* so a certain terrifying Fae dent have to get all murdery with Feoras
