Jen nodded to the scientist, before sprinting forward, bouncing between the panels easily, landing lightly on the other side.
'7 seconds,' she thought to herself.
She quickly grabbed the bar above her head and let out a sigh, before pulling upwards with all her strength. She managed to all the way up to the last bar, before she let out a groan.

Damien didn't like the look of this so far. Jen handled the first two obstacles rather well, but at the last bit of the salmon run, it was clear she was struggling. "Come on Jen!" Damien yelled.

Jen let out a cry as she finally managed the last one, pulling herself up and lying on the ground for a second, panting.

Veronica was proud of how well she was doing, most of the salmon run without even having a to use her power...but she was struggling.
"Come on you got this!" She shouted out from the sidelines.

Jen got up and started towards the hanging balls, bouncing across them quickly. She picked up her speed for the swing and grabbed on, trying to leap off at the right time. She fumbled grabbing the net and fell with a gasp into the water

Kiiros broke out into fits of laughter. "AHAHAHA! You-haha, you were so CLOSE! HAHAHA!!"

Damien nearly jumped off the edge himself as he stared at where Jen fell. "JEN!!!!" Damien yelled. He looked at the water, hoping she would come back up soon, and the scientist's threat of falling in the water was just a buff.

Damien stomped towards Kiiros and reeled up for a punch to the mouth. "You fucking asshole!"

Veronica silently shifted over and gave a solid kick to the back of Kiiros legs. then moved back and continued watching.

The second she hit the water Jen would realize that it wasn't just water. In fact it wasn't water at all. The scientist had added a mild acid to the water in this section of the water. It was strong enough to irate her skin. Maybe even give a mild burning sensation depending on how sensitive she was to the acid.

"AH!" He wasn't expecting them to hit him. He looked at them from the floor with anger burning in his eyes. He looked like he was going to kill them, but he calmed down and just backed off to sit against the wall, glaring daggers at them and rubbing his face from the punch.

Damien turned around from Kiiros, and saw Jen at the water. It looked like... he didn't know if he was seeing things... but it looked like Jen was getting burnt!? Damien rushed around, and saw the ladder Jen could use to get up. Damien clambered down and waited for her, holding a hand out for when she got to him. It didn't matter if he got touched by the acid, it didn't matter if she drained him. All that matters is that Jen got out. "HURRY!" he called out.

Kiiros stood up from where he was sitting and tried to look closer. "Is that..... acid?!"

Jen quickly swam over to the ladder, trying to ignore the sensation, pulling herself out, falling to her knees once she was out.

Veronica ran over to the scientist by the course, seeing everyone freak out and the water not looking like, or behaving like water.
"WHAT DID YOU BASTARDS DO TO THE WATER?" She was creaming in the scientists face, trying as hard as possible to not push him in.

Jen stood up slowly.
"Veronica, calm down," She said quietly, "I'm fine."
She started to make her way over to the next obstacle.

Damien felt the sensation of Jen's power absorption for the first time as he gripped her hand to pull her towards the ladder. Damien felt like his arm was going to be sucked into her own, but Damien pulled her to regardless, and rolled over to the side of the ladder as they both reached the platform again. He stood up, a tiny bit groggy from the power. "Damn, you... you had us worried Jen. Are you okay?"

Veronica gave the scientist one last glare as she walked away, a guard came up to her and put the handcuffs back on. "We were actually going to do this anyway but thanks for reminding us." he said. Veronica walked back to the group "What was that in there? I heard something about acid..."

Jen gasped as her hair and eyes turned to blue.
"Get your hand off me," She said quickly.

"Yes there is a mild acid it that section. It wont hurt you much. Jen your done. Go back to the wall. Let someone else take a try." The scientist answered.
