Ouch, good move but...damn that was a good counter. Veronica didn't have enough time to try and cushion the fall, so she instead used the momentum to roll back and use both legs to kick Jen off and over her. Their faces got close to touching, but Veronica was able to kick her away before they could.

"Unlikely." Kiiros had made a circle around the arena to go join the group after he cooled off his temper. He hopped over the seat he was standing behind and sat down next to Wesley. "The two apparently have a close bond or some girly crap like that, if anything they'll respect or admire each other more."

While Wesley was still watching, checking out the new moves both girls just displayed, his eyes darted over the direction he heard the voice. Kiiros happened to just come up and sit next to Wes even though in Wes' mind, he didn't want him sitting there but gave a shrug to the matter after giving it a thought. "Females tend to stick together more often. they may gain more respect from everyone else here." looking out the corner of his eye at Kiiros "That is if...you give a damn about all of that?"

Damien nodded as he got Katherin out just as Jen and V was just about to enter. "Well, I'm glad you're all right. You put up a good fight against Mr. Psycho over there." He complimented with a wink. He set Katherin down on a spectator seat and called for some doctors to come over. Damien sat down next to her and watched Jen and Veronica battle it out. "Damn, everyone's so good at fighting..." He thought. Everyone seemed so professional in combat. Damien could brawl, sure, but compared to these guys, he would be quite frankly fucked in a fight against everyone. Agility was the one thing he had over most of the others here, but that wasn't going to cut it alone. He had to rely on that and what he learnt from scraps he's been in, in the past.

Jen panted as she stood back up.
"You're good," She commented, waiting for the other girl to get up before attacking again.

Even with the adrenaline coursing through her, Veronica was starting to get tired. "You to." She would have said more but could not waste breath on banter. She began to heal back to full as she waited for the other to attack.

Kiiros didn't bother to dignify his question with an answer. "I don't particularly understand the two. Honestly the only thing keeping them close to each other is their sad miserable pasts. Otherwise they don't have anything in common, their personalities are too different and they've only known each other for 4 hours." He rest his chin in his hand, narrowing his eyes. "I just don't understand how you could possibly make friends like that so fast."

Jen darted forwards, throwing a few punches at several parts of Veronica's body, before moving back a bit.

Damien overheard Wes's and Kiiros's conversation and just couldn't help himself to butt in. "Look Kiiros, I think the answer is pretty simple. I mean, I don't know if I'm one to talk but maybe not trying to kill everyone in a ten metre radius is a pretty good place to start. Sorry to interrupt Wes." He commented with a half-sarcastic tone, even if what he said had a bit of truth behind it.

"If that's all they need to hit it off to be good friends then....more power to them. opposites do attract.." looking at Kiiros and then looked away "....Sometimes...and they're girls...you can never really understand them but hey, if they wanna be cool, fine. Beats having to fight everyone daily. but me personally, I still don't trust everyone here just yet. Don't know if I ever will."

Looking over at Damien joining them, Wes shrugged to what Damien said not really caring if he join them.

Some light testing just after a major tussle? Common, yet effective. Veronica blocked the attacks with ease. Then an idea popped into her head. Veronica inched forward, just within 5 meters of Her, in a full defensive position and waited for an attack.

'Somethings up,' She thought. She moved forward again, going for a hard punch to the stomach.

"I got my butt kicked. I didn't land a single hit." Katherin commented. She felt like she had done badly. She hadn't been able to do anything. At most she might have impressed everyone with her ability to fly if nothing else. She sighed. She glanced to the fight. Atleast those two looked like they knew what they were doing. She sighed. It looked like it was she was going to get beat a lot in training. She waved the doctors away. There as little they could do for her. The could bandage her wing but it needed to be washed first.

"Sit your ass back down. Interrupting is rude! Stating the obvious is even ruder!" He turned, placing his palm on Damien's forehead and shoving him away. He didn't have too much of an interest in making friends anyway but he did think about it every once in a while.

He looked back to Wes. "Pshaw, I trust everybody here with my life already." his sarcasm couldn't be more obvious. "I mean you already saved me, didn't ya?" He poked Wes in the cheek, grinning evilly. "Ever thought if I'd return the favour?"

"Pfft. Yeah, whatever man." Damien retorted as he waved away Kiiros's palm. He looked back at Katherin. She looked down, disappointed almost. Something was up, and damn it Damien was going to help her and get to the bottom of it. He nudged Katherin with his elbow delicately and raised his eyesbrows. "Hey, something's eating at ya. What's up Angel Girl?" He commented. Nicknames were fun for Damien to make.

She may suspect something...but this? Ooooh no. Sorry Jen, but this may hurt... Veronica focused her power into using her levitation ability at it's maximum lift...on Jen. Lifting only the back part of her feet so she had no control, no balance, and could only fall forward. Veronica made sure her hands were covered and delivered a hard upper cut as she was falling into it.

David sat watching the fight. both were impressive. Both had good form. But he had a feeling en was going to win this fight, but he could be wrong. THen he glanced over at Wes. David wondered what he was capable of. David looked around the arena to see if there was any place he could drain energy from. The energy he took from the computers was much more then the one he took from the tracker, but he had to be ready. He wasnt to sure what he was u agaimst

Jen felt the crunch of her nose breaking and let out a groan as she got back up.
"Not bad. But you're gonna have to do more than that to keep me down," She said, bringing her fists up once again.

Seeing how he responded to Damien and then turned his attention back to him, Wes nearly gave a chuckle about how trusting Kiiros is "Tch...I trust you as much as I trust the KKK to allow me in their group without hanging me." he said in retort to Kiiros "And I only saved you from a whim...I don't need you to repay me. And even if you wanted to save me, I'll just reject it and figure another way out the situation. I mean, there's not that many things I need you to save me from."

This level of tenacity was impressive. Veronica could not waste precious breath on saying something back. She to readied for the next bout, this time in an offensive position.
