Jen blinked as her slowly faded to white, with a single black strip flowing through it. Her irises turned an off white, with a single black fleck in her right eye.
"Uhh... this is new," She said, not even noticing that her hand had passed through Wes and was now hanging at her side.

"My name is Veronica and I can control energy wavelengths near me. Over there is Wes and Jen, Wes can adapt and Jen... is an energy vampire, try not to touch her skin. We also have Katherin who basically just has awesome wings, and that white haired guy over there can manipulate his bones. Lastly we have Kiiros, your friendly neighborhood asshole, he does fire." Veronica introduced the group to David, pointing at them as she talked.

"See...told you..." panting a little as his hand and part of his arm stay in incorporeal mode while her skin was still exposed right next to him. Wes couldn't help but to be a little intrigued by what just happened. He never experienced such a feeling but of course, he was still able to adapt in a way he didn't think. looking on at his arm, he looked over "You probably gotta put your glove back on or back away from me a bit so my arm can go back to normal. As long as the danger or situation is still present, I stay in the adaptation until the situation is gone or done." he said.

Jen lifted her hand away from him and put her glove back on, looking a little dazed.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you," she said, but almost as if it was just an afterthought, as if she was distracted.

As soon as the danger was contained, Wes' body shifted back to normal on it's own. "Tch...It ain't shit for you to be sorry about. That's your power you use to survive with and I ain't injured or knocked out. That's like me saying, sorry I survived." he said averting his eyes almost as if he didn't care about the entire demonstration.

Veronica did a double take after finishing introducing people to David. She witnessed them touch on the first go around and looked back just in time to see Wes' arm re materialize! Veronica had a concerned look on her face as she ran over to Jen and Wes "What just happened? I go to talk to the new guy and I turn around and see arms re-appearing! What emotion even makes your hair that colour?

"None. He doesn't taste of anything. Except... that," she said, tapping the black streak.

Starting to understand the situation, Veronica said "So...no emotion tastes like rice? But he had a dash of soy and you got something? And now what is that emotion/colour? Sorry for the 20 questions, just trying to get a solid grasp on how these powers work...and make sure you guys are ok. She exhaled audibly after this.

Looking over at Veronica coming back over to ask what just happened, Wes shrugged "Just wanted to prove she can't hurt me for long..." he said with little explanation.

Hearing her mention what the color represented, Wes looked away, feeling that someone would ask him why there's so much hate in his heart. "how does it feel?" he asked Jen

Slightly irked by the living on the streets comment, Veronica told Wes "Not necessarily, I have lived on the streets for a few years and I still have plenty of emotion. You probably have had it harder than me though, not being in danger would make you more careless, harder to get the blood pumping."

Kiiros went over to the group after finally getting something to drink and decided to interrupt their little conversation. He approached the new guy they were talking to and put an arm around his shoulder. "Say, you look like a fun guy. Mysterious like a shadow of unknown origin!" He suddenly got really poetic out of no where. "Like a star lost in space, no planets to call it's own...." He tried to contain a giggle. You'd think one of the doctors slipped something into the drink they gave him. "So what's your name tall, dark and scary?" He flashed him a toothy grin.

David lookd at them all. They all seemed useful and could help him escape this place. "Its nice to meet you. Like I said my name is David Markova.." He loked at Kiiros, already annoyed by him. "Your not very bright are you?" David said to Kiiros. David looked around the room, looking for a place to escape. He tried to think of a plan. "We need to escae this place... He mumbles

Well at least this one mumbles about escape.
"Look, we are planning on escaping eventually but for right now, we just need to do as the guards tell us and get along. Also glad to see you clued into the 'Kiiros is an idiot and is probably going to be the one who kills us' thing that we have all firmly gotten to know." veronica said low and jokingly.

"Hey, hey, HEY! I'm no villain here! I have no intentions to go 'killing' any of you." He was trying to sound as honest as possible, he doubts they'd believe him anyway. He lowered his voice almost to a whisper. "I may not seem too inclined on escaping, but that's because I have other intentions, not involving either of you. So don't be so quick to judge just yet." He may not be very kind hearted but he doesn't purposefully go around making people hate him, he's just being himself. 'I might need the help of these people in the future. Best to try and stay at LEAST on neutral ground.'

David said "Im making a plan ton escape. Im trhying to think here.." David lookd at the guards. *I need power to make myself stronger. maybe* He turned to the guy who controls lightening. "Hit me with everything you got. Dont worry about killing me I can handle it."
