Ryouko understood what she meant, and he turned slightly to face her. "I know how you feel... Do you think I can blend in as easy... when I don't have control over my abilities and...fall over..? The scrape bleeds...but the blood doesn't flow normally...And when it suddenly floats and makes a sphere...I'm on the run again."

He then shuddered softly. "It may have still been easy to blend in...But...People scare me."

While trying to have Kiiros chill with him for the time being, he caught sight of David coming over to settle Kiiros down. "I don't care" Wes shrugged, not minding his help. "You amp'd up about our fight?"

"I didn't say it would be easy for you to blend in Ryouko. Just that you can. You can walk outside and as long as you don't get hurt no one would think you were anything but human. I don't have that option. I can't walk don't the street. I can't get a job or go to school. I don't have a choice." Katherin explained. She hadn't meant that he would have an easy time being a part of society. Just that he could learn and participate if he wanted to.

"But you can be normal here, with us, now. We are the normal here." He whispered, as he glanced down at his hands and at the small orb of blood that rested in his left hand. He then glanced back up at her, smiling his usual smile. "You don't have...to worry."

Veronica went into a deeper sleep and radiation began to course around her body.

"Even here I stand out." Katherin pointed out. But she took the seat he offered. She wasn't usually this depressing. She was sore and frustrated with herself. She didn't want to push the others away. They were her one chance at friendship. She had always wanted to have friends.

"If it makes you feel better, I'd say you did great in that fight. How is your wing holding up...?" He cleared his throat after he spoke, before speaking a bit clearer. "Plus, I still stand out because I'm new. You're not the only one." He said, turning to where he wasn't facing her but halfway and wasn't too close. Respecting her space. "You can call me whatever you want...but to me...you're just a girl with an amazing ability."

"It will need to be tended to. I have alteast two broken bones. Why does everyone keep saying that? I didn't even land a hit?" Katherin asked. She didn't understand what she had done that had impressed the others so much. She had managed to dodge a couple of times. But that was it. "Flying isn't that amazing. Not compared to the other. Kiiros can control fire. He had wings, a sword, and armor."

"Aw... look at them babying her... don't you find that adorable?" He said to Wes, still standing next to him, watching the others chat.

"Well..... let's see how adorable it is when I throw your ass back in some freezing cold water for the second time and have the guards baby you back to health." he said in response while sitting and waiting for the next match.

Jen groaned a little as she raised her head.
"Would you guys shut up?" She said.

Veronica drempt about the events she had just been through. Replaying everything since her arrival from an outside perspective.

David sighed and wasnt going to deal with Kirros. His hand wasnt that badly burned. He looked at Wes. "Yes I am. What about you man?" Heasked sittng down

Ignoring Jen, Wes looked over to David "Yeah...but this will be my first time fighting someone with powers....honestly...i don't know how my abilities will fair in a straight out fight." He responded.

Damien watched in anticipation as the fight reached it's end. It was Veronica who was the winner of this fight, and after such a good bout, Damien couldn't wait for the next one, and his one too! As the two walked out, Damien stood up and put his fist into the air. "Woo! Good fight girls!" Damien reclined back into his seat, simply listening to the conversations taking place.

Jen went and sat next to where Veronica was, giving a smile when she saw the girl sleeping.

The dream finally caught up to the fight, then it changed. The perspective switched to first person and the world went slightly blue. Veronica's hand went up and she felt like she was using her power. Then Jennifer started to die from the attack. Jen briefly turned into a blue marker then exploded in a shower of red and blue. Veronica then shot awake, breathing heavily.

Jen leaned over.
"Are you ok?" She asked, concerned for the girl.

Veronica looked wide eyed at her friend. "Bad dream. I didn't hurt you too much did I?" Checking to make sure she hadn't lost control towards the end of the fight.

Jen shook her head.
"No. You just tired me out. Did I hurt you?" She asked, worried she had done the same and hurt the other girl with her powers.
