Jens eyes opened slowly.

Veronica also shuddered. "Yeah, memories."

Jen took a breath and sat up.
"I think I'm ready to go back in now," she said after a few moments.

Heading back to the others would probably do them some good. "I'll go in after another minute."

"Okay," Jen said, smiling a little, "Just don't stay away too long."

Jen headed back inside, seeing Kiiros, Damien and Wes at the side, and James on the course.

Veronica soaked up her last bit of sunshine before heading back inside. Joining the others.

Wes shook his head on the name he called James even though it did fit well. "Yeah, I guess you can say that but...in the mean time, feeling better, sunshine?" he asked Kiiros.

Jen watched James progress.
"Not bad," she said.

"Yes.... I feel so much better... after almost dying. Like a full body massage." He didn't actually seem all too bothered about the little accident much. He had a bigger question in mind. He turned to Wesley and Veronica, who had just returned, with a smirk. "So... what made you save me? Bravado?" that was at least his best bet. "Or was it purely out of the loving kindness of your heart?"

"I helped just because I couldn't let, even you, die when I could help. And I could not bear to let you die before I got to properly know you." She said partly jokingly at Kiiros.

He shrugged at Veronicas response. "You almost had me convinced there for a second." Kiiros chuckled. He refused to believe anybody would bother themselves with worrying about his well being, future friendship or not. He doesn't WANT people to care about him, because it's not fair considering he can't do the same. He lacked in what humans call, compassion, and often finds himself sometimes jealous of those who have an abundant of said trait. He couldn't shed a tear for a single victim of his, even when they were children.

Jen walked over to Wes, Veronica and Kiiros.
"What did he say now?" She asked.

"Had you convinced that I cared? Or that I wanted to know you?" Veronica was beginning to wonder if Kiiros was even understanding the joke she was making.

"Both, or any possible reason really." He put his hands in his pockets. "Saving me is a waste of valuable time and energy. I don't think I'd even do it. I'd much rather be making paper cranes."

After hearing he was fine and dandy, Wes cracked a small smile when asked why he save him. "Besides the reasons V-mama wanted to help you, I just wanted to do it to remind you that the one you wanted to outdo, ended up saving your ass. Basically hold that shit over your head when or if you try to pull some back-stabbing shit on me. So...with that said...We ain't friends...but we are stuck together for now..." he explained.
